I find L4D2 is way worse than the original L4D because in L4D2, the characters have NO personality. And for me, personally, there's too many weapons. When there's a lot of weapons for a game type like L4D, it gets annoying, because there's always a certain gun you want, but you can never find it.
Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are both equally the greatest games ever made. I don't see why people boycotted it. I find it rediculous that people think they aren't going to add new DLC for L4D. Who knows? They might add the new SI to L4D.
i loved the original l4d. bought l4d2 yesterday and i hate to say it (and its just my opinion)..the maps fail. the spitter is just pointless and the charger is so annoying. they were good with just the 4 specials. l4d gameplay is much more fun than this new hunk of junk
A problem with the last games multiplayer was that the survivors could hide inside each other and melee forever making every special infected less effective excluding the tank. The spitter forces the survivors to move around and not camp. But yeah i can see how you could like the old way.

Just think that Left 4 Dead was a beta version of L4D2 that work so they decided to release a new game that satifies what we want. Personally I bought both games and I can qutie say L4D has aspects that L4D2 lack. The mindless rushing and classic fun L4D2 will never have but L4D2 also rocks because of the new AI Director that emphasises on teamwork and the melee weapons.

I find L4D2 is way worse than the original L4D because in L4D2, the characters have NO personality. And for me, personally, there's too many weapons. When there's a lot of weapons for a game type like L4D, it gets annoying, because there's always a certain gun you want, but you can never find it.

i loved the original l4d. bought l4d2 yesterday and i hate to say it (and its just my opinion)..the maps fail. the spitter is just pointless and the charger is so annoying. they were good with just the 4 specials. l4d gameplay is much more fun than this new hunk of junk

A problem with the last games multiplayer was that the survivors could hide inside each other and melee forever making every special infected less effective excluding the tank. The spitter forces the survivors to move around and not camp. But yeah i can see how you could like the old way.

Just think that Left 4 Dead was a beta version of L4D2 that work so they decided to release a new game that satifies what we want. Personally I bought both games and I can qutie say L4D has aspects that L4D2 lack. The mindless rushing and classic fun L4D2 will never have but L4D2 also rocks because of the new AI Director that emphasises on teamwork and the melee weapons.

Did my comment get removed? Wow. I will say however, that I agree that L4D2 is more of an action oriented game than true survival horror like L4D. Another thing starsbleedaway, I'm pretty sure you'd grab anything you could if you were being attacked by zombies, dear. A frying pan would be quite efficient, I think. What doesn't make sense is the katana (although dont get me wrong it's one of, if not, my favorites) I mean who the hell would leave their sword wherever?! Lol.

Ok. L4D was too successful not to rip some extra cash from it thats fine with me, i dont mind paying for a good game BUT they made l4d2 so fking goofy and cheesy with all the frying pans and guitars and boomer bile. Original has AWESOME voice acting, appealing characters and it is a horror survival game unlike l4d2 which has a bazillion guns clowns and gypsies screamin 'i love the apocalypse hahaha shooting zombies is fun!'

if l4d2 was a dlc that would be fantastic, but sadly it didn't happen, I played it on my friends 360 out of curiosity, it wasn't a huge improvement, but still fun, to me l4d2 is more like an expansion, $30 would of been more appropriate =)

They are attracted to noises as such. If you approach them, shoot in their general direction, they run at you. Asking for them to run at every gunshot is a bit excessive.
If you think you can make the source engine do that, go try instead of calling Valve out.

it started as DLC promise. with a few ideas. then more ideas came, and more and more and more until there was so much good stuff, they couldent fit it into l4d1 and they didn't want to cut half of it so now its going to be l4d2. besides, we got crash course. so still is dlc
