Thats a superb video. Im off out to see clan line in a couple of days. That was some very professional footage. I wish mine was as good as that and i knew of all these good locations. 5* for you
1. VSOE trains have slack timings to give their customers value for money. 2. I'm lucky that this route runs close to the M4,M25 and the A3 meaning it's easy to keep up. 3.(and most importantly). I don't make these videos alone. My brother provides additional material turning one location into two shots. These can vary from ten foot apart to up to two miles.

Thank you Vic. We do try to create a story of the whole trip whenever possible.This particular route is relatively easy for us as it is well worn.Here's to steam in 2009 which unfortunately makes quite a quiet start, but it'll soon pick up.
Arrgh SWT really have an annoying reputation for getting their trains in the way of the view of steam! Filming on stations can be a tricky situation as you get purists that might tend to ruin shots. But some sun on the loco really proved effective!

Thanks Bob. This is such a regular trip for VSOE that the reachable locations have almost been exhausted by us. But i am pleased how this turned out although most credit has to go to my brother Alan who provided more shots than me on this occasion.Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Thank You. No Brentford Station doesn't have barriers, but it is sometimes staffed and also boasts a small buffet which always appears to be open.
