just watched it at our local university -- brilliant movie, and even more brilliant there wasn't a greek propaganda tent outside, hehe. :)
BTW, the old Macedonian grandma in the movie got a rousing applause for, well, you would just have to see it. ;-)

nonsense. as a minimum of good will, every group shoupd respect the basic human inaleanable rights of selfdetermination and ability to choose a name they see fit for them selves.
that is the basic minimum, not some historical mythology that every nation has right to use the way it sees fit.
basic human rights are a minimum of good will. nothing short of that.

As a minimum of goodwill when different ethnic groups determine themselves with the same name, should modify it to show that they take into account the other group. The ethnically greek macedonians have equally the right to the name macedonia because macedonia is a region in northern Hellas and because its a part of the hellenic historical heritage.
By the way, the name macedonia is hellenic: μακεδνός (cf. μακρός): tall
