@jerry250ify Friday the 13 is the day in the year 2029, 13 April is the day the Earth Orbit intersect with Apophis orbit, and this one happens to be Friday,
Very interesting. Although i do have some limited knowledge of this particular asteroid, it is always desirable to see your excellent videos explain the matter in greater detail.
@AKTVUK Thanx friend...yes its a new NEO (Near Earth Object) Asteroid, discovered in 2004 and it comes to close every 7-8 years, but the one in 2029 comes too close ...although its said it wont hit Eath then, but that does not hide the fact that it will one day for sure, as it share Earth Orbit every 13 April...the one on 2029 happens to be Friday the 13th. LOL
one good new its small in size 270 m across, not big enough to cause exticion but big enoug to destroy a city or cause giant Sunami !
@Bosman1745 I just hope so too, the last time comet Elenic passed closed by Earth nearer than the moon, it broke up when passed by the Sun, and would not be a big threat to Earth as it used to be, lets hope Apophis passes us by safely..
Hello friend thanks for sending your very interesting work!!! Ho many probability for the impact? with this Asteroid ? APOPHIS !!! I think minimum!! Tell me the probability of the impact again the EARTH !!! Great video!!! congratulation pier
@piergiorgiovico Thanx friend, the trouble with this Asteroid its crossing Earth orbit, and comes very close on many occasions. now according to Astronomers the 2029 & 2036 close encounters dont impact earth, but that does not mean it wont Impact Earth in the future. the crossing point is called Apophis Ascending node and is on 13 April each year, so if Apophis happens to be there as it does every 7-8 years, then trouble. the only good thing its a small one only 270 meters across.
@KurdstanPlanetarium ...Yes I do don't impact the Earth...but they are minimun probability!!! I don't remember now... thanks dear friend for your really explication...best wishes...
@RexBlazzer099 I hope its easy to destroy them, the problem when on collision course, they still hit Earth even as millions of tiny pieces, though that is much better than one giant piece hit Earth...
other solution is considering altering its cours, how easy to do that? it has never been tried...
america would be barmy not to send a missile at it.

If anything, by then NASA will figure out a way to either shift it off course or (more unlikely than shifting it off course), blow it up.
