  • This is one of the greatest games I have ever played. It's EPIC.

  • Deus ex Yellow Revolution

  • Looks alot better than Invisible War, which was great, can't wait!

  • i hope they dont fuck this up like every other developer has with every other long over due anticipated game. IE DUKE NUKEM FOREVER.

  • @bazzamataz72 Well to counter DNF:

HL2, TF2, and all of Blizzard's games were considered vaporware at one point of another. They're now all considered masterpieces, and the first two even overshadowed their groundbreaking predecessors.

  • @DoctorWeeTodd never played tf2 but HL2 was brilliant but it wasnt overdue it was well timed and very well done. but Star craft 2 was a pile of shit.

  • @bazzamataz72 HL2 was in development for six years. Unlike DNF though, it wasn't officially unveiled until E3 2003. But it was slated to come out in 2003. Then delay after delay came until it finally was released in November 2004.

  • @DoctorWeeTodd yeah i still dont think it was overdue considering the type of game that it was there was a lot of development in that game and it takes about 4 years to develop a GooD game so again i think it was well timed. overdue is DNF where it has taken them 12 -15 years and star craft 11 Years and stalker 8 years. i hear what your saying but if you look at what is taken to develop a true game 6 years is right on the money IF its a good game and HL2 was brilliant i loved it

  • Robot Sun Glasses!

  • hehe when the blade came out...first thing to pop in my mind was Full Metal Alchemist =)

  • can you give 5 credits to someone who has the grey death

  • best game in world.

    preordered for sure...

  • I've watched this video about a thousand times and I still am.

  • Those glasses... I want them.

  • Can't wait.

  • me encanta la representacion del cuadro de rembrandt, no conozco el juego, pero con esta alegoria que le hicieron al cuadro " la leccion de anatomia del doctor tulp" definitivamente lo jugare.

  • I spill my drink!

  • could someone tell me the name of the song playing in the trailer, i can't find it anywhere

  • Yeah, I think that is Christian Bale, in the other video Judge Reinhold is the other voice. He played Billy Rosewood in Beverly Hills Cop.

This game looks amazing hopefully they dont mess it up.

  • Anyone notice similarities between Neucomancer and Deus ex. Icarus and Daedalus are similiar to Wintermute and Neuromancer. If post developed Ai has to be constructed from tow separate programs in order to avoid formation of superintelligence or self consciousness machine then what are limitations of these post developed programs?

  • "If you want to make enemies..

    ..try to change something"

    *puts on shades*

  • game is incredible ....w8ing until it comes out

  • 100.000 views!!! Deus Ex RULES!

  • does that sound like Christian Bale to anyone...?

  • why does every square enix game have a jenova reference of some sort? xD

  • i have a big wang for this..and im asian.... ;)

  • @JimmySentence

    oh god what

  • btw dont u think he sounds like Mac from (TV prog) future weapons!!

  • Beautiful graphs this game is for the PS3?

  • @SHADOWROGAL ps3 and xbox

  • Deus Ex 2 failed miserably.

I wont be getting my hopes up.

  • Do I need to get and play the other 2 games to understand this one!?

  • @KINGJADEX i dont think so :p

  • hey thats me! lol

  • Looks sick tbh

  • God damn, now I need a cigarette, a drink and robot arms.

  • @furryjonny [ God damn, now I need a cigarette, an alcoholic beverage, and robot arms. ] there fixed. lol =P

  • @furryjonny you don`t have Sentinel health system installed to repair the damage, so don`t smoke :)))))

  • I like the Icarus symbolism. i hope this game throws you in some sort of free roam world... could you imagine being lose in Blade Runner like city, 1:20 something never done before in a game. And his quote at the end? "If you wanna make enemies. Try to shape something" it doesn't sound right, could it be bad writing :S I hope is just a hiden meaning. i'm really looking forth ward to E3 for more info. i hope this turns out to be something inspiring.

  • @MsBickle76 Dude do you know how awesome that would be iv dreamt of a perfict Blade Runner type of game for a long long time, that would actually be a really good idea but im pretty sure the free roam thing wont happen.

  • @ArkusVI OMG! Have you seen the new trailer? the new E3 trailer is awesome is like a movie... easily best video game trailer EVAR! , it won't be free roam sandbox it will be more action than RPG shoother. I had this belive that Edios wouldn't fuck up their best franchase... and i was right. it wont be our Blade Runner but still it will be good. to bad they wont let us losse on a city like that. we'll just fallow maps and paths like the first Deus Ex. getting this pre-order thoug.. :/

  • I just hope it come close to the vastness of Deus Ex 1, when your really see different consequences in your actions, different ways of thinking, playing, and enjoy the game. DX1 bring out a strange vibe, i can't explain, but it's like i'm a part of it, and my own decision really matter. Graphic, Visual, flashy stuff... has nothing to do with such (just my own opinion)

  • i want those implanted sunglasses lol

  • caralio.. me plagiarãooo...suhshuahszuera

    !

  • My name is Icarus and you cannot imagine how awesome i feel about it atm

  • Seriously, who in their right mind would have sunglasses stapled to his face? This is the kind of retardedness that made Deus Ex great by not being there.

  • @Advancedgod, it's the future, who know what augs they have then .besides, its the guys HUD so it kinda figures <3

  • @Advancedgod If it's being developed by Square-ENIX, expect alot of retardness stuff like, Ultra Gigantic Oversized Swords comming out of nowhere, alot of sunglasses, alot of sparkles in fights, and etc, etc, etc, Is what they do best, I'm not saying is bad, but It just doesn't fit on this particular Saga.

  • I am soooo waiting for this...

"If you want to make enemies, try to change something."

    What a statement!!!

  • @vstbull - - - - I also thought it was quite powerfu, until it's closely examined. Surely the reverse is true if the object of the verb "change" is..."underpants". :-)

    -

(Here's hoping the game is as good an experience as the original. "Invisible War" was such a let-down.)

  • does anyone know the relese date and or age rating, i hope we get to see JC and paul, even though its aprequel it could happen, and foryou DX1 fans doesnt he look kinda like a thin gunther

  • I really should replay the first 2.

  • Did they steal christian bale's voice from the batman movies?

  • And smoking in instantly cool again...

  • jmvasquez, this is set 25 years before DX1 during the age of the mechs like Gunther Hermann and Anna Navarre, before nano-augs were developed :>)

  • wtf? is that JC Denton or Jax? i thought the whole premise of the game was augmentation with nanomachines?

  • Kind of a cliche/obvious dream, but it looks pretty good.

  • Reminds me of full metal alchemist a bit

  • The arm-mounted sword he wields - I see this sort of thing a lot in fiction, but have an real warriors in history ever used something like that? A blade affixed to the forearm must have been clumsy to wield.

  • I loved the first title but the second blew balls! I've been around since the first pong game but I wish that they would have multiplayer on it. I love single player campaigns (and will play this) but I continue to play for the competitive multiplayer. Playing against other humans who do not react like computer programs is the future of FPS's IMO. While I don't think its crucial to this game if done right could have turned it into a possible best seller!

  • ITS ABOUT BLOODY TIME.

    DEUS EX FTW!!

  • well, bioware know how to make a good RPG, not a good STORY.

  • @submitted haha guys thanks for the thumbs down, but is true.. this game is gonna be crap. sorry, RIP deus ex.

  • Isn't eidos the one whos been developing it since the beginning? I think it's just square enix just publishing it, so it can't harm the game itself that much.

  • Yes Eidos was developing it since early 2007 and Square-Enix buy Eidos in 2009.

So apart from the CGI sequence i think Square-Enix doon't will pu anything in this game

  • square enix is only cutscene developer.

They had made the Final Fantasy cutscenes and i bet they are the best.

  • @badmaker77

I would put blur above them

    Then Blizzard above blur

Then Weta Digital ILM and Lucas Arts above that.

  • lol, another dude wasting his time on some mp crap.

  • This game looks BAD AMAZING!!!

  • sounds like christian bale

  • looking groovy :D

and also, thats the first EVER decent trailer one-liner I've heard to be honest (the 'try to change something' one). Seriously. All other trailers (hollywood usually :P) have some crap that just tries to sound cool, but for once its actually just true =|

  • I think the video is good! It really seems that there will be a lot of character development, and the game will have themes that go beyond killing stuff. Overall I think they can pull a great story!

  • since when did square enix make anything important other than final fantasy?

  • square fucking enix...

    this wont end well

  • lewl true

  • There's actually a data cube left behind by the technicians saying that they did it on purpose.

Oh and if you manage to scare the hobos in UNATCO HQ one might run into a barrel and set himself on fire - causing more hobos to run amok and run into the burning person setting themselves on fire! In my first play through the entire hobo colony killed themselves via chain reaction this way.

  • Interesting. I will reserve judgement on this game until I see more of it in action. Here's hoping it captures at least some of the spirit of the first 2 games. At first I was befuddled by that opening segment but then it dawned on me...Icarus. I wonder if the mech-aug (who appears to be our protagonist) will have any connection to the said AI.

  • Icarus is being used as symbolism in the trailer just like it was used in the first game. Icarus was more than an entity.

  • @Shralla I love those symbolism, also like in Deus Ex 1. I really hope Deus Ex 3 will offer the same "art" of story, background information like the first one.

  • @Shralla agreed, Icarus stands for how we humans create the most unbelievable things, like Deadalus made wings to fly with, but we destroy ourselves slowly with our own technology, like when Icarus flew too high and fell in the sea.

  • @SearingSeratil not only destroy ourselves... Icarus knew what would happen when I fly to high, but he did, anyhow. Humans are wise enough to see what will happen but they hope it won't happen and ignore this. like: "according to our calculations we won't survive that... let's try nevertheless." stupidity of mankind.

  • @MinosDaedalus yeah! woot, i hope this game will be as awesome as the very first x5!

  • @Shralla Icarus has found you! Run while you can! Icarus has found you! Run while you can! Icarus has found you! Run while you can!

  • @Shralla It`s a metaphor for the man`s eternal hunger .... to "fly higher". It`s like a warning.

  • blade runner style

  • Hell yeah.

  • looks prety cool!

  • Seems fitting in this trailer to have wings being burned by the sun, considering Icarus was a pivotal character in the first Deus ex.

  • Wow. Deus ex 1 rules, but i have a feeling this one won't match it.

  • This means there is a link between the Deus Ex 3 main character and the Icarus A.I ?

  • Actually, the developers said the emphasis on the Icarus myth was for the whole concept of people inventing things and making advancements they weren't ready for.

  • Imagine having a hand that is so insensitive you can't hold a glass, let alone an egg, without accidentally cracking it.

  • @LordBifford wanking would hurt like hell

  • @LordBifford wanking would hurt like hell

  • ohmygoddeusex3imsosuperexcitedihavesuchanerectionrightnow!!

  • OMG!! Square Enix!! i'm sold!!

  • I hope they pull through with this. Invisible War was passable at best and suffered from Ion Storm's closing, the original was something that managed to keep me on the edge of my chair the whole way through.

  • angel cakes, that didn't make alot of sense.

  • Comment removed

  • so cool i remember the first deus ex for the pc so fun cant wait for this one

  • Lets hope this one wont fail.. who knows? it might...

  • omfg! this is a masterpices! the music take me far away! i wait for this game!!!!

deus ex was the very best game ever!

  • wow 54,000 views... there are that many Deus Ex fans lol

  • Ye, that's really awesome, couldn't believe in such thing :)

  • @soldier4670 Quite a few "top 10' lists put it as the best game of the last decade.

Not the second one though... :P

  • @soldier4670 dude the game sold over 1 million copies so its obvious that it has tons of fans...

  • @soldier4670 It's more than likely the same people going off the page and thinking, "Woah, I need to watch that again".

  • @soldier4670 oh come on... Deus Ex is awesome old school gaming. hopefully the 3rd installment wont destroy the game like the 2nd did

  • @soldier4670 they are more...man and even more

  • i really hope this is still a complete RPG not another crappy action game, i love the other 2 deus ex for being total rpg

  • This trailer is so epic

  • blade runner style

  • loved the original, this one looks like it has potential to be badass

  • im totally gonna buy this game when it comes out

  • where is petrus?

  • Nice to see that Federal is still in business. 1:10

  • if i had shades built into my face i would be so happy ...

  • @Dumsparenutz32 NO, YOUD STILL BE A VIRGIN

  • does anyone know when its going to be released?

  • End of this year of early 2011

  • omg i want it i want itttt deus ex games are amazing

  • i need to hear something like the part when he hold the glass, the singing. if anyone know something like that it would be appreciated

  • If you already have a crazy bionic arm, do you really need a sword or baton to come out of it?

  • All he needs is some soy food to go with his cigs and cheap alcohol to complete the Deus Ex meal

  • @deathlycold

    I SPEEELED MY DRIIINKKK!

  • I'm definitely prepared to be dissapointed by this...but I think that's what allowed me to enjoy Invisible War so much (I was freaking out about that game's circular HUD when it was still in development, but ended up liking it slightly more than DX1).

Hopefully this game will have the freedom of Invisible War with gameplay mechanics more like DX1 (cross-hair bloom, etc.) I fear they might do the opposite, though.

Whatever, even if its the "worst" of the three, I bet I'll still love it.

  • I came.

Please God don't let them screw up this one like they did DE:IW.

  • @BringbackSWATcats

Please, they're not going to make the same mistakes they did with IW. They're going to make completely new and original mistakes.

  • I do have a PS3, I do enjoy games...heard of this game before...but can't imagine how it is...what's the style...is it good?

    Greetings

  • this is... beautiful!

  • He clearly wanted Orange.

  • he got lemon lime! it must be a conspiracy!

  • Great work - can't wait to see the game

  • something from music is from Return to the castle Wolfenstein

  • cool, i cant wait to play this. i hope Alexander Brandon does the music.

  • I like the symbolism in this trailer. Icarus got cocky, flew towards the sky, and got burned by the sun, just like humanity in the game trying to play god...

  • 6shqip6star6 - Nice observation.

  • awesome.. the music (especially at showing the bottle of booze) reminds me to something.. maybe I heard similar music before but I dont know where exactly.

also cool voice acting, like that voice and this whole setting of that scene =)

  • @MinosDaedalus Blade Runner, man, Blade Runner. The way he drinks as he looks out over the city is like Blade Runner.

  • The setting itself reminds me of Ghost in the Shell, as the philosophic aspect in it.

  • @Mutio86 I'm glad they are making it philosophical, it's one of the things that assures that the game isn't shit,

IMO I believe that what the trailer is trying to explain is that the guy who grows wings (Adam Jensen) flies too high up and has them burnt by the sun is a metaphor for humanity getting technology and augmentations and they become so powerful that we just lose them and fall.

  • True that.

  • :D im also looking forward to this, and to the music! the music in the Deus Ex 1 was pure awesome!

and yea, i also thought that music remebered me of something, I thought it kinda sounded like the arthas ending theme:

  • Woo! its wolverine..

Looks good (well its just a trailer with no gameplay but it still looks good)

  • I really liked DX1, DX2 was also somwehow a cool game, so i`m waiting for this new release, but first i need to change my system specs. Right now i`m playing on pretty low-end hardware. Greetings to all DX fans :)

  • **In annoyance, Jensen squeezes the glass till cracks appear and thinks "...but I wanted ORANGE!"**

  • hahah dude nice reference lol

  • You're kidding right?

First of All this is a prequel, second of all DX2 was released in 2003, and is sold on steam.

    Noob.

  • @BrightRaven0 Have you been living under a rock since Deus Ex came out?

Deus Ex 2 (called Invisible War) came out in 2003.

    Google is your friend.

  • @BrightRaven0

There was a sequel, Deus Ex: Invisible War took place 20 years after the original. Also, this isn't a sequel, its a prequel taking place before the formation of UNATCO

  • the main title soundtack for dx is missing.

Anyways it got me hyped up

  • I've just bought the original game to catch up on the storyline in preparation for this.

  • same (kinda.. dl'ed it)

but i heard dx3 is gonna be a prequel

  • the storyline is complex and deep, conspiracy thingie with a lot of twists..unlike any generic modern FPS nowadays with shallow storyline

  • Yeah, that's true... most FPS's these days only give you a story as an excuse to shoot more things.

  • Thats just obvious dont u think? FPS (first person ... SHOOTER?) right? is like RPG games use theyr story as an excuse to kill more monsters and get monster powerful swords and all that shit xD

  • Ion Storm.

    What a shame.

What a rotten way to die.

  • >Square-Enix

    God. Damnit.

  • Don't worry too much on that subject. Apparently they're just doing cutscenes.

But if we see Bob Page and Lucius DeBeers with long luxurious hair, skintight leather with straps and zippers that do nothing and anatomically impossible giraffe legs jumping forty feet in the air to particle effects and dancing as they decapitate the Statue of Liberty barehanded with a nanosword, then be worried.

  • Look at the size of Jensen's sword-arm, I think we should start worrying. But I must say, this teaser in general was A BOMB!

  • Minimal involvement. Just CGI cut scenes.

  • It's Cyberpunk, if you like movies like Bladerunner, Johnny Mnemonic, or anime's like Ghost in the Shell, you should like this game.

  • @ johhny720 - This is a prequel to the 1st Deus Ex game, which is set in a period when the word's in a state of chaos and depression. The government cares only about the rich, and a number of terrorist organizations are formed to fight for equality. It's a very complex game and is very interesting.

This is the prequel, so what we know is that it'll show society slowly darkening to what it becomes in DX1. It looks like this will be when there is a mass push for experimentation on humans.

  • MUST PLAY!!!
