The poor Queen -surrounded as she is by a collection of spineless suck-ups. These guys are even worse than the useless clowns we have to put up with in Congess these days. But, these guys are definitely better dressers than Mitt Romney et al! Elizabeth had more guts and grit and brains than our last 4 Presidents combined.
This is a play but one must imagine the real Queen as having been this way or more intense to have survived her Reign. Glenda was formidable, how much more was Elizabeth. Magnificent.
@antoninus138 : Elizabeth indeed played the 'Marriage Game' for all its worth, showing 'signs' of considering change was just one of the ways she made her suitors run after her for months and months on end =]
No offence towards your person or Elizabeth's -- for indeed men have compromised for less -- but that could also be called oppurtunism. It bears witness to a shrewd cleverness, but I wouldn't call it virtuousness.

Did Elizabeth open the door herself at 2:10? I don't think that ever happened, not after she was crowned.

Did she really consider changing her religion? If so that would be very disapointing.

@antoninus138 She said that she would, but she NEVER, EVER, EVER, truly considered it, but she used it to her advantage in the marriage market.

Great ensemble and, of course, a great Elizabeth. Thanks again. L
