Been away from this vid for a while so I'll try to answer some questions.

1. Cams broke some of the internals of the heads. I upgraded to comp vsr stage 2. Doesn't sound as good, but the performance is better.

2. Wheels are 20" black chrome fr500. got them at discount tire ordered them for me, but have seen them in magazines. The 20's are harder to find.

3. No turbo, the idle was set high because it wasn't tuned properly yet.

4. I put in my own high flow cats with the long tubes

@TroutButter --Those cams don't produce any additional power which is why they didn't affect mpg. I installed comp cams stage 2, beehive valve springs, bbk lt headers and o/r x pipe, whipple single blade throttle body and C&L intake manifold in my 07 Shelby GT and let me tell you, a good set of cams is gonna kill your mpg. I went from over 20 average to 15 and I'm watching it drop daily. Granted I have driven it much harder since getting the mods done. I hope this answers someone's question.

@Twiztd230 I agree, and I've always liked the black s197s and they look GREAT without a wing. the only time I would make an exeption on going with a wing is if you went with the cervinis body kit with the ducktail wing. otherwise is no wing for me if I ever get rid of my 94 and go s197...even the sn95s and new edges also look good winless...I've had my 94 and my old 95 and 97 cobra wingless at a few points as well...i like the classic look but it looks perticularly good on these s197...

I love the sound of my beloved 5.0 and the s197 exhaust will never sound as sweet, however this s197 actually has a nice growl to it and is one the meanest sounding ones I've heard. Then again any cammed V8 will sound sweet.
