This originally made the rounds by VHS in the early 80's, (I have a copy). He was dealer in LA than moved up north. The story is that they filmed this for fun after completing the "real" commercial. Listen closely and you can hear the film crew laughing.

Obviously the commercial itself is for an SF dealership, but I've been told the guy was known on LA TV.
