Aluminium has 4 x the reflective properties than any other metal or compound ie Condensation, so spraying it from planes reflects 4 x more light back into space from the exspanding aluminium. When the light hits the aluminium particalls it reflects it outwards but may also reflect the underside or the shadow side or the partical this is then in turn reflected of more aluminium particals producing the beam.

The dark are areas with less water so they don't look like clouds. Scale that up to the sky and you see some areas with water and some that do not. More air-traffic means an increase in humidity which would increase the chances of persistent contrails, if I understand the physics correctly. Whether or not this increase in humidity would be significant enough to make a difference, I don't know but more traffic definitely means more contrails, a proportion of which will persist.

Why might that increase availability of photos, do you think?

Aluminium has 4 x the reflective properties than any other metal or compound ie Condensation, so spraying it from planes reflects 4 x more light back into space from the exspanding aluminium. When the light hits the aluminium particalls it reflects it outwards but may also reflect the underside or the shadow side or the partical this is then in turn reflected of more aluminium particals producing the beam.

The dark are areas with less water so they don't look like clouds. Scale that up to the sky and you see some areas with water and some that do not. Then add water from a plane and it pushes the no cloud to a cloud in the no cloud area....an artificial cloud if you will.........that was a mouth full

@jambuckerwarblast - I know what a labradoodle is and the point wasn't to make a valid argument that a poodle isn't a dog but to echo the style of claim you're making when you try to claim that there is a difference between what you identify as contrails and what you identify as chemtrails. I am using the same style of argument. If a "chemtrail" isn't a contrail then a poodle isn't a dog by the same argument. Is your argument valid or not? If it is, then a poodle isn't a dog.

Because this particular chemtard was searching for bullshit and typed in "black beams", he found my video and decided to post his own video as a response to mine.

@frostek - I spent a long time in PM trying to direct him to useful information about volumetric shadows but he continually insisted that anything he was shown was "government disinformation", avoided reading it and told me to open my closed mind. From time to time, he thanks me and says that he'll read what he's being shown and then later returns with more claptrap, demonstrating that he's not absorbed anything and the process starts all over again. This pattern is still continuing to this day.

@frostek - I was planning on creating a spoof video pointing at cumulus clouds and re-iterating the chemtrail claims... until I found out that a number of chemtards also think that the good old fluffy clouds are also some kind of government weapon. Human stupidity knows no bounds.

@RoadRunnerLaser @hauserkaspar Find me picture between 1970 and 1980 with a sky full of contrails and I believe there's nothing going on. I tried and failed. Something must have changed. Please don't come with the argument there were less planes in the sky. 1 Plane can make a contrail too. There must be some in old western movies. You couldn't make a western today. Looks a bit funny over John Wayne's hat. Perhaps contrails just stick around more then they used to. Even my old mom noticed.

@hauserkaspar - What has changed? 2 things mainly. 1) An increase in the amount of air-traffic. 2) The type of engines used in today's commercial airliners.
However, persistent contrails have been described, documented and photographed for at least 40 years. They aren't new, just increasingly more common.
There are computers in the majority of homes these days, whereas this was not the case 20 years ago. Does that indicate foul-play or conspiracy? No. It's just a product of progress.

Contrails are clouds, not smoke Just like cumulus. Contrails form from water. You too could acquire this knowledge and when you know just how easy it is to acquire and how it has been understood for many years, you'll realise why chemtards are worthy of ridicule. Meteorology is very important to air-traffic. Is it so hard to understand that an industry which needs weather reports for the safety of their cargo and passengers would pay for the personnel providing that information?
If I'd found a house-full of computers in 1970, I'd have been rather surprised. Times change and our observations also change accordingly.

@hauserkaspar - Even piston engines can create contrails. Politicians, like scientists, rarely talk about Santa and the Tooth-Fairy. Does that suggest some kind of conspiracy or strategic denial?
I recommend that you educate yourself about contrail formation as it seems that you don't know how they are formed.
Less cars means FEWER tracks, not NO tracks at all. Fewer planes means fewer contrails. Different engines are less or more likely to produce persistent contrails.

For the record, do I think that an increase in cloud-cover due to heavy air-traffic is not a problem? No. I think it IS a problem but that doesn't mean that I think we are being sprayed as per the "chemtrail" claims.

@RoadRunnerLaser There is spraying going on without any doubt but I too do not believe that what we are seeing is are the actual experiments. This does not mean 'normal' contrails don't have an effect on the weather and 'normal' contrails can't be used to alter it.
The problem I have with your video is that you ridicule one person's wrong view and conclude that therefore large scale aerosol spraying is an impossibility. That is a fallacy .

@hauserkaspar - I didn't suggest that normal contrails don't have an effect on the weather however, I highly doubt that contrails are USED to alter it, I think it is an unfortunate and incidental consequence, not one which is actively employed for that purpose.

@hauserkaspar - In fact, after giving it some more thought, more air-traffic WOULD possibly mean that more contrails would be persistent. Jet exhaust contains water. More air-traffic means an increase in humidity which would increase the chances of persistent contrails, if I understand the physics correctly. Whether or not this increase in humidity would be significant enough to make a difference, I don't know but more traffic definitely means more contrails, a proportion of which will persist.

@hauserkaspar - Another logical fallacy you made was to equate an absence of evidence to evidence of absence. I looked in my garden for diamonds and found none. I didn't find gold, either. Should I conclude that there are no diamonds or gold to be found anywhere? I've seen pictures of persistent contrails taken 4 decades ago and I remember persistent contrails from my early school-days. These days lots of people have digital cameras. Why might that increase availability of photos, do you think?

@hauserkaspar - If you don't realise that someone filming a "western" would deliberately avoid including contrails because to do so would make the movie somewhat anachronistic, then you really are beyond help and you are presenting something known as "selection bias". I can take photographs of the sky completely devoid of contrails without resorting to any post-production. The sky isn't as full of trails as you would appear to be claiming.

During summer you will hardly get a sunburn anymore. Blue skies have become rare. Blue-ish maybe. No go watch old movies again. See if there is 40 years of research into persistent contrails. There was no sky wide covering checkerboard for 20 years ago.

Even in Scotland, I see blue skies, in fact, the picture I used in this video was specifically taken because it contained contrails and I rarely see persistent ones where I live. If sunburn is no longer an issue, why is sun-cream such a huge industry?
There IS a lot of research into contrails stemming back over 40 years and I've told you where to start looking for it. More traffic = More contrails - Does that surprise you?
