Well as for pensions thats no problem , every citizen pay from every paycheck into their retirement. If thise pays are invested in gold then its more than enough for the last years of the retiree. Only no nation have done this , more common is to "save" in stocks. Only buying stocks isnt saving as everyone will have you think.
