  • EPIC

  • Awesome , totally rad how yours can perform more than 1 function at a time

  • i want to buy one . so if i add the powerfunctions only do it work than better ?

  • Ya know the manuel says dont put on sand

But who gives a shit about it!

  • can you put 2/4 xl-motors in without/ with only litte modifiecations in that set or do you have to modified much? please answer.

  • Hi,

was ist das für ein tolles Lied zu dem Video ?

  • my batteries run dry very fast is this normal??

  • @rvandervelde0

try a li-po of 11,1 volts look at the results at my mage or seargh 8043 li-po

  • Hi - i would love to see a short video explaining the different places you modifed the model...

either when you are out of WIP-state or as we see it in this video

is blazingly fast compared to the lego version.

  • now why didnt lego make it like that coz its so much better

  • @TheMadtrialsbiker

One of the reasons I can think is the price.

For my modification, more than US$100 (about US$120) are required.

If the charger for 8878 is added, it would be over US$150 .

Total price of US$350 or more would be a risk for LEGO sales manager. : )

    Hi,

was ist das für ein tolles Lied zu dem Video ?

  • Is the little guy dancing at the end??? :))) Either way... What's the song?

  • @tofucyborg

    Dancing ? :)

The song is a Korean pop by a famous male singer whose name is Gun Mo Kim

and the title of the song "사랑해" means "I love you"

  • @sunmint1 Well, yeah -- it's spinning and lifting the arm up and down. As close as you'll get to dancing I guess. Thanks for the song name.

  • @tofucyborg

Thank you for explaining. Frankly speaking, I was wondering about the meaning or nuance of the expresstion "Is the little guy dancing at the end??? :)))"

It's because I am not a native speaker of english.

Now I understand what you meant : )

  • one of first page of instruction manual say" Don't use this model on sand" :D

  • @BubuSnow93

    Sometimes, I don't follow the instruction :D

  • Nice mod. One tip: the 8-tooth gears are not strong enough to handle the power of XL-motors. I would advise using 12 and 20 tooth double bevel gears and/or 16-tooth gears only.

  • @Rhodeslover1

Thank you for your advice and praise. : )

I chose 8 tooth - 24 tooth combination just because it gave nice speed of the tracks. The axle was not firmly held and the 8 tooth gear got damaged. I should fix this first. And then, I will try other gear combinations.

  • Wow, can you show me more detail on the lower part MOD. The original seems to be under powered by the gears. I did think of modding the motors to function individually without going through many gears but adding additional XL motors and receivers was out of my mind. Great job

  • @Yakimurai

Thank you for your interest and praise. : )

Because this is still WIP, I did not take detailed photos yet. But, you can see some more on my brief explanation in BrickInside, a South Korean LUG.

I will tell you the URL by personal message.(Maybe the URL cannot be posted here)

After the run, two 8 tooth gears for driving got damaged. I should make more corrections and modifications.
