Psychedelic ideas are still prevelent and influential. And yea, it continues onward. My biggest influences come from this era. Other bands and musicians will say the same. And it's not about heavy or hate or drugs, as much as it is about awareness, the opening of doors, the beginnings of a new awareness of humanity together, as we enter the Age of Aquarius. Not the myth, the real dawn into which we have passed. We are stardust, we are the children of the stars now. Hurray psychedelia! Peace! \A/
Why is everyone trashing Warner Bros. again? What does it have to do with this film anyway? That was the last clip of the documentary. When I saw the first clip of this film , someone claimed that WB had cut out the last clip. But this is the last clip, so it wasn't true, and now people are bad-mouthing WB as if it is true. It's weird.
This documentary might have been better called, "The History of the Psychedelic Rock Scene," because just as this scene was fading away into a more country rock orientated one other bands in the early 70's were developing a louder heavier more progressive sound. This is where those other bands that everybody is referring to in their comments come in.
No Mothers, Doors, No Hnedrix and no groups that were important then - Bonzo Dog Band, Dylan, The Fugs, Moody Blues, Procul Harem, Captain Beef Heart, It's Beautiful Day or Small Faces. I could go on but maybe you begin to see the point - only so much time, so hit the changes - beginning, middle and end, Good Night and Good Luck
This is weird - this is part 7 out of 10 of a documentary series on the history of rock that came out in the 90s. But...the commentator is British, instead of American. Why do that?
Let them hear sound! There is no intellectual property! Intellectual property in the Constitution was deleted by the first amendment, just like slaves counting as 3/5 a person was deleted by the fourteenth amendment. The elite patent-holding lawyer class obviously isn't going to give us money out of their pocket, so they've historically ignored the truth.
In the same right intellectual property must be recognized for its persistence within the culture, possibly for centuries, as well as the impossibility of owning it.
im not so dissapointed this doc is utterly full of shit anyway. not even a mention of early texas pysch. the elevators, moving sidewalks, and countless others. No mention of newyork pysch. VU, silver apples and more. no mention of love in la. no mention of the yardbirds or pretty things in england. just predictably sucking beatle balls and drinking the deads ass sweat. no great loss here.
GOOGLE YOU & YOUR SICK GREED AND LAWYER-LIES-LIVES HAVE DESTROYED "YOU TUBE." Rename it to Corporate Pig-Tube. "Don't be evil?" is yr slogan---you have nothng but slogans and philsitine blather and blob-slop. YOU ARE HATED.
We shall fight them in the boardrooms. We shall fight them in the trenches. We shall fight them in the streets and in their own backyards. For we are the children that their mothers have warned them about and we shall cry REVOLUTION!!! We shall not take this lying down. Rise up my children!! Rise up and fight!! Do not take this bitter pill that the pig-dog Establishment is trying to feed us with their censorship!! Bring me the head of Time/Warner!! IT IS TIME TO FIGHT!!! REVOLUTION IS NOW!!!!!!!
You gotta be kidding me! Maybe if we heard the song for which the audio was stripped, we'd enjoy it and go buy the album! DUMB ASS FUCKIN' SUITS AT WB! How much $ do you loose paying people to surf this and other sites looking for copyright infringement? GO FUCK YOURSELVES. BETTER YET, LOOSEN UP YOUR TIES BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUSLY CUTTING OFF THE FLOW OF BLOOD TO YOUR SMALL MINDED LITTLE BRAINS.
So what was the content that they didn't want us to hear? Does anyone know? Did something say something disparaging about their company? Just curious.
"They" (Warner Music Group) go after the last part because that's what complete cunts do - a bit like an ex tearing out the last page of the book you're reading as they leave.
The response is obvious - don't give money to Warner...which people are doing, and it is apparently hitting them hard. You must remember that YouTube is muuuuuuch bigger than WMG could ever hope to be.
This is the kind of bullshit that makes me never want to give them a dime again. Steal everything. Fuck 'em. Whiners.

So basically Hell's Angels f#cked up everything for everyone. It wasn't peace and love mentality; it was violence that killed it.
