Well, having driven all these cars, as the video shows, the lambos were my favorite. However, the Ford GT and Z06 were just AWESOME! The Ford GT was the most race car like. The Z06 had Ferrari like handling and a real clutch unlike the F430 here, which had computer controlled paddle shifts (which albeit may shift faster, they're not nearly as fun). The Lambos had the best look by far - so exotic! That's become my dream car (sorry Ferrari).And I like the all wheel drive.For the price the Z06 wins

It's either paddels fitted to a manual box or and automatic. There are two padels on each side of the wheel, one for up and one for down and variouse other opperations for neutral and reverse. When you pull one it tells a computer to disengage the clutch, select and new gear and then re-aply the clutch.

all cars have a clutch, what the flappy padels do is they remove the need for a clutch pedal because either there's too much power to risk the clutch, to speed up the change for performance or the driver can't handle it.

and that depends on the quality of the "sports shift". Citronee ones are terible and and the VW Group double clutch versions are faster than an Enzo's.

I have another video with more of the Ferrari - guess I should post it as well. Having driven two Gallardos (a 6spd and a paddleshift convertible) as well as a Murcielago today I lean towards Lambos. Only Ferrari I've driven is a paddleshift F430. To be fair I'd need to drive a 6spd F430 and an F50 to compare with the Murcielago. Maybe one day! ;-)

Now, if I had to pick one I would take the Lamborghini Murcielago. Nothing is more exotic than those suicide doors and you are practically laying down in that car. It's got that all carbon fiber body with the adjustable air scoops above the rear wheels. Just totally awesome. Man, what a blast.

I'd definitely choose the Z06 over any of them, though I DO think Chevy could do a slight bit more to make it more...i dunno...smooth, shall I say? Don't get me wrong though, it's a beautiful car & I for SURE wouldn't pass it up. My dad just bought a Porsche Carrera GT, which would outperform a Z06 but barely. If I had a second choice I'd choose a Z06.

As much as I love European cars: Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches and BMWs - I must say that I was very impressed with the American cars at the events. I had driven a regular corvette and the Z06 is NO ordinary vette. Car and Driver put it up against the F430 and 911 Turbo and it was more powerful, lighter, faster 0-60, stopped quicker and beat them on the track! The Ford GT was even more incredible! Hats off to America.

Who knows the reason why they don't want to compete in F1? Maybe they like putting all their money into GT1 class performance type cars, since they much more closely represent a real street car. The C6.R Corvettes have won 5 out of the last 6 Le Mans 24 hour races in the GT1 class. If Euros are so good, why aren't they dominating GT1 class at Le Mans? The engine in the C6.R is the same engine found in the C6 Z06 Corvette, but detuned for better mileage per gallon, yet lower hp in the process.

This video is from a company that travels around the US with these cars and for around $800 you get a certain amount of time in each car. For my uncle's 50th birthday we got him a place in this "tour". He said it was absolutly amazing but that a lot of the cars had taken a lot of abuse so there were many rattles and squeaks but overall he said it was awsome. I don't remember the name of the company that does this but i know they have an ad in Road and Track magazine.
