Here's hoping it won't be too expensive. No, I like the idea of Sonic going into different worlds. It keeps things interesting. The old Sonic games are great, but you can only save Mobius from the depradations of Dr. Eggman so many times. So having Dr. Eggman find a way to go to a new world to try to conquer, or have some other evil rear it's head (Erazor Jinn was badass, I don't care what you say) and bringing Sonic there to help is, in my opinion, a good way to keep Sonic from getting boring.

I get what you mean, it is kinda weird how the other characters are actually another person with a different name except for Sonic and they don't even know who Sonic is. But at least these games aren't considered to be canon to the real Sonic story line. They're just fun little spin-offs so there's nothing to worry about...

I think Sonic and Secret Rings was decent for what it was... I liked the story but the gameplay well game controls kinda threw me off with the wiimote n all. If they made it Gamecube control compatible then woohoo but they didnt. Then again it'd be like playin Sonic adventure 2 battle again.

It is a book, yes, but it's still so boring. Secret Rings was pretty fun in gameplay, imo it's gameplay is second only to Adventure 2 and Unleashed (day stages anyways...) so I was always having fun with it. But the storyline bored me, mostly because of the cutscenes. However, I was absorbed at the very end cutscene, and that wasn't a book one. So I just think the book cutscenes are boring, and don't really help to capture people in. Doesn't capture me. That's just my take anyways.
