Not quite sure what this video has to do with the most highly anticipated and (hopefully) credibly themed roller coaster the UK has seen in years? Thorpe/Merlin have lost the plot, the marketing for Thorpe the last couple of years has just been awful! You can't fill a park with 12-25 year olds all the time. Focusing too much on this age bracket is going to kill the park. Some thrill seekers have *shock horror* Kids even and are aged over 30! Quit the crap marketing and get back on track! FAIL!

Wow, despite having one of the best themed attractions in the country, you just couldn't resist taking the marketing it into generic, boring, totally irrelevant, blackpool-esque crap. I know the target audience is the sort of people who respond to pop music and people dancing around like retards in morphsuits, but, seriously, to go from themeatic, immesive storyline, to people looking like goons, dancing to irrelevent music, just made the ride go from being believable, to a joke.

This is a bit disappointing to say the least. It's great that THORPE PARK have decided this type of advertising, but it just seemed to be people dressed in black dancing around... which doesn't have anything to do with The Swarm. They could try something a bit different like T Mobile did, and look how many views they got on YouTube.

Next time Thorpe Park should involve the public and create a 'scene' in London :)
