That car doesnt make anything close to 500HP. probably makes high 3's to the crank. problem with 306's are you either need to force feed them or run a massive unstreetable cam to make any power out of them.
ok i can see the motor itself making *almost 500hp (and that's to the crank). that thing puts down atleast 375rwhp. you loose al ot of hp through the cars driveline
I've done research on this motor for a few yrs. Twisted wedge heads improve the dimensions on the valve train. And a 750 carb WILL feed 500 horses. It will feed 700 horses with fat open jets. Like .85 in front and 1.2 or 1.6 in rear. It's all in the tuning.
Nice ride man, working on acquiring my first fox body. Had a stock 302 bronco with 351c heads. .483/.502 lift 268/285 duration. Timing gears, custom grind valves. Made 420+ horses. Rock on man 302blocks rock.

so innecesary, i've connected fuel pump directly to switch... gauges directly to swith, gauge lights to car lights.. the only i have in my car is: 1 fan... Another fan.... engine light..... ALT turn off..... auxiliary lights....
Trust me I hated it, but that came with the car, the previous owner had it done, I guess he thought it was cool. I was just too lazy to go back and re wire the entire ignition.
