The fact of the matter is this; the Australian criminal system does not over turn or threw cases out of court if you leave the country. In fact, the case continues with or with out the plaintiff. The only way to have a case in Australia revoked is through lack of evidence or the police the charges withdrawing due to circumstantial evidence.
Yes and they are both victims in this case. If you look at how they articulate their words, the movement of their eyes, mouth give away a lot about a person. Then again, I only can go by the lack of evidence presented by them both. The main problem I see is this one. She states that the police threw the case out of court. Yet I am involvedin two such cases as we speak.

We need to have uniformed legal rules across the state in regard to things like this. I know that when I was a kid that the laws were very lax about DV. But I know that in NSW that a lot has been done, and continues to be done to support women who suffer DV. There are now advocacy services, legal community centres etc, at court houses there are DV support rooms, near the court rooms so they dont have to sit in open areas. But more needs to be done.
Lots has happened but I think the first thing that needs to happen is that Restraining Orders should actually get enforced, currently they aren't worth the paper they are written on.

They tell two different sides of the stories, both of them differing in some sense. Honestly grabbing someone from behind could be interpreted and seen in ones mind in so many different ways that it could happen. His side of the story on the actual abuse differed from what she said.

The fact of the matter is this; the Australian criminal system does not over turn or threw cases out of court if you leave the country. In fact, the case continues with or with out the plaintiff. The only way to have a case in Australia revoked is through lack of evidence or the police the charges withdrawing due to circumstantial evidence.

Then again, I only can go by the lack of evidence presented by them both. The main problem I see is this one. She states that the police threw the case out of court. I have nine years of experience as a social worker in the area of domestic violence. After viewing this womans video, I am under the belief that she is lying. However, that is not to say Blunty did not treat her badly. I am just saying, she is lying to you all in a few ways. Take what you like from this, but know that I have a degree of this and I am earning 70k a years for it. So I must be pretty good at my job.

I watched her videos and even though i can't say i truly believe her (i don't know her) all she said it's pretty much similar to what i know as typical domestic violence! Who is this Nate guy anyways? Who haves the courage to do this? And even worst, to do this knowing the special situation, come on, she was a foreign country from what i understood?

33 minutes of it! I don't know this people, i can't even think about who is right or not. I've seen domestic violence with my eyes and i can really see some of the usual actions in this situations, but who knows? I'm certainly not the right person to say something!
But i understand why they are talking about it, they got together because of YT i believe? I too have a relationship like that, a lot of people here know that, imagine i move and suddenly i'm back home! I don't know how i would react!

We need to have uniformed legal rules across the state in regard to things like this. I know that when I was a kid that the laws were very lax about DV. But I know that in NSW that a lot has been done, and continues to be done to support women who suffer DV. There are now advocacy services, legal community centres etc, at court houses there are DV support rooms, near the court rooms so they dont have to sit in open areas. But more needs to be done.

It's on You Tube because the legal system let Katz down, just as it has many other victims of abuse. I think it took a lot of courage for her to talk about it so openly. I think his "apology" was a knee jerk reaction and completely hollow

VK posted a video claiming she was counseling Katz before and after the incident. It would be easy for Katz to rebuke VK's claims if she was lying.
