  • wow espn wow, shows how smart you are, or is it just the disney backing, the New Jersey devils are not named after "satan" theyre named after the new jersey devil, a fictional monster believed to live in south jersey, either way they fail

  • one team.. named after a kids movie aww how cute...the other... NAMED AFTER SATAN!!!! hahaa

  • Man I was SO upset when Anahiem lost. They deserved that cup. They worked thier butts off all playoffs long and they really deserved that cup. Especially Giguere. Everyone (except Melrose of course) kept talking about Brodeur this Brodeur that, and honestly Giguere outplayed him. Dang it still makes me mad every time I think of how they lost.

  • no they didnt devils are the best

  • I miss the old Sportscenter (better Bristol set and the theme wasn't all heavy metal like it is now).

  • Ah the days where ESPN was true to its roots and covered hockey. Unfortunatley evil descended upon Bristol, CT four years ago and changed a once hockey-driven station (especially during the mid 90s to early 2000s) into a shallow, NFL and NBA driven MTV type station. I have noticed ESPN paying more attention to the NHL, we may be on our way back. I cannot believe Melrose picked the Ducks as the favorite, ESPN is owned by ABC, not a shock that they picked their little franchise. GO DEVILS

  • Understandable on Melrose's part. The Ducks swept Detroit, had their way for the most part with Dallas, and gave up only 1 goal in 4 games against Minnesota. The Devils had an easy first two rounds, but lost a 3-1 lead against Ottawa and had to win game 7 on the road.
