@zstudmuff1n COD4 used the IW3.0 engine, as did world at war. MW2 used the IW4.0 engine. Failarch went back to a modified version of the IW3.0 engine.

Its based (somewhat) on the same tech, just making it better and better, but if it would make everyone feel better I guess they could give it a fresh name. Making it better and better is all any company does, each engine is built on experience from the last one.

mouse and keyboard MY ARSE! the computer over the console has many advantages, but this isn't one, sure, it separates the children from adults, and the people who play call of duty, and everyone is a team player, and many more take it seriously... but the analogue sticks are far superior in controlling character movement, and predominately controlling vehicles, for example jets. it's not like i'm blindly stabbing at the PC, as fanboys do, i played pc all my life, until 2 yrs ago.

This looks amazing but i still love COD. Modern Warfare 2, for all its flaws, is still amazing. Battlefield's animations just look wierd. In COD the animations are smooth. Here they look forced or clunky. The graphics though are amazing.
