I think Hance is good. I mean, no one is perfect live. The clean vocalist of my band has to take quite a few takes before even one section of the song sounds how he wants it to. Doing that live is much more difficult because you're not in a controlled setting. There are days you'll be good and days that'll just be plain shitty. Even when Tyler was in the band, he had a couple of shows where he'd be flat on some songs, or just not even be able to hit the notes. Don't be critical of Hance just ca

Their crowds "seem a lot more alive since Tyler left" because now all they're putting out is music that risecore fans want to hear: chugchugs and breakdowns. They lost their soul when Tyler and Tim left. I'm not saying they're not talented anymore, as there were 7 of them, and there are still 5 original members, but most of their sound went out the door when they replaced their lead guitarist and frontman. Everyone is saying Hance "fits better", which is just proving they sound more generic now.

There isn't another vocalist like Tyler Carter in the post-hardcore industry (at least, not that I know of, besides maybe An Ocean Alive).
