I'm not sure about gifted but I do think people have given her way too much crap. I don't why people expect stars to be more than human, and I'm not sure most people would have been able to come through what she has weathered in her life. I like her voice a lot but it has no technical skill. Still, many famous singers have become legends with a bad voice that people like.
