@Gillanfan89 well i havent had any problem maybe you should try downgrading it since this code is old. and by having the latest update i think they might clear out of "hacking codes" so try installing it again and or downgrading, or if you purchase it try contacting them

Why don't you try DVD Decrypter that's a pretty good one i have used before.. there are quite a few good rippers out there that are better than this you just have to look and see which one suits you.

When using Magic dvd ripper is the usual conversion time about 2.5 to 3 hours or am I doing something wrong? Any way I can speed up the process without loosing quality, converting to avi.

i think it varies on file type. when i convert to mp4 for ipod it takes over an hour, but when i use the original mpeg 2, it usually takes 30 min. i would try different file types to see if that speeds it up any

@QBALL375, most likely its your DVD burner. I used to have the same problem, but for me it took more than 9 hours, so i bought a new DVD drive and now it takes only 14 minutes.... hopefully my advice works!

@QBALL375 It takes me an hour on my dell laptop and I would convert to AVI. First Make sure the resolution is native 720 x 480, that is standard DVD resolution, also set a high bit rate. However the higher the bit rate, the larger the file size is going to be. To do this go to the tab that says convert and select the title. I only want the main movie so usually it is the first one, however, you can select multiple files. If you have any questions message me.
