I would not vote Conservative now, I just get the feeling that possiblily none of the main partys may have any real world experience of the population. I want a party that has a wide social diversity that repesents the diffrent groups in this country and understands what it is like to be a low to medium paid, hard worker in this country.

For example, who cares about fox hunting, the greenbelt and wind turbines? Oh yeah, the wealthy rural people. How can he claim to stick up for the working class when doesn't mention a single issue that people care about in these areas except for, maybe, immigration. Even then, most the people who work hard on estates are more annoyed at the shirking white people than immigrants.

Going back to the Greenbelt - this puts up house prices, which makes it HARDER for poorer people.

@ChristopherHeward People poor and wealthy care about these issues, rural folk have been forgotten in the last ten+ years so its right they should get some attention. Its nobody's fault that so many brits (over 80%) have chosen to live in cities. Urbanisation is a problem for this country. On the issue of climate change i find it worrying that ukip have chosen to be sceptical about climate change. Even if global warming turns out not to be man made what is wrong with renewable energy like wind?

I generally think UKIP sound good in the soundbites, particularly about the EU, that they sound like a liberal/libertarian party. But this video makes me think they are a typical right wing party. Sceptical about climate change, think banging up people solves the issues, against foreign aid, wanting to maintain the greenbelt, pro-fox hunting, over-enthusiastic about the armed forces. There are concerns with these issues, but that doesn't mean you revert to the normal right-wing way of seeing.

On Climate change.... do some research(climategate)...30,000­0 scientists are sueing NWO prick al gore for his climate change pseudo-science. Climate change is happening on every planet in our solar system not just earth. Humans contribute 3% of C02 to the atmostphere...

@Burntheflock Does that include things like the effects of deforestation? Also, just because Al Gore has dodgy science, doesn't necessarily mean it's all incorrect. I personally think we should just use less energy. It's daft to be burning fossil fuels just to fulfil our unlimited desires.

I generally think they seem better, but only in some regards. In other regards they start to seem like the standard right-wing party of the privileged. Where are their policies for the poor and marginalised, if they claim to be the party of the working class? I want to back them, but it they see some of the main issues as the armed forces, green belt and fox hunting, then I'm not sure how keen I am. They need to be the party of decentralisation and small government consistently.

@crypter27 Seems curious that anyone who is a true threat to Labour, Conservatives and Lib seats is befallen by either tragic events or smeared like the BNP. I don't vote for them but I find it interesting that as soon as they gained increase in credible support they were suddenly being attacked by the media shows like Panorama when before not a whisper.
