The nas is working perfect. The NAS has a great cooling system. I make the preference that every week the disk are checked for error. Non are found.
The big test will be the next months. It's getting warming. Will the harddrives stay cool in this weather.

Damn...What type of condition were the platters in after all of that crunching??? Almost makes me reconsider buying another ReadyNAS due to "not" having this type of noise when moving large amounts of data... :-(

Every weekend the software is running a quick scan over the harddisk. Still no errors found.
Keep it cool.
But serious. The disk only go wild when i'm doing a lot on the NAS. Normal the NAS is quiet.

@ecotts he must be using old drives as newer drives are quieter. Especially the Western Digital green drives
