  • Do not eat the truckster! LOL! I cannot laugh anymore. It hurts!

  • That's a Rad video game,Cool!

  • Look out Dad! Here I come!

  • Unfortunately, getting there these days means the kids in the car are glued to the LCD screens built into the headrests watching Dora the Explorer or playing video games WHILE you're driving. When I was a kid, I sat in the back seat of a blue 1979 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser (looked like the Truckster) listening to cassettes on Sanyo's version of the Walkman. Hated it when the sun melted the tapes!

  • @zizwop You could afford a walkman cassette when they were new in 1979? Wow...

  • @PigsInBlanket It was a birthday present, at which my Dad was marveled by the stereo sound coming out of such a small device. My first tapes were Joan Jett and J. Geils band, which my parents almost didn't buy because there was a song on the album titled 'Piss on the Wall' :)

  • @zizwop It's amazing. We didn't even get our first personal computer until 1995. This scene is from early 1983.

  • @PigsInBlanket -Dude, my Dad didn't get a TV with a remote until like 1990 :) In fact, just a couple of months ago, I went to my parents house and upgraded them from a tube TV and a computer using dial up, to a brand new computer with wireless printer, high def TV and blu-ray player. They've got more high-tech crap now than I do! Of course they barely know how to use it -lol!

  • Simple times, when you didn't need a computer to live!

  • SNES NES FUCK YOU

    SMACK DOWN VS RAW 2011

    THE SIMPSONS HIT RUN

    WII

    HOUSE DEAD 2-3

  • Honey, c'mon in, wer'e gonna do day one!

  • I feel bad for new generations who know zero about the 80's. They were born with a smart phone in their pockets. Clark says it himself, getting there is half the fun. New technology is so generic.

  • @pearlmax I agree. I'm 18 (born 1992) and I'm in love with the 80s, and retro stuff in general. I listen to vinyl records and I still watch VHS. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

  • @MordaciousFilms Agreed. I grew up with cassettes, NOT vinyl albums, but I own a mid-1970's Record/8-Track Player, and I love it.

  • @pearlmax I'm 13 and this and Ghostbusters are my two favorite movie

  • @delorean622 awesome Im 14 :) luv this movie!

  • @NormanBatesRocks911 well im 11 and i love it too

  • @SuperKeychains coolness!!

  • Awesome Apple Computer

  • lmfao this is hilarious

  • The video game system is a Bally Astrocade, not a C-64.

  • @sciarpo Thank you I was trying to figure out what system that was. I thought it was Colecovision.

  • lol...This video is so funny, i have the movies in my living room. It is amazing, look at that computer, and then look at what we are watching this video from today.

  • Comment removed

  • @circulation211 Wrong that is a Apple ][ that clark is useing and the game that rusty and audrey are playing is a astrocade

  • @TheTerminator640835 I'm aware of that now, but thanks!

  • "Thank you. Good shot, Audrey."

  • Crazy how far the technology has come..

  • lol - dont eat the truckster!

    classic!

  • I'm a pilgrimage to see a Moose! Praise, Marty Moose! Actor/Comedian Chevy Chase is a Maniac! I was only 5 years old when this film first came out back in the year 1983!
