@shifter614 Actually it doesn't matter because getting the arm over your head is the easy part. The hardest part is getting your arm out of one of the sleeves. If it's properly fitted it gets caught under the armpit.

you can fake it and he did!! notice that he wrapped his own arms instead of them doing it? houdini wore it properly by crossing his arms and intertwining them just like they do with real psyhos. criss angel doesnt do that hence how he does it so much faster then houdini did. houdini had to dislocate his shoulder to do it properly. criss does not have to. hes cheating it and i dont like that he claims to do it like houdini cuz he doesn't!!

@slientcena It's simply a matter of getting one's arms over one's head. All regulation straitjackets have a pair of belt-loop style straps under the arms, and usually a heavier, similar strap on the chest. The sleeves, when properly fastened pass through those, which prevents you getting your arms over your head. Look at the straitjacket in the video - no such straps. The slider buckles make it slightly more difficult, but essentially - hell, *I* can do that trick.

@XxA55H0L3xX I seriously doubt he's using a gimmicked straitjacket. I use a regulation straitjacket, properly fitted (like Criss) and can escape in less than 30 seconds but take 2 minutes for my show.
