Awesome!! God I loved that woman on the Tube!! I videoed it on my mate's Betamax recorder and had to go round his house every time I wanted to watch it coz we had a VHS one. (Anyone under the age of 30 won't understand that last sentence). Bless you all, even the creepy-looking guitarist.
@IFraser67 Who says no one under the age of 30 would understand that? -___-; I hate how people assume all people under said age are ignorant to certain things.
This was the first ever vinyl single i ever bought as a child!I was so proud of my purchase i charved my name on the single.I love it. It,s sooooooo good to hear it again. xxx
I remember buying the single straight after watching this video on The Tube back in 1983. Today is the first time I have seen this video since. I have watched the other video countless times, but this brings back the memories.
Watched hundreds of clips that I recall from my youth-this is the best. Remember going mad over this track in 83 and like many thought the girl was stunning. So strange how even 20 years ago information was hard to obtain and remeber phoning a record shop in Northen Ireland to get a copy (and subsequent copies) of their songs. Never did I think I would see this again. Ah the wonder of the internet and the likes of You Tube. Made my evening watching all the CDV videos. Thanks to the posters.
I got it wrong in my previous comment its well over 12 years since I last heard the song, thats when my mate had to look after my singles.I will get them back one day. I remember hearing it when it was released somewhere (prob watching it on The Tube or summat) and went out and got the single.A classic.Played it to death and then eventually years later didnt hear it again (except in my head). Such a great song.
I love this song.I have the single(but its at a mates and it has been for over 9 years along with all my singles-he was looking after them when I had to move out of where I was living and still is.I need get them back- but I digress). I have searched for this song for ages to hear it again and finally I find it and with the video I remember of it.Thanx for posting youve made me happy again.I cant get enough! The whole song is excellent, the vocals, the playing etc. A classic....
This was the song that introduced me to CDV, and I've loved their work ever since. Does anyone know about this supposed "fan CD" that has been doing the rounds??? Such a shame there was never an album!!

Well, well, well...I never thought I'd see this little masterpiece again. Just shows you...everything comes to he who waits (long enough).
