  • Looks like Squallie. That was a fun ride in 09'.

I have a video of that on my page for 09'. Big shout to Chuck! He needs to come to Ohio and ride with us sometime. :-)

  • Nice vid and some TOUGH terrain. The worst thing we deal with around here is a lot of loose sand, but at least it is soft when you hit the ground.

lol @ the guy on the yellow Strom wearing jeans and sneakers. He must have crapped himself when he saw wearing you were riding!

  • Great technical ride guys. If you ever get out to AZ, check out Box Canyon down by Florence AZ. I agree with ricksteven... used to ride a KLX250s in box and now ride a new KLR. Waitin for to age a little before I take to box canyon because I know it'll never look the same after :-)

  • really nice vid man thank you for posting

  • What trail/road is this?

  • I ride a KLR and a WR250R. Would have taken the WR on this run!

  • It wasn't the V-strom that spilled his trunk. Someone should tell that guy that V-stroms really aren't that sort of DS bike. Looks like some really rocky trails there...

  • Looks like my kind of fun! Wish I had the time to ride down there to ride with ya'll.

  • Stand up and floor it!

  • Squllie looks like it was in pretty good shape that day, lol. Try it in the rain some day!

  • Was the KLR a handfull? I'm curious I own a 2000 and, a gravel pit just opened near us as a public rv park.

  • What happened to the guy on the V-Strom? Did he drop out?

  • @aerhearts yep he droped out just after his trunk spilled it guts

  • I thought it was the guy ahead of the V-Strom that spilled the contents of his trunck. It looked like a redish KLR? Wasn't the V-Strom yellow? At any rate, it looked like that trail was too rough for a bike as heavy as a V-Strom.

  • Looks like some good technical stuff, love it! "He who keeps feet on pegs, doen`t loose traction"....have fun!

  • i agree, some of these people need to learn to stand up

  • When is the next ride? Looks like a lot of fun . I would like to join in on the next one if I could ? I ride a xr65L from souther IL. and looking for rides like this one to go on .

  • Looks like Chuck was there, so I know you had fun :) Was that Squalie you were riding?

  • Riding over wet slippery rocks or muddy terrain is harry. You have to take it nice and easy.

  • What's the music? Great video!

  • 1:41 lol

  • man, that one hill had a stream. talk about slick! Dual Sports are the best. After the ride, you can just ride it to the store or home or anywhere

  • When is the next time you plan on going out. I stay in Knoxville and have a DRZ400. I try and ride any chance I get.

  • we will be there easter weekend, and base out of the Iron horse lodge

  • What are the rules of a dual sport event?

  • not sure what kind of "rules" your talking about?

  • Are they timed, or do you have to finish first? I ride Hare Scrambles. Thanks for responding.

  • No competition, there just fun runs. Hangin' out with your buddies and riding around makin' fun of each other. You know dumb stuff :)

  • Hey, that's not dumb that's when I have the most fun. That's when your buddies will stop and help you when you crash. Thanks for sharing the vid!

  • I'm thinking about getting one. Seems like a lot of fun!!!

  • LOL at the guy with the stuff coming out of the KLR tail bag.

Props to the guy on the V-Strom taking a street bike up that section.

You boys have some nasty terrain out there, most people would not take the dual sports through that stuff. My hats off to ya.
