  • They should have not included the vocals...But The music is waaaaay better than the original Dynamite Rave. it's just the vocals... the beat boxing and stuff is cool. c'mon guys cheer up.

  • This is infuriating. Its missing the best part of the song "I don't wanna give up" and the beats were better. I can't really get into this. =/

  • TURN THIS FUCKING SHIT OFF RIGHT NOW.

  • i rember this this is really easy on the beggeners at the movies lol :D i pwn at this game litterly ddr is mha world >:D

  • Get on your feet, no holdin' back

Just time the beat on the right track.

Don't wait around for everyone else

Do what you want, just do it yourself

  • C'mon, @Konami, your MGS profit is more than enough to outright buy the license for the original 3rdMIX version; forcing NAOKI to unnecessarily remixing Dynamite Rave is an encore of the whole 250 bpm fiasco waiting to happen on DDR.

  • Nothing against the older version, but I love the lyrics in this revision. They're so slliiiicccckkkkk!!! >w<

  • who's the female vocalist in this version?

  • @RaditzSon Brenda Burch, but her voice is pitched up for this one.

  • Nice one, Naoki. Okay, no more games: the REAL Dynamite Rave is on the game too, right? RIGHT?

  • What I like better is that you can hear the music more clearer, including the lil' "bam-bambam" sound. o ,o

  • this dynamite rave is the BEST!

  • the new DDR is shit pure shit wtf is konami thinking is the new DDR even made by konami if so wtf is going through there heads?

  • *tries to get in the groove* uhhh yea im gonna sit down i cant dance to this ummmmm uhhh i dont want to give up yea uhh mmmm yea -_- :(

  • Ur lyrics are OFF

  • @ArillaStar78 So is your FACE.

  • @piepiepie75YT Look, I'm not trying to insult you, alright???

  • @ArillaStar78 rofl

  • @piepiepie75YT Again, I'm sorry.

  • @ArillaStar78 Wow.... The uploader of this video is a major prick for acting the way he did at you- its just rediculous -.-

  • @NeonVictorian It was a joke, calm down.

  • @NeonVictorian Also, it is 'ridiculous'.

  • @piepiepie75YT So is your FACE.

  • @NeonVictorian You're a real slut.

  • The song sounds ok, but I don't really get the feel of this as a Dynamite Rave Song.

  • LOL DDRX2 mix.. I was wondering where the main hook/chorus part would come in... "I DON'T WANNA GIVE UP" ; it's the only best part of the song.

  • WTF IS THIS

  • They should've retained the old lyrics, if the issue are the vocalists... Also, that filter is horrible

  • IMO, this version and the old version are equally good but I'm not sure which is really which...

  • H-whaaa?!? It's missing the melody!!! O_O >m<;;;

  • I'm sorry I like the older version, this one does not cut it...is it just me? *sigh* I think i died a little inside when I heard this.

  • What is this shit???

  • old version is better.

  • Now i understand why everyone hates this version e.e!

  • As of March 24th, 25 people and I have the decency to dislike this unholy mixture of our once beloved Dynamite Rave and what sounds like a failed American Idol try out.

  • i love this its from dance dance revolution 3 hottest party awesome

  • Lol... this is a pretty funny joke from Naoki...

  • 56 people worked it off like a Dynamite Rave.

  • esta elegante deberian pasarlo por la radio la calle

  • I wonder what does Dynamite Rave mean....

  • *quits playing Dancing Stage*

  • ♫ "Techno rave.... " WTF THIS VERSION?

  • THIS SUCKS REAL BAD I LIKE THE OLD ONE

  • I RememBer Back When I Started in The Max Era It Was All Good Till Supernova

  • Fail.

  • I actually kind of like this.

  • I once chose this as the first song of a play, and walked off because it sucked so bad. I simply refused to play it, they can keep my dollar.

  • Utter garbage compared to the original.

  • ...what did i just listen to...? This is no where near as good as the real one :/

  • @Chenchler Technically... this is the real one. The other one is being cut from games due to licensing issues.

  • I'm fine with this version. I don't like it as much as the older version, but I'll be the first to admit that I accept change as it is because, quite frankly, it's inevitable. Find one company that hasn't changed up their formula and still survives today.

  • @iAstro129 : I agree with you, change is good. As long as its not a whole overhaul.

In my case, I've never been a Dynamite Rave fan and this one makes it a bit more tolerable for me.

  • @iAstro129 Dancing Stage. :D

  • This sucks D: why oh why?

  • In my opinion, these are the only remakes that are goog

    Brilliant 2u

    Celebrate night

    Keep on movin'

the rest of the remakes suck

  • I was really excited when i got this unlocked...and then I listened to it....=(

Darn you licencing problems!!! Definately should have had the original version on X2.

  • such a fun song to play on ddr x]

  • I started crying at the end because my ears were bleeding.

  • WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS I DON'T EVEN ;A;

  • they should of left this song alone, the original is better.

  • @JoHnNyDePpIsFiT well they would have left it alone if it weren't for the license agreement on the vocals

  • @Robozukin it might be for licensing issues, or Konami USA (the ones who concieved this pieve of crap) thought they would try to give it urban feel by adding a crappy rapper...i am sorry but Konami USA are so cheap right now....even X2 is missing about 15 songs from the Japanese version, but Konami Europe has left the songs in for the australasian releases

  • @Robozukin Yes but how come ddrx JP cab has the old even the remixes of the old vocals while ddr x us cab has the new vocals? if it's the license issues, why not just renew the license since it's the same one who sings it... or add the artist name with Naoki after it... though not sure why D2R doesn't have new lyrics.

  • @AxAznGuyTony26 japan is a different story then US / Europe

  • @Robozukin I guess, though DDR X2 jp now has the new lyrics lol

  • What is this..I don't even..

  • to tell the truth, I like this version better. Probally because I heard this version first.

But if I'd been with the first one for awhile I'd probaly be on your sides.

  • this one has the lyrics wrong D:

  • What is happening to DDR?! :O

First we get DDR X's deplorable, stupid Street Master Mode.

Then we get the SUPER annoying new DDR X announcer.

Then we get "Dead End- Groove Radar Special."

    And now this?!

As the old, GOOD DDR announcer used to say, "NOOOOOOO!" :(

  • Great. I though we already had enough "you can do it" songs. I was half expecting them to sing "you're the best around and no one's ever gonna bring you down"

  • I actually like this version. I think they are equally good

  • Fail.

  • I have this on my iTouch. :P

  • I'm looking back to know how good DDR & their songs were. Now DDR is starting to lose more interest.

  • awesome

  • Comment removed

  • This makes me sad.

  • This isn't Dynamite Rave. Not anymore.

Way to go, Konami. You destroyed one of the best songs in the game. If you're gonna screw up a song this badly, you'd might as well just take it out. This is the same kind of bullshit Andrew Hussie pulled after he trolled Bill Bolin off the face of MSPA.

  • what happened with dynamite rave... I'm hurt

  • This doesn't pump me up nearly as much as the original

  • I know people prefer the original, but I quite like both this and the original ^^

  • original Dynamite Rave from DDR 3rd Mix is way better imo

  • :[ I don't like it

  • What happened to 'I don't wanna give up' bit in the chorus? This new version is bad.

  • Whatever happened to "I don't wanna give up!" in the chorus?!!? That was the best bit!

I DO wanna give up when I hear this version! It's crap!

  • @MusicalArmageddon he said it in japanese

  • WTF IS THIS SHIT? *PUKE*

  • ...wtf is this

  • Nice.

  • I prefer the old version

  • DDRX2, gaves me beat.

  • damn the original sounds way better watch?v=x1hVdpm4j88

  • i love this song =)

  • I like this one best, it actually songs good.

  • I heard they had to re-make a lot of the classic songs because the licenses on them were expiring. Some of them turned out better, some worse, some relatively unchanged. I'm still undecided on this one, simply because I LOVED the original with a passion.

  • @Phailin In my case, I grew up playing the original versions, 10 years ago.

So, I feel biased about the issue. Worse, the fact that Konami won't outright buy the licenses shows to me how much it neglects DDR. Heck, IIDX stil have TaQ, Akira Yamaoka, Reo Nagumo, and Tatsh songs, even though these artists are NO LONGER WITH KONAMI.

  • they probably redid an awesome song like this and ruined it because (listen closely) the original cussed ONCE.

  • Don't wait around for living with us

should be " Don't wait around for EVERYONE else"

  • my fav version of this song, i play this all the time in hottest party 3

  • i thot ddr hot party 3 was awesome!!!

  • Damn, Im sorta outta touch with the DDR scene since im older now, but could someone list the DDR songs that have been remade recently like this one?

  • i love naokis music but ddr hottest party 3 over did there music

  • I not like

  • All the DDRX remixes are good. All of the beat their original apart from Dynamite Rave. The lyrics and the vocals in the old ones were crap (Execpt for D. Rave or course).

I'm am in no way new to DDR. I've been playing since Dancing Stage Euromix.

  • I like the new lyrics to " Keep on Movin" it should did keep me moving to that song lol

  • They need to do something about the lyrics to the song " Luv to me" I hate the lyrics for that song for some strange reason.

  • I like this remake, but my favorite is Dynamite Rave (B4 ZA Beat Mix). Waaay faster, B4 ZA mix always kills me on Heavy mode D:

  • i agree i love this version it's more uplifting but also they changed the whole song but hey it's updated.

  • Me And My Nehpew luv playing this song!!

  • wow reading these comments shows me how much DDR players listen to actual lyrics. as far as the the actual music and beats this sounds almost identical just different words. so this really is not that bad in my opinion.

  • Luv to me needs a new lyrics because it suck ass

  • All these bs vocal remakes of old school DDR songs completely ruins them.

Any TRUE old school DDR player will tell you that. (Assuming I'm going to get several thumbs down... In which case, is most likely due to some newfags who just started DDR when SuperNOVA came out.)

  • @ddrlear

    dude, it ain't THAT bad...

  • Original Dynamite Rave use to be my favorite song of all time back when I first started playing years ago. While I'll admit, dynamite rave isn't the worst remake they've decided to do, its the fact that they replaced the song all together.

  • @ddrlear

Yes, It ruins it. To me, The last good DDR was DDR 5th. Then it SLOWLY started dying. Less and less DanceMania songs, and more and more IIDX songs.

But it's not like they remade it for kicks. They had to remake it because the licenses with Paula Terry and Aaron G. were expired... Sadly.

  • Ah I see, well I'm thankful someone explained the reasoning behind it.

  • @ddrlear

I just hope they renew the licenses, because the mobile version of DDR X (I hear it has affected home versions as well) has Brilliant 2U murdered as well :(.

I miss the old versions and stepcharts :(

  • @atreyu25 DDR X2's Brilliant 2U is the regular one from old DDR's (Fortunately).

  • @greendaybowser

    Good :)

  • @ddrlear

So true. I've been playing since Max2. Got it when I was 9. Those were the good old days T.T

  • @ddrlear The only fags here is you and the 19 other people that hate to accept new shit from the Legend himself. I've started DDR on the 3ED Mix and can give a shit hoe many times Naoki remakes his shit as long as we get it. It's because of people like you which is why he probably doesn't want to keep making DDR games you little bitch, go some where and jump jump DDR off a fuckin bridge hater.

  • @ddrlear Meh, I've played since max 1 and I like some of the newer versions of the older songs.

  • @ddrlear

I just listened to Celebrate Night (not nite anymore) and I felt like it did justice to the original Dancing Stage version.

  • It's like listening to end of the century

  • More like listening to Old Dirty Bastard rape a song I just recently started to like. DX

  • *quits DDR*

  • *joins you*

    WHAT THE EFF HAPPENED!?!?!

  • Hmmm, it'll take some getting used to. Since the original was my favorite. But I think I can learn to like it.

But Keep on Moving has to be my favorite remake hands down.

  • Agreed with Keep on Moving

  • The only remixes that I like are:

    Dynamite Rave 2009 Version

    Brilliant 2U

    Keep on movin' (well almost)

  • God damn, is this how Konami's treating DDR, the ONLY Bemani franchise with just ONE OG artist, since its conception?

It's already bad enough that Konami's overfunding IIDX/pop'n, as it ALWAYS comes at DDR's expense.

  • Yes and I miss BeForU...

we will never have the song : Strike Party, Red Rocket, Black Out Etc... unless Konami will pay for those songs but I think Konami won't!!!

  • I see this as a really good Dynamite Rave remake. Because it is.

  • BAD X3

  • :OOO

  • Lyrics: Old >>>>> New

    Male vocals: Old >>>>> New

    Female vocals: About the same

Background: Old > New, but very close.

Stepchart: Yet to see, but the original had a memorable style that your legs seem to remember as soon as you hear the song, and the newer charts have generally been... generic? I dunno. No definite judgement.

Safe to say the old version is the best, and they should've renewed whatever license expired. :I

  • Lyrics wise, I like the original better, but the vocals are better on this.

  • Well... i found it pretty cool... i really liked her voice, is sexiest than the older one, i guess this would be in the New arcade DDRX that arrived to my city this morning...

Great Remix, this one enters on my top-3 of Favorite Dynamite rave songs

1- Dynamite Rave (B4 ZA Beat Mix)

    2- Dynamite Rave (2009 Version)

    3- Dynamite Rave (LONG VERSION)

    See ya later!

  • Just stop complaining people! just buy the old version of DDR if u like the old version more! There, problem SOLVED!!! I happen to like ths version better. More Techno. The old one was old slyle!

  • Must..play this in a night club!

  • Meh...I think its ok, but I perfer the original version

  • I agree, I prefer the older version too. I can't stop lol'ing when people say that then get rated down for expressing their opinion. Watch people rate my comment down too XD (btw it's KKiONI from z-i-v)

TO PEOPLE WHO WILL MOST LIKELY RATE MY COMMENT DOWN: This is an OPINION not a FACT XD

  • Great cover

  • No difference from the original. Just like the conflict on Brilliant2U from HP.

  • That's a hot track!

  • I think they could've came up with better lyrics, I'm gonna miss the old Dynamite Rave...

  • It's actually ok, I mean, we couldn't do much because it was the licensing issues with the vocalist, besides, it's now starting to "grow" on me =P.

  • I honestly like it...but not as much as the original ;P

  • Original > This.

  • Totally agree.

Also, Sunkiss Drop is an amazing song.

  • キモオタは帰れ

  • Are you serious? This is an INSULT to the fans...

  • @DDREncore So much, to the point Konami paid a premium to keep songs from IIDX artists who are NO LONGER in Konami, while DDR fans had to suffer for other franchises. >.>

    Sad in hindsight, really.

  • :/ It's OK but nothing compared to the original version.
