  • Nice video, but you forgot to mention that most theists follow a holy book that encourages genocide, rape, slavery, murder, and other atrocities and crimes against humanity, which conflicts to a "God of love". To consider that their source of morality comes from this same source is an abomination to the core of human morality. Integrity, and hence morality, does not require faith in God. It does require common sense.

  • Edinburgh once had a famous brothel madame, Dora Noyce, who always maintained that her girls busiest time of the year was when the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland met and the city was full of Christian ministers

  • Your right i dont beleive in god because his ways are tyranny, but i dont beleive he doesnt exist so i can live in sin. i could just say you just cant accept gods not real because you cant handle the fact we might not live forever. but id rather allow to people to beleive in whatever deity they want, because i beleive in freedom of will. another reason i dont beleive in your god is because i've seen 0 proof that he exists, i cant beleive something without proof or good reasoning.

  • Steeler's fan. Nice.

    Scientist. Nice.

    Redneck. Nice.

Referencing VFX and Kent Hovind. Nice.

    Entertaining. Nice.

    Keep up the good job.

  • Funny video!

Why did this god thingie create human's in his image and then all they want to do is to sin, at least the christians?

Why did he create sin and make all the things christians want to do taboo?

Why didn't he create heaven straight away, dump the earth concept and finally destroy hell?

And why isn't he here and answer all those questions in a clear and uncontradictory way, instead of letting laymen and popes interpret the best version of what the god says.

  • Good job man

  • ugh.

  • For all of you who think atheism is a license to sin, you should come to western europe. Especcialy scandinavian countries or the Netherlands. Voted the most happy, peaceful and social countries on earth. And guess what? We've got the highest atheist-rate and lowest crimerate in the world. The fact that atheists are generally a lot more tolerant towards others is because we can't be offended. We use our human morality. Theists often confuse this with arrogance, but it isn't.

  • Noooooo.....people who are educated GENERALLY appear to be. You appear, and claim to be, a "red neck" - are "red necks" normally intelligent or is the common thought that a "red neck" is, well, dumb. I love people, I hate no one. I hate igorance, and the spreading of ignorance. I give thousands yearly to many charities, and hold two masters degrees. People, as I previously stated, are wonderful. I just pity those who don't have the ability to allow the grace of God into their lives.

  • @katrina630G I seem to recall, judge not lest ye be judged. So by assuming that I am dumb or otherwise uneducated, you only show your prejudice and ignorance. Religion is about ignorance, fear and hate. You have to ignore the facts of our existence, you have to fear hell and your gods, you have to believe others will be sent to a hell for all time because they refused to buy your brand of BS. Worst of all, you have to lie to yourself and deny the one life yo have. It is you that I pity.

  • @katrina630G

"I just pity those who don't have the ability to allow the grace of God into their lives."

Before you do that, where is the evidence apart from your personal experience that there is a god. What make you certain that's not Allah, Odin, Zeus or why isn't it the devil that's chewing on your delusional brain.

I pity those who see blind faith as an asset when it's a mental disorder making you gullible, untrustworthy and prone to be taken advantage of.

    So where is the evidence?

  • @katrina630G [people who are educated GENERALLY appear to be.] The key word is "GENERALLY".

[are "red necks" normally intelligent or is the common thought that a "red neck" is, well, dumb.] Stereotypes are GENERALIZATIONS. Even assuming that they NORMALLY are "dumb" does NOT exclude an occasional INTELLIGENT one.

[I give thousands yearly to many charities] I volunteer hundreds of hours yearly. And if I didn't have to pay for college, gas, food, etc. I would give actual money, too!

    (cont)

  • (cont)

[and hold two masters degrees] In what? You can hold a degree in philosophy and not know shit about theology OR mathematics. Hell, Behe is a valid BIOCHEMIST and STILL fails (repeatedly) to understand SIMPLE BIOLOGY. The merit of an academic is NOT their "rank" or "authority" but instead their KNOWLEDGE and IDEAS.

[I just pity those who don't have the ability to allow the grace of God into their lives.] First, you exclude God from the same skepticism you exhibit to other dieties.

  • (cont)

Second, if God had ANY part of ANY atheist's creation, then God PURPOSELY made at least a large portion of atheists not able "to allow the grace of God into their lives". You can see the problem with that and being a source of objective morality.

The third is simply a combination of the two previous problems with your claim. And the fourth is that you ignore any basis for belief in dieties that doesn't allow/force your specific deities to exist.

  • No, whole thing. Yeah, just an idiot. You want to project yourself as "educated" or "learned" but you just look like a slob in a double-wide trailer. And as far as "imagine a world without religion".... it was crazy brainwashed people who caused 9/11 - not religion. Religion has done far more good that harm. It has comforted millions throughout history and continues to do so daily. God exists. "Rise up, O God, and defend your cause; remember how fools mock you all day long." You'll burn.

  • @katrina630G I am an idiot because I live in a trailer and I look like a slob? wow, you really can't think for yourself. You are so full of hate for your fellow humans, it sickens me. This is what religion has done in our world, it has made members of the same species divide in to 1000's of sects all saying their version of a made-up god is better than anyone else's. Religion is hate and fear, you demonstrate this well with your comments.

  • what an idiot

  • @katrina630G why am I am idiot?.....did you watch the whole thing or judge me on the first 58 seconds?

  • @katrina630G i love it. your page says you like "kids in the hall".

    good old christian tv.

  • The part that made me laugh was when you said "I've had a few sexual partners" whilst the camera was pointed at your cat..... I was about to wonder at that point, what you were about to admit to :D haha

  • I think is a sin not to sin.

  • is this video supposed to be offensive

  • @emmy1870 did you watch the whole thing? Did you find it to be offensive?

  • I dont believe in "god" because i find religions are bad. They are the nr.1 killer in all wars. I dont think "war" is a good thing, thats why i dont believe in any "gods".

  • it is a good stance to have!

  • thx :)

  • Well, what the hell is THEIR evidence? A book written by some fanatic Christians?....

  • i know a xian that got fired for looking up porn on the work computer. i think they blow everything so much out of porportion, that everything gives them such a rush. everything's so taboo, that it ignites there actions to a greater lever than would have been had they freely acknowledged the feelings in the first place.

  • I don't drink, smoke, eat meat, have tattoos, etc.

I suppose in many ways I'm living what christians would consider a commendable lifestyle. My mother always says the way I live I should be a monk. There's just that one little issue of lacking any belief.

As you suggest the christians around me have let's just say questionable ethics. At least from what I've seen. I suppose in a religion based on forgiveness you'd better make sure you have something that needs forgiving.

  • true words here, thanks for the comment.

  • THAAAANK YOU!!!!!!! All scientists say that the universe created itself by the "BIG BANG". and they say that that was caused by little atoms that collided. well, my question to those scientists........ What created the atoms???? Think about it.....

  • nothing has to create something else, read up on string theiry, and quantum entanglement. You might be suprised at what happens at the very smallest levels of reality.

No gods needed for any of it either. :)

  • why don't you apply that same argument to your god?

  • i just hope he gives you guys a second chance.

  • lol, you didn't answer my question, i'm not surprised, it's typical of creationists and from somebody who says that they're "too lazy to read books(such as the bible, your god's best seller?)"

how do you expect me to take you seriously?

  • ha thanks for reminding me. Did you know that the Bible is the most stolen book in the world? sorry for the randomness, plus i dont expect you to take me that seriously because im only a 14 year old kid....yes I said kid. Oh, and i have a question for you, if nothing happens after you die, do you fear death?

  • Being dead will be like the billions of years before I was born.- Mark Twain

There is nothing to fear after death, you won't be around to feel it at all.-Me

I was a very strong christian at 14 and beyond. But I kept asking questions and seeking answers, just like you. Be careful or you might become rational and intelligent. :)

    Keep asking questions!

  • lol thanks for the insult.........sorry but i have another question, If our souls are made up of energy, which cannot be destroyed, what your take on reincarnation?

  • i don't fear death mainly because i would probably fear trillions of eons of consciousness more.

the excess energy is probably just absorbed by decomposing organisms after we die, and even at the that, the energy is probably not composed in some way that we are still conscious either

  • good point, thanks for clearing that up! :)

  • Lol. I call Poe's Law on this one. Gold.

  • Very well put.

Are you the Puppetmaster from Heroes season 3?

  • No, I have heard that b4 though...lol

  • its your choice if you believe in god or not jeez

you people make a huge deal about it

  • As you will note, this was a reply, the big deal is made by others, I just choose to not be trampled under foot...:)

  • if someone were to follow the original principals of christianity, theyd be a great person. religion doesnt make someone more or less moral.

  • Think you may want to re-read that bible of yours. If someone actually followed the bible today they would be either locked up as a loony or in prison for crimes against humanity. Really, read that awfulle book and see for yourself.

I agree with you on the rest of the statement, we get our morals from other places, not religion.

  • original teachings. what jesus said and practiced, not what the church preaches. you know, love your neighbor. dont kill, dont steal, shit like that.

  • oh, yea I know, kill fruit trees if they dont have fruit for you to eat, disown your family, chop off parts of your body, disrespect you own mother... all new testament and all done by jesus. AGAIN, read the book, it is an awful example of morality.

  • they're stories. not the principals. Youre honestly gonna be pissed if someone lets their belief in god help them be a better person because you think theyre wrong?

  • if it is all just stories then there is no point in making a religion out of it, right?

No, I am not going to be mad if someone thinks they are better for having a belief. Just remember, when you were a kid and you acted better because Santa was coming? Well same premiss applies here. You are acting better out of fear, not because it it comes from a true desire to do good for the world.

There is a huge difference here, please think about it.

gods and Santa come from the same place, our mind.

  • you cannot say that every single person who believes in a god and does good just out of fear. One of the biggest things in the bible is helping the poor because it says its the right thing to do. People do what their religion tells them to do because they believe it is the truth not because they are afraid of it.

  • by that reasoning we would never have a millionaire that is religious. How about churches, they pocket 90% of what they take in and only donate 4-10%. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are both Atheists, yet they have the #1 and #2 charitable trusts in the world, Ted Turner (Atheist) gave 1 billion to the united nations. Again, you lack of research in to your own religion is showing. If you learn more you will believe less, it's just a natural side effect.

  • god damn do you even read what I'm typing? First, I am not christian, and i never said i was, and second i never said the religion as it is today or that people even follow its principals, but if someone were to, there would be nothing wrong with it.

  • You rock, my man.

It's interesting to note how many strippers and porn stars sport a crucifix while working (so I'm told). "Doing the Lord's work" I suppose.

  • You'd actually be amazed at the number of highly religious strippers I've met...and my Christian friends party harder than anyone else I know! lol.

  • That was exactly the point. Who cares about consequences when you have been forgiven? lol

  • Really enjoyed this video..it's a shame I didn't see it before.. maybe I did and forgot...oh well.

    Subbed.

    Great points. ^^

  • thanks!

  • I dislike your jab at the tax evaders. Aren't the tax imposers those relying on force/the threat of force? watch?v=FPlhUuGRTQQ

  • I really liked this, you've made some very good and clear points. Good camera work!

I kind of liked the word "hypocriful" (that's what I heard). Maybe *because* I'm no English speaker :-)

  • It's so funny to think that theists really believe that we atheists only denounce god to serve our own carnal thirst for worldly pleasure, aka sin.

Do they really think that if we *knew* god was real that we would pretend that he wasn't there? Really? Would they trade one meager lifetime of carnal kicks for an eternity of hellfire? No?

Well neither would an atheist, but the main distinction here is that we're mature enough to know better. Good by guilt does not equal good.

  • VERY well put, simple and not overstated....Now if we can just get this across to the opposition. I do not know honestly how this concept is too difficult to understand.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself.

  • I think the word you're looking for is "hypocritical," not "hypocryphal." Good video, though.

  • not bad the strip club thing was so true

  • Well put. I enjoyed this video very much! I hope the religious folk will finally understand someday that we aren't what they think we are.

  • yeah me too!

  • Perfectly put, a shining example that i'd love to put in a journal entry.

  • nice vid ;p the only good thing about religion, besides public holidays, is that their women are all dirty sluts...... thank you jesus!

  • oh ouch, true though.

  • Nice vid! VFX rock (coz where else we can get goood jokes if (s)he leave us! :p

  • It's a kitty!

Incoming Christians juxtaposing atheism and bestiality in 3...2...1...

  • lol

  • It would be impossible for me to sin in the same way it would be impossible for me to ride a unicorn. I don't believe either of them exist.

  • Excellent point, but one flaw, I do ride my unicorn to work (saves on petrol)

  • It's just a way that the Christians beg you to stop hitting them with the Hammer of Logic. LOL

  • HOL = lol

  • I hate to criticise you for anything as I enjoy your videos but I thin kyou've invented a new word - hypocryphal? Is that hypocrisy of doubtful authenticity..?

I suspect hypocritical might be correct, but other than that, another damned fine video - as for the very last shot - I know that feeling...

  • yea i thought it was a word....oops, my red neck is showing again!

  • Ouch, whoever that was directed at, it must have hurt. Loved it.

  • Twas just a general rant, directed at all that it applies too, except the tax thing that was aimed at VFX, but turns out he is Canadian in Toronto, from one source.

  • Yes i truely enjoy watching your videos. Good job!

  • Thanks

  • Lol Dude, I like how you went to the trouble of filming all the different camera angles.

Good job on the video production man, I like it.

  • thanks, I try to do at least one "odd shot" in everything I do, but some times I find it hard to remember where I have put the camera and where I have not. lol :)

  • i loved the way you filmed this

  • Nudity, sexuality, and the enjoyment of carnal pleasures, be it watching or participating, are only sins to the religious. To normal people, these things, along with other pleasurable endeavors, are merely a part of the only life we'll ever get, and are meant to be enjoyed. People who bemoan these activities are, in my opinion, jealous that their belief system doesn't allow their participation. In a way, I feel sorry for them, but wish they would mind their own business.

  • Good video and camera angles.

1:16 I had weird thoughts when you suddenly showed the cat and said "I've had several sex partners" (O_o)

  • yea, well, whats the point of sinning if you don't do it with gusto!

    Joking! :)

  • Great vid man and so true as well.

  • Very well made point at 3:05 . Great video.

  • 2:53 sorry. :)

  • I used to do a lot more bad stuff when I was a catholic than I do now as an atheist.

Just being told not to do stuff makes you want to do it even more, but seeing the consequences of your actions are your responsibility alone forces you to think about how you're actions affect others.

  • you could do a whole video on this alone.

  • There's a really good video by NonStampCollector, I can't remember what it's called but it really made me think when one of the cartoon angels pointed out that bad things have their own punishments. I think the secret to living a happy and good life is to accept responsibility for your actions, and the sooner, the better!

  • Its no point in denying the truth. Sinning is way cool. I do it all the time:)

  • The wages of sin might not be so great, but the benefits package is phenomenal.

  • now that is a great tag line!

  • Thank you! I'm not sure if I've heard similar elsewhere. Feel free to use it.

  • Many years ago, when I was a project scientist, I once saw, er, OBSERVED a stripper who had her nu-nu hairs shaved in the shape of a crucifix. I presumed that she was a xtian. And a good one at that. Probably a "true xtian(tm)".

  • great as usual :)

  • Rowan great camera tricks as always but I just realized that there is no point in trying to explain to "old" christians that they are wrong as they won't accept the face that they have believed in a bogus figure all this time. More and more young people choose atheism due to advances in science and education and exactly new generation will gradually transform majority of people into at least non religious people.

  • I agree, however sometimes you just have to make a point anyway.:) I thought it was a new angle on the old argument as well.

  • LOL - the strippers with crucifixes phrase just did it for me....so true! Sin on Saturday, sit in church on Sunday !

  • Great video. Open minded person will notice the majority of scientists are only trying to improve living conditions for people. Sadly, most preachers and church people often only manipulate people for their own selfish needs and greed.

P.S. Go big Ben and the Steelers! Repeat next year!

  • Atheists just want to sin, that is why we do not accept Gods in our life."

Normally the people using this argument are the same people saying you can be forgiven for any sin as long as you accept Jesus. I would think if someones really had the motive to just sin and do whatever they want. It would be easier to just believe in Jesus so they can sin and do anything. Then to deny the God(s) and still be held accountable. I guess people don't think about how stupid that argument really is.

  • "It would be easier to just believe in Jesus so they can sin and do anything."

I suppose since those who really want to believe aren't going to try to make shortcuts in the faith.

  • I love your vids,

P.s. I wish it was like an orgy.

  • Great video.. as usual.. Liked your kitty, What is kitty's name?

  • Yes VFX is Canadian - but we can send him to the US, if you will take him - no returns. Yes atheist just wanna have sin. Thanks.

  • blooper is awesome....

    well done rant!

  • If you're a Christian, you can do whatever you want. All you have to do is apologize to Jesus (not the person you wronged), in your heart (don't need to make amends), and bam: you're going to heaven again.

Heck, for all intents and purposes, Hitler could be in heaven (he might of apologized before he died), and you can go hang with Gandhi in hell. Cause, you know... according to Christians, he deserves eternal torture.

Fuck, I can't believe I used to believe that garbage. :(

    5 stars.

  • "Fuck, I can't believe I used to believe that garbage. :("

Hell is about as bogus as it gets. I can't believe people believe in God just to avoid hell.

  • NOOOOO! You're one of those dirty Steeler Fans! :(

  • It's true, I DO want to go on sinning! That's because God's sense of morality is evil and disgusting.

  • Good video, but I think you meant hypocritical. Apocryphal means a story which is widely told, but not true, like an urban legend.

BTW, if you're referring to VFX, he's Canadian and lives in Toronto, so calling the IRS or the FCC would do no good. There's a video on here which talks about his illegal fund raising scheme and it lists the Canadian authorities to go contact.

  • thanks, i did not know where he lives, and assumed the rest. Bad on me.

  • He sort of mixed the words apocryphal and hypocritical into hypocraphal.

  • Are you saying 'apocryphal' in your videos? It sounds something like 'hypocryphal'.

  • yes hypocritical, as in hypocrisy

  • "You know who you are.." ;)

  • To be fair, one of the people who's doing a good job of exposing the behavior you're mentioning is UNFFWildCard, who's a Christian. Also, how would you know that someone in a strip club is or isn't an atheist? Do they have some sort of symbol like the crucifix to wear?

I agree with you that claims that atheists are immoral overall are false, but I think you can do better with your examples. Why not give some positive examples of atheists' behavior, rather than "I didn't see them do x"?

  • very valid points. I will do better for you next time. I was in a rush to do this and we all know how that turns out. ")
