It's like a metaphor for life in the US... We don't even realize how what we love to consume comes from an asian cesspool. I actually haven't eaten shrimp since I saw this video... it's crazy it's been almost 6 months... Now I can safely say never again... this is SO disgusting.
@neverfearchrisishere I know but there is a big difference between a shrimp in nature and a shrimp grown in water that's completely saturated with toxic sewage and antibiotics. The main difference, there's so many toxins in it that pass through and hurt your body.
I became allergic to shrimp at 17 and for years I was upset by that because I loved shrimp. But after hearing this story, my soul is finally at peace.
Companies make more profit by making the poor even poorer and by making the products of lesser quality... they burn the candle by the 2 ends, we've got to cut the loop.

Also, the comment on antibiotics sounds like bull to me. It sounds more like the diseases and bacteria that are naturally resistant to those antibiotics survive and propagate to the point where we get sick. @silos201 "diseases and bacteria that are naturally resistant to those antibiotics survive and propagate" You've got to learn about bacillia mutations and evolution...

I'm a vegetarian, but I lately I've flirted with the idea of occasionally ordering shrimp when going out to eat with relatives, simply because I have such a hard time finding things to eat at restaurants they choose. Now I think I will stay veggie.
@ihaterobbie123 You are, of course, quite welcome to your opinion. I am, however, a bit curious about your choice of me as a target for your statement. I didn't say anything derogatory toward anybody and simply gave a slight glimpse into a part of my little world. As for the importance of a food's origin, I suggest you educate yourself. I'm no expert. I'm sure there are foods out there just as unsafe as these shrimp. I'm also sure there are foods that are safer. I was just commenting on a video.
@MsLilithJS "I'm sure there are foods out there just as unsafe" Show me any health issues associated with the consumption of these shrimp and then I'll listen to what you have to say. As a person with a degree in Biology I can tell you that the shrimp (or any animal) isn't tainted in any way by the environment they grew up in. So long as they've been washed and their digestive tracts removed then they're safe to eat.
@Sclunger As a hydroponic Cannabis farmer yes I do Know what Organic means, And I can tell you there is nothing beneficial to using organics.. you get less food for more acres and it cost more... that's about it
We don't develop antibiotic resistance.. the microbes living on us develop resistance, thus antibiotics stop working on them.
Perhaps part of the problem is also the free-market confusing people over quality and terms with slick ads., thus cheating with cheap junk, wrecking alternative sustainable sources.
In EU 'prawns' are generally sold as the high quality alternative, origins are often stated on packaging.
There should be openly debated international regulation & 'planning' of staples IMO.
haha well just ask at restaurants where they get the shrimp from. make sure you get the answer that its gulf coast wilddd shrimp. good shit.. any thing else, thats shady
You should read the USDA's regulations concerning what is accepted and allowed. All kinds of bug and rodent poop and hair and molds etc. Now you all start worrying when you've been eating all this crap already for years in your lives. Jeez.
Well, we could eat rocks and drink water. Unless you raise or make your food from the ground up you really will never know just what your are getting and cramming down your throat. You should at what food was like in Victorian England. At least in this century in many countries the food is regulated far better than it ever has been before now. I love in Thailand and the food I eat is of very high quality and made in a very clean professional manner. Personally nothing you eat is "pure".
@shamzillah What are you talking about? From your channel you are apparently into boxing, and not much else. Perhaps you have been hit in the head too many times . . .
I thought you might be a troll, but clearly you are either misinformed, ignorant, or just plain stupid. You have no idea what you are talking about. If you wish to enlighten us about what your patrticular religion belives, I'll certainly listen.
@shamzillah Roman cleansing? Do you mean Paul's cleanising in the name of Jeebus? The Romans cleansed us of Jeebus, that's about it. Bringing in biblical references to support the idea that shrimp - farm or fresh - are somehow inedible does not even conform with scripture, must less reality. As you cite the christian bible and Jeebus, not the torah, quran, B. of M., or other reognized holy book, you're religion appears to be made up to be whatever you want. Please enlighten us.
@MickeyGunz72 Apparently you failed reading comprehension like your friend shamzilla. I did not reference the biible, shamzilla did. I explained that the bible - fake and retarded as it is - does not support his position. However, in the spirit of open debate I will watch your video . . .
@MickeyGunz72 OK, thats 9:39 of my life I won't get back. The majority of the vid is him listimng whathe thinks are clean and unclean - never mind the dsicrepencies of bats not being birds, and the mixture of hooved animals for no apparent reason. Regardless, his position is that J said to keep the commandments in Matthew 5:19, then argues that this applies to dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, it is unclear whether he considers all of the rules given in Lev and Duet.
@MickeyGunz72 He also mentions Matthew 15, 10-11 - what goes into one's mouth does not defile him - then completely ignores that statement and argues that you are "saying" something to god when you don't adhere to the diet, apparently on reference to the second half of 15:10-11.
The man's idea is not internally consistent with any the plain wording of the scripture - indeed, I cannot even tell what denomination he is actually speaking about. Can you enlighten me?
@MickeyGunz72 Never mind. Went to his channel - he thinks teh new world order is real, and that Paul was a fake apostle.
I would actually agree that Paul is fake - I've always been amazed that christians believe such clap trap. Then again, his writings are the earliest, by about 40 years, making it more likely that the Jeebus myth from the synoptic gospels and John are extrapolations on Paul. There also is a problem since Acts - which is all Paul - was written by Luke. Oops
@shamzillah Again fail. You apparently mean "Yeshua." I would give you kudos for realizing the name Jesus is a bastardization of Yeshua, but you made up your own spelling using two separate words. Do you know anything about your own religion? If you did, you would know that Romans 14:14-23 is considered to remove the old dietary purity restrictions. Finally, wild shrimp eat mostly plankton and algae - NOT shit. However, the bible says you can eat a grasshopper in the OT. FAIL
@Axbent It snot a question of saying the name in another language. Its abolout the changing of the same name throug its travels among other languages. Anyway, according to wiki, FWIW:
The name James is derived from the same Hebrew name as Jacob, meaning "Supplanter" (in the Genesis narrative, Jacob was born grasping Esau′s heel and later bought his birthright).
@Axbent The name came into English language from the Old French variation James of the late Latin name, Iacomus; a dialect variant of Iacobus, from the NT Greek (Iákōbos), from Hebrew Yaʻaqov. The development Iacobus > Iacomus is likely a result of nasalization of the o and assimilation to the following b (i.e., intermediate Iacombus) followed by simplification of the cluster mb through loss of the b.
@shamzillah Fail. Jeebus eliminated the dietary restrictions of the "law" - THEN he sucked the Roman cock. The reality of whether something was clean or unclean was not necessarily interwined with the religious view.
This is what happens when corporations aren't sufficiently regulated. Vegetarians: don't think your vegetables aren't without their own dangers. Many of them have been genetically modified. Ever seen a contents label on a soybean? How about a sticker that says it's been modified?
Within 10 seconds of watching this video, I knew this would be bullshite. Think about this for a second.. shrimp are pretty sensitive creatures to their environment, meaning a slight change to what is required for them to survive could kill them. So, to say they are being raised in "Toxic waste ponds" is like saying darryl strawberry's home run bounced off the moon.
This is the third video by The Young Turks that has had my eyes rolling. This is just a bunch of hipster bullshit.
I heard they feed birth control pills (for humans) to crabs in Asia to make them grow faster. And all the Asian crab farmers do this, otherwise their prices cannot compete in the market.
I bet most of you calling shrimp disgusting eat hot dogs and burgers though. Ever feed your kid a sloppy Joe? Let's do a study on what goes into those hot dogs and ground beef. Sorry, I rather eat shrimp that eat poo, but at least have bodies that filter it out than eat ground beef that has questionable parts of cows with actual poo in them. But I digress, I love burgers too. It's nice not to be this snobbish with food. Some people are starving while you're being picky. How Godly of you all.
This is true about our food because you have government subsidize, you have the FDA, it's all heavily regulated and controlled by very few people deciding about food around the world. The interest groups are in bed with the politicians who make the policies.. This is rampet in America because we want the government to take care of us so much. They take care of us alright. A farm recently had the FBI come in because they sold some raw milk! Why do they care? That's the question. Ron Paul 2012!!!!
@Manofheart777 What the hell are you talking about? Before the FDA and in the book the Jungle talked about how without regulation in our meat there was literally a huge amount of feces and piss in it among other things.
During 1906 EVERYONE hated the government but they even they wouldn't allow this to happen to their food and so the FDA was created.
What you're talking about is money in politics which comes from Corporations donating to Politicans which we CAN create laws against
@tj203 Yeah, those are obvious fallacies that obviously where created to justify the creation of big government ether by the events of that time or after it. So ether it was staged in some form, or the fallacies where created to justify. The reason why we can confidently know that is simply to look at history before that time even all the way back as far as we know. So what they're saying is throughout human history, it was widely accepted until that time.. No man, this is pure politics. cont.>
@tj203 (2)People where not stupid until that time, no, this stuff was even in the Bible about clean and unclean food. So clean food is what's desired. Free markets and fraud prevention always too care of these things through time. If your meat is not good quality, people will go to the farmer in some other place to get there quality meat. If you commit fraud by not telling the truth to consumers about whats in your meat, you go to jail. But now the FDA undermines those principles. cont.>
@Manofheart777 (3)You have the government giving huge farm subsidies so that the farms stay in business no matter what the consumer thinks. We no longer control whats on the shelves of the grocery stores. Then if some farmer decides he will mix some chemical that harms reproduction in humans to create more meat, we have to go to the government to have it stopped, but guess what, we find out the corporate farms (they're corporate now because are the government pays for that) are in control cont.>
@tj203 (4) The corporate farmers are in control of the FDA, because the FDA is no more than a bureaucracy like the DMV, or welfare. And when fighting the corporate farmers, we find that they are more robust and carry more power because they're rich, we could never get enough backing to remove that unwanted chemical. So really, we are all back to square one except worse now because at least we had power before to just hire another farmer. Government is the problem. Ron Paul 2012 watch what u read
@Manofheart777 The problem is that in the same text that condemns homosexuality. It says in the bible that Shellfish shouldn't be eaten. But you never hear how they want to stop that. So it shows how Christians pick and choose.
@Trickishismael360 hmmm.. interesting. If you where really sincere with what you are saying, you would look into it a little further. You are talking about the matter of the law. The matter of the Old Testament law to the Jews which talks about clean and unclean food. There is spiritual symbolism and instruction here for people who are spiritual. When Jesus died and resurrected, he revealed the law was talking about him. But New Testament is the laws of Heaven. A man is to have only one wife.
@Trickishismael360 The nature of New Testament and Old is different. The old, God choose to speak through his people Israel. So everything they did, what they ate and didn't eat, their Holy days, how they build there city was all apart of the spiritual teachings that weren't fully revealed until the time of the Holy Spirit. They New Testament, God choose to speak to us directly through his Son and through the Holy Spirit. So he didn't use physical practices to teach people anymore.
@Manofheart777 That's why people work on Saturdays, and Sundays too. Because it's not about days anymore, nether is it about what food you eat. But the matter of homosexuality is about lust. He created our body parts including the chemistry and the psychological aspects for reproduction. That's why even a man and a woman can be found sinning even in there marriage life. So don't get it twisted. It's a matter of what you live for, God, or yourself. Only two ways you can go. No picking and choosin
Wow...learn something new everyday, I learned that talapia fish eat poop too. Do cat fish eat rats? I don't think we are suppose to be eating those either, the bible says eat whatever in the water that has fins and scales.
This reminds me of the time when I was in high school. One of my teachers found out what that black line on shrimp true purpose. When he saw some people was sleeping in class during that discussion (it was a 7 a.m. class), he shook their shoulders and said, "Wake up, I'm trying to save you from eating poop." That was so funny.
@Mezc0 that's pretty ignorant. you can be vegan and still get all the nutrients, vitamins, minerals and protein you need. we've been brainwashed into thinking we need meat and dairy in our diet when we don't. there are plenty of foods that provide tons of protein, calcium, blah blah blah and everything else.
@shanadorobins Correct the Dietary Law is still in effect whcih can be read in KJV Bible Leviticus 11 and Deutoronomy 14.. Leviticus 11:9-12 Explains that if it doesnt have fins And scales dont eat it. Some bibles tamper and Say Fins or Scales...no adding 0r taking away(Revelatioon 22:18-19), Matthew 5:17-19 Christ stressed that anyman who teaches others to break the least of the commandments will be least in the kingdom.
@shanadorobins Really? You bring religion into this? Yea, bet Christ didn't eat that... but you can bet the perfect omnipotent God made them! All so this perfect omnipotent God can tempt us. At least God has a sense of humor then!
@shanadorobins What type of all-knowing God is this then? He created something, but didn't know what it would do? And really? You believe some invisible being created shrimp to clean the planet? Wow. I will never understand this type of logic. And before you jump to any conclusions, I was raised a Catholic. My doubts started after reading Noah's Ark. Actually, that story pretty much set my non-belief in stone (pun intended).
@iz2sicc he did know what to do with it shrimp are scavengers and so are pigs. maybe you watch too many movies and it brings confusion to were you do not know what is real and what is not if ssatan has been here since the beg. of time dont you think he would be pretty good at decieving people by now? catholic is a fake church made to confuse the people and to have you worship the gods of babylon so you being confused in the cathloic church explaings alot
@iz2sicc all healthy eco systems need "garbage disposals" or the crap and dead bodies pile up leading to disease, etc. using simple logic, what would you do with the waste you produced if you didn't have plumbing? hyenas, pigs, shrimp, catfish, certain microbes, etc are necessary to recycle and breakdown waste. I will never understand how simple logic is beyond understanding.
@thesuperfe Who said I don't understand that logic? I take that logic a step further and apply it to the absurdity of a religious belief in an invisible omnipotent being. I also use this very logic to understand that these "garbage disposal" animals have a filtering system just like we do. Take a look at all the crap human beings take in like breathing toxic air. Does that make us dirty? Sorry bud, I'll continue eating shrimp because I know their body filters out the garbage they eat.
@iz2sicc plants filter CO2 and turn it into oxygen. funny thing photosynthesis...producing all that dangerous oxygen. certain animals, like oh say scavengers do not filter all things that can b fatal 2 humans. ex pigs carry a specific parasit that lays eggs in your brain and can kill u, transferable by touching raw pork. while others carry parasites normal for their diet that will NOT kill u if ingested. sometimes logic means u need 2 do some research.
@thesuperfe And if I were you, I'd stop eating plants and all other animals for that matter if you want to stick by your flawed logic. Plants filter out our air of carbon monoxide and other pollutants. Also keep in mind that manure is good for plant growth. I will never understand how simple logic is beyond understanding.
@iz2sicc plants dont filter manure. bugs and micro-organisms that live in soil breakit down into elemnts plants can absorb. some animals, because of their natural diet and digestive systems, will not only consume what is fatal 2 humans but not "filter" it. if forced to eat what's not natural to them their systems dont work properly at alland all kinds of stuff gets thru 2 humans, ex rGBH. is your poo just the food u ate, filtered? i guess common sense isnt that common
@Oweboy1960 Yea? And I've had countless problems throughout my life from eating everything from bad vegetables to beef to fruits. What's your point? We should all just become anorexic?
@Oweboy1960 that's not true bro, there's protein and starch in more than just meat Christ didn't eat meat and he lived 33 yrs, then remember Enoch, Noah, Shem, Ham, Japheth, also John the Baptist lived on locust & honey no beef, no pork, no shrimp, no fish, no cows milk, no chicken, even the Apostle Paul said he never ate meat when Christ showed him a vision. Get out of the "Americanized" way of life & free urself from the American dream only people who are actually sleeping dream...WAKE UP!!
@StreetExchangeEnt Christ clean foods he ate and drunk wine to the point the poeple said he was a winebibber and a gluttonous man he was also making a point because the Pharisees were hypocritical and sought to find fault with him.. Luke 7:31-35. As far as Paul in a vision,It was Peter who had a vision shown to him in Acts 10:10-17.. So when you read the whole cahpter its talking about Peter meeting up with a Gentile name Cornelius.. Peace
actually, shrimp eat poop at the bottom of the ocean too. theyr the roaches of the ocean. yea so, lets hope they clean those out before the 7 year life cycle.
Time to go vegetarian I guess... I think Ill eat all the meat thats left in the house first. Lets see how long I last as a vegetarian again... My record is 11 Months.
I also try to eat mainly organic, realized the truth about our food chain once I got kids and looked into proper nutrition...also to support smaller local farms that do treat their land and animals properly, but wow is it ever expensive...a free range chicken raised with good feed is easily 5 times the price of chicken raised in a tiny cage and fed antibiotics/growth hormones, same for cow & pork. Almost impossible to completely avoid the mainstream food chain, specially when you're travelling.
Yeape, capitalism and general population's disregard for others and for creatures we share the world with will reach it's pinnacle soon...the planet will eventually reset and move on without humans or with a lot fewer of it's virus-like human infection...let's face it, humans truly are a virus bent on destroying it's host, no doubt about it. Shrimp farms in asia, salmon farms in Chile, gmo soya and other crops covered in pesticides/herbicides, the entire food chain pumped with preservatives...
Time to grow your own,I suppose.Bad and disgusting practices are every where, not only in SE Asia or whatever country.Countries invading other countries and killing innocent civillians, in pursuit of their hidden and greedy agendas, is bad practice, isn't it? I do not eat shrimp anyway.

You said "you just confirmed my point". I was opposing your original comment "Why don't you just say it's from CHINA?" not your more general reference to "SE Asia".
I get what you are saying now, that China and other South East Asian countries have disgusting practices. I suppose you are contrasting those countries with other Asian countries such as the so-called Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh). Or former Soviet republics.
and the other 10% comes from the fresh, totally not covered in raw crude oil sludge Gulf. I stopped eatting gulf farmed shrimp after the spill. i don't give a shit how many scientists get paraded out on tv to say it's safe. i saw that sludge shit rolling into beaches first hand. i'd never eat anything that was concieved & raised near it. anyone dumb enough to deserves the last years of their life to be fraught with diseases and no quality of life.
Also buying organic food in a store is all a marketing ploy. I work for a chemical company and we deal in the food industry and our chemicals are apporoved to be put on "organic" food.
@Rachel42910 Eating fast-food will cause those things. Eating meat will not. I ingest plenty of HDL cholesterol (fish and fish oil), and have been told by my doctor I have a 3% chance of developing any kind of heart issue. My cholesterol levels are excellent, I exercise often and have an excellent resting heart rate. I'm healthy in every way, shape or form, lean and strong. Enjoy martial arts. I cook my own food, mostly avoid nutrient sparse food, have meat and veggies with every meal. Healthy.
@raymitch7410 Meat all comes from the same place.. fast food or not.. it is still a dead animal/ fish.. it does cause health problems. Watch the movie 'Fork over Knives' I think it's here on youtube.

Unfortunately you pretty much want to avoid most, if not all seafood these days...fish/shellfish from the ocean are full of toxic metals and fish/shellfish raised in hatcheries have even more toxic chemicals...PCBs, pesticides, prescription drugs from waste water etc.
@ShatterState Do you not see the difference between the life of a plant compared to that of an animal/fish? It's quite obvious they're not the same. Learn to care about other beings.
@Rachel42910 You can take care of the animals, give them an enjoyable healthy life devoid of the stress of being hunted by predators and always having to search for food, and then give them a quick painless death. Just because plants aren't able to emote doesn't mean they aren't any less alive. Also, as I stated before, you are still directly responsible for the deaths of animals. Maybe you result in less than I do, but that doesn't make you any less of a "murderer".

I love in Thailand and the food I eat is of very high quality and made in a very clean professional manner. Personally nothing you eat is "pure".

However, in the spirit of open debate I will watch your video . . .
TheJudoKevin 2 months ago
@MickeyGunz72 OK, thats 9:39 of my life I won't get back. The majority of the vid is him listimng whathe thinks are clean and unclean - never mind the dsicrepencies of bats not being birds, and the mixture of hooved animals for no apparent reason. Regardless, his position is that J said to keep the commandments in Matthew 5:19, then argues that this applies to dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, it is unclear whether he considers all of the rules given in Lev and Duet.
TheJudoKevin 2 months ago
@MickeyGunz72 He also mentions Matthew 15, 10-11 - what goes into one's mouth does not defile him - then completely ignores that statement and argues that you are "saying" something to god when you don't adhere to the diet, apparently on reference to the second half of 15:10-11.
The man's idea is not internally consistent with any the plain wording of the scripture - indeed, I cannot even tell what denomination he is actually speaking about. Can you enlighten me?
TheJudoKevin 2 months ago
@MickeyGunz72 Never mind. Went to his channel - he thinks teh new world order is real, and that Paul was a fake apostle.
I would actually agree that Paul is fake - I've always been amazed that christians believe such clap trap. Then again, his writings are the earliest, by about 40 years, making it more likely that the Jeebus myth from the synoptic gospels and John are extrapolations on Paul. There also is a problem since Acts - which is all Paul - was written by Luke. Oops
TheJudoKevin 2 months ago
@shamzillah Again fail. You apparently mean "Yeshua." I would give you kudos for realizing the name Jesus is a bastardization of Yeshua, but you made up your own spelling using two separate words. Do you know anything about your own religion? If you did, you would know that Romans 14:14-23 is considered to remove the old dietary purity restrictions. Finally, wild shrimp eat mostly plankton and algae - NOT shit. However, the bible says you can eat a grasshopper in the OT. FAIL

@TheJudoKevin how did they say James in Hebrew? Jesus's brother was named James.
Axbent 2 months ago
@Axbent It snot a question of saying the name in another language. Its abolout the changing of the same name throug its travels among other languages. Anyway, according to wiki, FWIW:
The name James is derived from the same Hebrew name as Jacob, meaning "Supplanter" (in the Genesis narrative, Jacob was born grasping Esau′s heel and later bought his birthright).
TheJudoKevin 2 months ago
@TheJudoKevin many thanks, very interesting!
Axbent 2 months ago

Manofheart777 4 months ago
@Manofheart777 What the hell are you talking about? Before the FDA and in the book the Jungle talked about how without regulation in our meat there was literally a huge amount of feces and piss in it among other things.
During 1906 EVERYONE hated the government but they even they wouldn't allow this to happen to their food and so the FDA was created.
What you're talking about is money in politics which comes from Corporations donating to Politicans which we CAN create laws against
tj203 4 months ago
@tj203 Yeah, those are obvious fallacies that obviously where created to justify the creation of big government ether by the events of that time or after it. So ether it was staged in some form, or the fallacies where created to justify. The reason why we can confidently know that is simply to look at history before that time even all the way back as far as we know. So what they're saying is throughout human history, it was widely accepted until that time.. No man, this is pure politics. cont.>
Manofheart777 4 months ago
@tj203 (2)People where not stupid until that time, no, this stuff was even in the Bible about clean and unclean food. So clean food is what's desired. Free markets and fraud prevention always too care of these things through time. If your meat is not good quality, people will go to the farmer in some other place to get there quality meat. If you commit fraud by not telling the truth to consumers about whats in your meat, you go to jail. But now the FDA undermines those principles. cont.>
Manofheart777 4 months ago
@Manofheart777 (3)You have the government giving huge farm subsidies so that the farms stay in business no matter what the consumer thinks. We no longer control whats on the shelves of the grocery stores. Then if some farmer decides he will mix some chemical that harms reproduction in humans to create more meat, we have to go to the government to have it stopped, but guess what, we find out the corporate farms (they're corporate now because are the government pays for that) are in control cont.>
Manofheart777 4 months ago
@tj203 (4) The corporate farmers are in control of the FDA, because the FDA is no more than a bureaucracy like the DMV, or welfare. And when fighting the corporate farmers, we find that they are more robust and carry more power because they're rich, we could never get enough backing to remove that unwanted chemical. So really, we are all back to square one except worse now because at least we had power before to just hire another farmer. Government is the problem. Ron Paul 2012 watch what u read

Trickishismael360 4 months ago
@Trickishismael360 lol.. What does Christians have anything to do with this? Dude, seems you have a problem. Remember Hitler man.. lol
Manofheart777 4 months ago
@Manofheart777 The problem is that in the same text that condemns homosexuality. It says in the bible that Shellfish shouldn't be eaten. But you never hear how they want to stop that. So it shows how Christians pick and choose.
Trickishismael360 4 months ago
@Trickishismael360 hmmm.. interesting. If you where really sincere with what you are saying, you would look into it a little further. You are talking about the matter of the law. The matter of the Old Testament law to the Jews which talks about clean and unclean food. There is spiritual symbolism and instruction here for people who are spiritual. When Jesus died and resurrected, he revealed the law was talking about him. But New Testament is the laws of Heaven. A man is to have only one wife.
Manofheart777 4 months ago
@Trickishismael360 The nature of New Testament and Old is different. The old, God choose to speak through his people Israel. So everything they did, what they ate and didn't eat, their Holy days, how they build there city was all apart of the spiritual teachings that weren't fully revealed until the time of the Holy Spirit. They New Testament, God choose to speak to us directly through his Son and through the Holy Spirit. So he didn't use physical practices to teach people anymore.
Manofheart777 4 months ago
@Manofheart777 That's why people work on Saturdays, and Sundays too. Because it's not about days anymore, nether is it about what food you eat. But the matter of homosexuality is about lust. He created our body parts including the chemistry and the psychological aspects for reproduction. That's why even a man and a woman can be found sinning even in there marriage life. So don't get it twisted. It's a matter of what you live for, God, or yourself. Only two ways you can go. No picking and choosin

Actually, that story pretty much set my non-belief in stone (pun intended).

shanadorobins 3 months ago
@iz2sicc all healthy eco systems need "garbage disposals" or the crap and dead bodies pile up leading to disease, etc. using simple logic, what would you do with the waste you produced if you didn't have plumbing? hyenas, pigs, shrimp, catfish, certain microbes, etc are necessary to recycle and breakdown waste. I will never understand how simple logic is beyond understanding.
thesuperfe 3 months ago
@thesuperfe Who said I don't understand that logic? I take that logic a step further and apply it to the absurdity of a religious belief in an invisible omnipotent being. I also use this very logic to understand that these "garbage disposal" animals have a filtering system just like we do. Take a look at all the crap human beings take in like breathing toxic air. Does that make us dirty? Sorry bud, I'll continue eating shrimp because I know their body filters out the garbage they eat.
iz2sicc 3 months ago
@iz2sicc plants filter CO2 and turn it into oxygen. funny thing photosynthesis...producing all that dangerous oxygen. certain animals, like oh say scavengers do not filter all things that can b fatal 2 humans. ex pigs carry a specific parasit that lays eggs in your brain and can kill u, transferable by touching raw pork. while others carry parasites normal for their diet that will NOT kill u if ingested. sometimes logic means u need 2 do some research.
thesuperfe 3 months ago
@thesuperfe And if I were you, I'd stop eating plants and all other animals for that matter if you want to stick by your flawed logic. Plants filter out our air of carbon monoxide and other pollutants. Also keep in mind that manure is good for plant growth. I will never understand how simple logic is beyond understanding.
iz2sicc 3 months ago
@iz2sicc plants dont filter manure. bugs and micro-organisms that live in soil breakit down into elemnts plants can absorb. some animals, because of their natural diet and digestive systems, will not only consume what is fatal 2 humans but not "filter" it. if forced to eat what's not natural to them their systems dont work properly at alland all kinds of stuff gets thru 2 humans, ex rGBH. is your poo just the food u ate, filtered? i guess common sense isnt that common

@ShatterState Do you not see the difference between the life of a plant compared to that of an animal/fish? It's quite obvious they're not the same. Learn to care about other beings.
Rachel42910 5 months ago
@Rachel42910 You can take care of the animals, give them an enjoyable healthy life devoid of the stress of being hunted by predators and always having to search for food, and then give them a quick painless death. Just because plants aren't able to emote doesn't mean they aren't any less alive. Also, as I stated before, you are still directly responsible for the deaths of animals. Maybe you result in less than I do, but that doesn't make you any less of a "murderer".
