i belive that it was intended humorously, in imitation of the real monks who did this (which i have no doubt has happened at some point, living a life of holiness requires a certain joyfulness and most nuns and monks have wonderful senses of humor. that said, it may have been received badly simply because, as a rule, baptists are not overly fond of Catholics, which monks usually are heh.. now had they been dressed as buddist monks.. it may have gotten a better reception.

@ltlfrari I think that the congregation is shocked at such a display. I still say this is repulsive and this video and others like it makes fun of things that shouldn't be made fun of.

@amyleighm This in no way looks like they are just having fun. This is a deliberate mockery of monasticism by using a great composer's music. This is despicable and I do not believe that God would make fun of his holy monks in order to provide a merry heart for medicine.
