  • might want to try RC cars or trucks after seeing that scrap yard lol

  • Always buy american made products. Their built to last, stronger and way better quality.

  • You could give it an epoxy finish. That will give it a better structural strength.

  • where are the new videos?

  • and here is the proof: look closly at the wing during 4:44

  • i take my words back, it is definitly a air rifle

  • if you went faster during the fall maybe before that you pulled the airframe weak with g forses

  • I didn't see a chute! Did the pocket size pilot make it?

  • i reckon it was hit with an air rifle you can even hear the ping from a pellet hitting it and the inner part of the right wing it looks like an impact point

  • @TheBlackcrow1234 if you look at the inner side of the right wing break it does look like an impact mark maby a air rifle

  • not fine, not ok, i dont think your good lol

  • too bad a real USAF jet would last longer then what your jet did but was an amazing show

  • EJECT EJECT EJEC.............Awwwww

  • -did you get it on video?

    ya

    youtube time!

  • can i have your junk planes w/ controller??thx man

  • @TheBlackcrow1234 do you think at that speed, even a very good sniper can't touch even a tip of the wings!!!use ur brain!!! LOL!!

  • Maybe stay away from EPP foam and stick to EPO.

  • Lol, flying, flying, hey look a bird in the sky *accidentally preses self destruct button* Oops....

  • that why i dont use china products

  • @y5o3615 did you learn english in china?

  • what gule are u using?????????

  • "and see how it fires"

  • nice plane but it sucks how it blew up

  • thats what you get for buying name brand crap lol. It all comes from the same place. CHINA!

  • that sounds very bad

    return it

  • that sounds very bad

  • I THOUGH IT WILL BE A REAL PLANE CRASH!!!

  • Got that on camera ?

Yea . BULL CRAP I CANT SEE THE EXPLOsioN

THATS WHAT YOU GET FROM USING A FEMALE TO FILM .

  • cant believe she missed the damn explosion...

  • what glue did you use?lol

  • ITS A CONSPIRACY BY CASSY!!!

  • i just love ur car ( Subaru) :)

  • @patwill0007 :) just traded it in for a Jeep hehe, but I do love subaru's still!

  • thats what you get with foam

  • thats why if my plane sounds "sick" or "funny" i just land it and check it out..

  • @metaknight95 funny sound had nothing to do with the foam... that is just the sound dual EDF's make.

  • how much did this cost?

  • @steezyskiier1 just the body kit was a little over $100. Then all the electronics, probably another $250. All the electronics were still good and reused.

  • NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have a female take video! They will always either be too shakey, miss the shot, or be out of focus (like in this case) and miss the money shot. Lesson learned...I hope.

  • @HappySCVResident gtfo out of here sexism isnt appreciated.

  • thats why you shouldnt use foam body models! they suck ass get one with an actual motor and a metal body plus they go so much faster

  • just cover the wings with tape and try again

  • It clearly broke at the glue joint. Clean breaks.... Poor glue on one vert stab, and high stress riser on the wing. It's a clean break. Poor building. I've been scratch building for 34 years; never had that happen.

  • Hi. Could you please tell me what motor and battery setup you are using in this jet? Thanks!

  • @brohoop delta v 4000kv 65mm E-flite motor and fan units. And I was using two 2200mAh 30C 4cell lipos.

  • @earthling1984 Thanks!

  • @earthling Ooopse! Sorry! I guess it's a good idea to watch the whole video before asking stupid questions. Sorry 'bout that! And sorry about your loss. =)

  • could i have your broken planes lol

  • Just glue the wing back on and use some kind of coating on it to make it more stronger.

  • wow such an easy reapair.

  • if you look..the glue held on just fine

  • too much stress on the airframe

  • @lightswitch94 I used recommended setup. If I rebuild I will re-inforce it better though.

  • @earthling1984 I see that the epoxy did not let go. This probably means that the foam wings weren't strong enough for that high of g-loading.

  • @lightswitch94 it needs more carbon bracing for high speed.

  • 0:57 yeah just put your face right into the aferburner.....

  • Call Horizon Hobby and talk to tech support or talk to that John Redmond guy and show them the video. They might replace the plane. Sounds like the plane should be recalled. I would never buy that plane after seeing your video. Plane needs to be beefed up with carbon.

  • You could totally hear the wing crack.

  • @squishyblanket yeah, you could actually! At the field it sounded like a firecracker! It picked up on cam, but not nearly as loud as in real life. It made a really loud pop when it fell apart mid air.

  • this is why u dont buy e-fail an parkpoop rip off HH crud

good to see hobbyking sticking it up HH an mass producing clone dsm2 rx an tx's come that mr booker!

  • @JuKYuK187 I admit this single plane from HH did fail. Out of all the planes/helicopters I have purchased from HH, this is the only one that had a problem. Not bad at all. Out of all the BH/NP/HK planes I have purchased, ALL have failed. I'll stick with HH! You seem to know a lot about Hobbies, and the way you comment, I highly doubt you know me. But if you do, please PM me your name/what school you attended.

  • @earthling1984 which NP/BH planes did you fly? The EDF or prop planes?

  • @d2dap636 mostly their jets.

  • That's what you get for buying a polystyrene plane :) I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands! Bit of carbon fibre rod and some glass cloth here and there!

  • that first roll was clean and awesome!!

  • cool sunglasses :D

  • you turned to sharp!

  • @willitcrash Lol no,not too sharp. Was a wide turn and only 50% throttle

  • Thanks for buying all of the defective products, so the rest of us get the up-to-par ones.

    LOL! JK!

    That was weird!

    Almost looked like a bird-strike!

  • Oh No!! I wasn't expecting that. Sry for your loss :(

  • what actually exploded?

was it what the guy in the beginning was talking about

  • Without a doubt, I'm trying to buy another heli or plane without my fiancé knowing, cause I supposed to be saving all my money for when my baby is born but I just want a heli or a plane to keep mms busy I have been looking at the sr or the messerschmitt! What one do you think I should get/ have more fun with till my baby arrives?

  • Nice video, But that is not how you spell explode.

  • @TheIndoorFllyer1 just a type, and thanks for pointing that out so I could fix it :)

  • @earthling1984 Yay! Sorry your F-15 exploded XD

Did you end up fixing it?

  • @TheIndoorFllyer1 I will be getting an E-flite Super Airliner to use the electornics in :)

  • @earthling1984 I can't wait to see the super airliner!

  • @earthling1984 Awesome. Good luck!

  • Repair it!

Add carbon spars in the wings and stabs and packing tape on all leading edges. You should be good to go.

  • I think the plane went through sound barrier :D

On serious note, might be the vibrations; on the ground didn't sound right

  • Dude idk but you really do have some bad luck when it comes to getting new planes and such

  • @NJRCFLY well many of my last planes were Bananahobby and Nitroplanes products, and yes, all of them have had problems. As for my E-flite products, all of them have worked great(except this F-15, it is the first one that had a major problem...). I will stick with Horizo Hobby though, I've had the best luck with their quality products.

  • maybe banana hobby or nitroplanes shot in down out of spite

  • @vfrvtec what you mean?

  • Guess it wasn't alright then, haha.

    3:51 broken flipflop? :P

    That's hardcore though.

  • lol that was funny...0:56 .did he say what i think he said?,I love flying with the older guys around, really makes flying/socializing great.

    Too bad about the Plane...

  • @eastcoast78 lol, they were telling me to turn on the fan/motor as he was looking in the exhaust ;p I didn't do it though cus I didn't want him to drop my plane.

  • are you shur you dint have a mid air witha sparrow or something

  • @Aircraftfreak155 lol, maybe? I don't see anything in the vid, but maybe lol

  • Nice!

  • Wow, that was crazy, you should forward this video to HH

  • very nice just sucks the planes gone now. but atleast you have alot of RCs

  • I lol'd sooo hard at your legs/soxs at 3:29

Different dressing styles I guess :P

  • @Young1Bloodz lol, don't laugh at me :( These socks are comfortable!!! hehe

  • so many planes just suck either the foam fails or your electronics will it seems inevitable with like 90% of rc planes. The pilot error crashes are so rare whens the last time you crashed a plane and it was your fault?

  • Hope you didnt loose all youre money from this plane and get some refund..

  • @luskedyret the hardware/electornics are all just fine, they are the expensive part

  • that sucks!

  • I'd be asking for a refund from E-Flite. Having the control surfaces fail with the reccomended setup is their responsibility.

    Cheers.

PS.. One jet I won't be buying.

  • crash=better video

  • no i think that the plane itself the foam was held in he bx for such a long time tha the foam became weaker and to me it looks more like styrofoam not z foam so that might also be one reason

  • Oh Man! Thanks for posting your maiden mishap, Earthling1984. Some folks only post their successes, but I find there is more to learn from the mishaps and consequent investigations than from flights that go off without a hitch. Respect for *keepin it real!*

  • man your nice new jet. :(

  • now meh tits r supa hard

  • See HH isnt the best, Just looks like Banana Hobby shit

  • @p3x197 hardware didn't fail like BH, but yes, the plane did 'explode'. This is an older kit, over 2 years old. I'll stick with their newer products.

  • poor plane look great then boom lol

  • That was cool!

Sorry about the plane though =(

  • @AnimalGalaxy

    jet

  • @AnimalGalaxy Lol, Same thing

  • I saw your radian in your graveyard is it broken?

  • @slyfoxflyer66 no the radian is just fine, it is just sitting there.

  • @earthling1984 ok haha good

  • stop using stryo

  • if you plan on fixing this plane, here is a tip I use on foam planes, i take some glue get some tooth picks and rub glue on the tooth picks the poke them half in the broken park the put the broken off part (with the tooth pick in it) on the fuselage. Worked on my T-28, Good luck!

  • Hey bud looks like the you should of lightly sanded the tail joint . I`m thinking it came apart at the tail and the rest is crash damage. I have seen this happen before with RTF kits. The kit planes come with painted parts and the paint must be sanded off at the gluing joints. Notice at 4:23 the right stab is completely clean, except for the slot. So I would say only the slot held the stab and the glue suck to the painted surface. You can see some of the paint still in the joint. Awe sorry bud.

  • @lewandlo thanks for the tip. Both vertical stabs and one wing fell off in the air. They were over 20 feet from the fusalage. I will do what you suggest in any future builds though!
