Matt Hayes is probably the best fisherman to learn from. He provides a lot of useful techniques and ways to catch fish. The marker float is a great way of testing your surroundings and getting a feel for the place your fishing, not every angler would think of using this technique, He is a genius !!!

i use slightly cut boilie on a rig with a quater of a straberry , then a piece of corn then a boilie stop , this works great caught my biggest with that 16pound mirror

me and my dad caught a 23lb 8 oz mirror carp on a whole strawberry around the size of a £1 coin. was amazing i tell you. also vanilla pod and liquorice pieces are good attractors

ive herd of using a strawberry before. my dad caught a carp on a lemon and scampy nik nak. thats a crisp btw.

A good bread to use for carp fishing is warburtons bread, because of the amount of gluten it contains and carp can sense this, almost like an additive. Give it a try

thats really true you can catch them with bread i was using kidney beans and i had in 3 hours, 4 gasscarps but the wernt 15 pound i think the biggest was like 11 LOL

carp are a blast they run and fight alot like big hybrid stripers

i spend a large amount of time fishing for carp and Flathead catfish both are fun if you can catch them

i actually use baby carp 5 or 6 inches long for Flathead bait sometimes

hi drummo,just keep an eye on the water,dont pile the bait in(little and often )..stick with the basics and dont lose faith..dont let you exspectations go mad,aim for double figure fish 10-15 pounds your first yr,hope this helps,regards mike.

you can freeze them once m8,dont refreeze them,if i was you actualy buy the freezer boiles,and take out as much as you need ech time,also you can refreeze these,hope that helps,regards mike..
