  • tres belle chanson a l epoque la suisse avait 3 choix de langue desormais aujourd hui l anglais est omnipresent et ne donne rien

  • @94yd because that were better songs?!

Finland very bad, also Norway, Belgium and Switzerland are ok but unspectacular

  • eine starke Stimme

  • Love this song and love the frock..!! xx

  • yes , an old fashioned song !

  • Very strange results that year: How can Ireland and the UK score higher than Belgium, Finland, Switzerland and Norway, for instance?

  • @94ayd Maybe because they were sung in English? It's probably cynical of me to think that but it's the best explanation I can come up with. Let's not forget how much a difference the language has always made, and of how strong the field of 1974 was.

  • Finland and Norway were in English. X-D Belgium was French which has always been popular. This one is probably at the biggest disadvantage language-wise. I believe it's most because of the countries and these were not among the most beloved ones back then (some remain rather unpopular nowadays). This is one of the best songs in German in the contest, probably. :-) It's the dress that bothers the eye. X-D
