  • I love the drama the blue boy wonder puts into it.

  • that was fucking lame

  • its a meatball!

i told you its a meatball

  • 2:46 - Oh yes, the irony of it all...

  • WAIT A SECOND.......WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR MY CEILING AND DOOR????? lol...I love old school Sesame Street. Thanks for posting

  • grover sounds just like Ms Piggy!!!

  • More like Yoda. Frank Oz.

  • Because they're both played by Frank Oz.

  • Voiced by the same man, Frank Oz.

  • Given they are/were both performed by Frank Oz that shouldn't be terribly surprising :)

  • Kind of a woofully feeling? Exactly. :)

  • That little boy is cute.

  • As a kids I always got excited when I saw the intro to Super Grover. Hey , let's make sure Frank Oz knows how much we love him before he passes eh?

  • @toukijinmaster Good idea, though I don't think he'll be passing for quite a while. He's only sixty-six.

  • ah the styrofoam door crash sound is off if u notice

  • I hope Max's Barbershop is insured.

  • What an original name for a kid.

Willie Nillie. Oh my gosh, I'm glad my parents didn't name me that!

  • WTF i love grover but wtf

  • Super Grover is not the sort of person you need around when you are trying to get through to a little kid HaHaHa

Love him though and Frank Oz

  • I just realized that Grover sounds like my dad's late auntie (who is Filipino-American)....is that messed up to say? I LOVE GROVER!

  • yaay i luv super grover

  • We superheroes bruise easily you know...

  • It's Floyd the Barber...but where's Andy and Aunt Bea? :)

  • i always wanted that little muppet kid...

  • i hope he pays for the damage. hahahahahahhahah!!

  • HahA! I used to sit on my Dad's lap when I was very young and pretending I had sissors, used to say "I am just going to cut a little bit of your fur now Grover" and grab his chest hair (as my dad recalls it was quite painful)

  • I love Sesame Street and The Muppets but that kid looks and sounds alot like Butters from South Park.

  • I remember I used to hide my eyes at the part when Grover broke free from the hook and went through the door.

  • I PEED MYSELF WHEN HE HIT THE DOOR!

  • HAHAHA... 2:34 'How come, is dat?' LOL!

  • Grover skits should be on Comedy Central. That would be fuckin cool.

  • I loved Super Grover when I was little!! Very cool :)

  • man i loved this shit when i was a kid

  • Does anyone have the one where the guy is at the barber shop with VERY long hair and gets it cut and it piles so high that it buries his friends? I miss that one.

  • Well... good news and bad news.

That baber clip has been up for quite some time now... but unfortunately, its not in english.

    "Rua Sesamo O Barbeiro"

Anyone know where this can be found in english?

  • They just deleted it and I want it back on YouTube and in english.

  • Super Grover was awesome 30 years ago, and he's still cool today. Super Grover rules!

    Hi Patti & Lori!

  • I think that barber is a little light in the loafers.

  • What makes you say that?

  • Look at that!

    I do not believe it!

That little boy did not even scream out in pain when his hair was cut!

    HOW COME IS THAT????

    SuperGrover at the barbershop

  • My word it's so great to see this again! Super Grover!

  • any other super grover clips out there?

  • so cool, lol

  • Gotta love that line, "we superheroes bruise easily." Super Grover is a mess. Even as a child I used to wonder what was wrong with him. He was so funny.

  • I remember a sketch with Ernie running a barber shop and cutting all of Bert's hair off. Any idea where that one could be?

  • Anyone remember the Sesame Street song with the guy who had hair down to his ankles and after the barber cut his hair he had to rescue his friends from under the hair? "And the barber kept on cutting. and he cut and cut some more, and the hair just kept on piling, higher on the floooor. Snippety snip" HAHAHA Classic!!

  • Oh yeah, I remember that one.

  • God, that image scared me, seeing all his poor friends struggling to get out from under all that hair... but Super-Grover is awesome. I dressed up as him for one Halloween (wearing a collinder) and no one could tell who I was.

  • If you ask me, his friends should have at least tried to run when the hair was piling before it buried them.

  • Aa beautition, I'm kinda dissapointed that the barber had to wait for SG to come in to console the kid! But in his defence, I think he had other things on his mind.. Xanax, anyone? Jeez, a bomb could drop and that barber wouldn't break a sweat!

"How come is that?" What?! I think someone has to go back to english class, *ahem* Grover!

  • this made my day, such an awesome memory, and my son LOVED it!

  • Amazing you do not need a doctor by now Super Grover. as many times as you crash land. Amazing you havent masterd flying too. But then again here is a bird that crash lands the albatross. Are you related to a albatross also called goonie bird?

  • Greast skit, although there was a noticeable delay between crashing through the door and the actual crash sound effect. Not that it takes away from the quality or anything like that. Just an observation. Grover ROCKS!!!

  • Not only that, bi0boy, but the door was *so* obviously polystyrene!

  • That is such a nice way to teach kids not to be afraid of getting a haircut. But why couldn't the barber help the kid feel comfortable before Super Grover showed up? He seemed like a nice enough guy.

  • I think it would've been a good idea if they explained that the reason haircuts do not hurt is because there are no bones in hair.

  • "It's just a haircut, Samson! It won't hurt."

    "Okay, Delilah."

  • Grammar? oh my goodness..Hair cuts do not hurt but crashing through doors is quite painful

  • "Ignore the ouchness!" This skit really did help me at the barbershop since I HATED to get my hair cut! Sesame Street = GENIUS.

  • Crashing through rooves isn't much fun, either.

  • Hair today, gone tomorrow.

  • While other kids had towels safety pinned to their clothes to be like Superman, I did it to be like Super Grover. But I never tripped like he did thankfully ;)

  • I love the old school super Grover skits :D

  • Classic! This was always my favorite Super Grover sketch.

  • This truly "cuts" the mustard !

  • Love the ending! This one reminds me of a rugrats episode and of another Sesame street skit in which a woman sings about getting her hair cut.
