we were mijority, called our selves as macedonoans, and in un we are reckognised as an ethnic group(although greece tries to unsuccesfuly change that).

I am Macedonian from Greece, everyone from Meliti who moved to the United States in the early 1900's attended Bulgarian churches...what does that tell you? The Macedonian churches were not established until after 1960 when the communist federation was established in the former Yugoslavia..... my baba taught me to speak Macedonian which is a dialect derived from may languages including Greek, we are proud Macedonians who support a Hellenic Republic! They're not. This village was hardcore pro-Bulgarian in the late Ottoman era, and in the 1920's applied to the Serbian consulate in Salonika to be declared a Serbian minority (some of them actually moved there!). Yet today, no one wants to leave Greece.

Who are you kidding? Serbian turbo-folk music is the most popular music in the ROM, and those people in Meliti today listen to Greek music far more often than any other type of music.
And even though Meliti is one of the few villages in Greece where Rainbow actually gets more than a handful of votes, the majority of those people ARE what they want to be: Greek.
