  • THANKS!!

  • Looking back, i can`t believe how lucky i was.I was able to see the Airplane perform live on 5 different occassions at The Fillmore East and Central Park as the Starship.. One of the greatest Rock and Roll bands ever...BTW: Tickets were $5.00 and you could sometimes stay for the early and late shows. The late shows would go on until the wee hours...:+))

  • Yeah, compare classy Grace to the trash that sings today.

  • I am here for the music. HONEST, but she's a babe xxx Grace

  • Hot Dog, now that's a woman.

  • she is just amazing.. so is jack and Jorma

  • Super post! Good video and outstanding music. "Doesn't mean shit to a tree" sums up a lot.

  • this is not so rare: it's on the dvds "a night at the family dog" and "fly jefferson airplane"

  • i love u grace!

  • Such a hard song to get pitch perfect live. Man, they always nailed it though. At this point they were the best band in the world; within a couple of years they dropped way down the rankings. What was it? Change of drugs or change of drummer? Probably both. Still, what they put out in that golden period makes them easily one of the top 5 bands of all time. No argument. Cheers for the upload, dude. Top quality all round.

  • very nice indeed

  • "A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far Far Away..." They will soon die of old age. The guy who turned me on to acid and the Jefferson Airplane died of a brain tumor and I miss him and my dad.

  • Fucking amazing. In the and of the clip you can see some girl crazydancing in the back, and it's awesome. May them fly forever [2]

  • The Woodstock version of this song (Eskimo Blue Day) is my favorite, but this one is also amazing. One of Grace's best compositions. Jefferson Airplane, may they fly forever!

  • OMG...utube Izzzzzzzzz a time machine, 4 real. thank u for this post it is clean and clear as a bell. gr8 job!!! dam, look at grace slick's eyeballs......talk about dialated pupils LOL

  • Yes my friend! Very good quality! Thank you!

  • I agree. Bark and Long John Silver was lackluster compared to the early Airplane. "Mexico" is one of their more obscure songs but was GREAT . "Have You Seen The Saucers" was another underestimated song. I saw the Starship twice. Once was when GS was really out of control. Later, she lost weight and sobered up, and they played in Irvine Calif., and they were phenomenal. As cool as the early days? Hardly! - But they DID have some absolutely killer songs like "Find Your Way Back" and "Jane".

  • FOLKS - It doesn't get better than this. Paul's quirky & beautiful 12 string riffs shape this song, which is both sentimental and powerful.

  • although this is the time period when they are all coked out of their minds and hated each other. Where's Marty? Grace is blasted out of her mind! This is the last inkling of the true Airplane. Great music, I agree. But this was the end....

  • i second that... where's the fuckin time machine?

  • i wish i had a time machine!!!!!!!

  • I wish time machines had ever existed! D:

  • @PenumbraTheWolf dont be so sure about that! working on one for a long time, but i cant find a "volunteer" to give it a testdrive!!! i wonder why... :))) well red goes here, blue on the right...

  • @4356745 Nope. Don't mess with the timeline. God, as you know, can be a super bitch! She'd have a devil of time to fix back to what it was supposed to be....I'd say consult with Her about a harmless way to do what you have in mind....In any case, I won't fret. The beginning is near......:)!
