@140memo Sorry for the long response: I'm going to be making videos about each of the classes once my laptop gets fixed, but I can help you. The MAV has ammunition that can be used to take out enemy equipment such as other MAVs, radio signal spawn points, soflams, tugs, eod bots, etc. You get unlimited amounts of shots, but it takes time to reload. To shot equipment, it's better to lock on to them similar to the stinger, javelin, and soflam. I recommend using the MAV more than the tug since the

@140memo MAV since you can get kills with it (road kills), spot enemies at high and far distances, and can become a tug if you let it drop someone. The tug is stationary and can only be used for small ranges. The tugs is mostly for small maps like Operation Metro. The SOFLAM is useless without an engineer. Using teamwork is very important when using it. The soflam is used to target and lock on to enemies vehicles as well as jets and choppers. Once you lock on to something, the engineer can

@140memo lock on to the vehicle using the javelin or the stinger to get an arch when the rocket is shot which can lead the rocket to the object a lot better. The soflam is used for bigger maps with a lot of vehicles and not small maps. I hope I helped clear things up about the recon gadgets. recons can be very helpful when they play their role which is why I use it almost every game

here's my story... like anyone cares. i'm awesome at Cod. i've played since CoD4, and i'm so sick of all the kd whoring, quickscoping, camping, domination tdmers (people who go into dom just for easy kills) that i bought bf3. i love it. i love how everyone works together and it requires teamwork and everyone doing their role. i intend to play much more of this game and forgive me if i sound newbish, but when this drone spots a soldier, does he appear on the mini map? if not, how is this useful?

@FueledByTyeler The MAV can spot enemies and then it appears on the mini map as well as regular spotting. It's basically like a blackbird in Black Ops. I think it's very useful and a lot of fun to fly around and get road kills with. I know what you mean about the cod players, and it's funny how cod people try to play BF3 like cod and not work together with their team. Not funny when they're on your team though

Earned the MAV last night and immediately equipped an deployed and won my next 5 rush matches, getting promoted twice and once being the highest awarded in match. Had a good team below me as I went ahead of the team from deployment to each MCOM station, spotting snipers, ambushes and tanks. I was also able to talk to my squad mates and let them know when the MCOM station were clear to rush and after they armed them point out the defenders coming to disarm. the MAV rocks with the right team.

ooo man id love to have you on my team, me and my buddy used to do something like that in BC2 with recon all we did was spot targets and when we could take some shots we did, even at one point turned it into who could get the highest score with recon 70-90 kills later between both of us, and idk how many spot assists/assists our team won

Dude, i would love to play BF3 with you. I sometimes(most of the time) do the same thing u do in this video, but it depends if the situation demands it. Like if i nead to be sneaky and help out, Recon. but if people are dying andthey need to be revived, then assault. It isn't the class that you use, it is the way, and effectiveness, of the way you use it.

I agree with you 100%. For some reason my team wasn't taking advantage of my spotting since we eventually lost the game. I think it's because not a lot of people actually LOOK at the radar. It's so helpful and a good habit to pick up

I'm ALWAYS playing as Recon and I love using the MAV. I get more point then anyone from all the spotting and I don't even get a single kill. One time I joined a game and my team was getting DESTROYED. I joined when the 3rd set ended and the last was starting. We were able to hold them back all because of the spotting craziness I was doing. Love helping out

@MushyPanda that's awesome. I love helping out the team too, but what happened after this video wasn't pretty. I don't know if I should post it since my team wasn't getting anyone even though I was spotting and watching the other team's movements. People need to look at the radar more since good recon players can only do so much -_-
