  • white cracker..... stay true...

  • of the 4 original branches is a system of its own with its own forms, weapons etc... They are related however by shared theories and some common moves. Flying crane for instance has more than 50 hand forms and 18 weapons. It may be however that some white crane styles have a form called flying crane...I dont know.

  • for every branch of white crane, like flying or jumping style crane, does that mean that each one is just one form, or are there many forms within one branch?

  • Very nice, look likes a Shaw Brother's movie! LoLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.

    Thank you.

  • Impressive, Most impressive. The CHI FORCE is strong with these WHITE CRANE PEOPLE.

  • Beautiful forms!

  • sick two man set!

  • Man your White Crane Kung- Fu is Fly! Your Master is a real Master and So are you. Its just like Wing Chun in respect when you observe it, it looks like waviing and swing arms. Further investigation reveal its a very complex and simple system. Very Good !

  • Hey Bro. Lorne...nice stuff! Hope to see you again at the Kuoshu tournament.

  • Hey brother! We are coming and looking very forwards to spend some time with you my You tube superstar! I actually saw your sifu drumming in a clip ...Wow that is dam good drumming! Anyhow we will be there , i just wished it lastyed longer so that we could all hang around...

  • i CANNOT WAIT to strat studying WCKF

  • Cheap shot. I know both Lorne Bernard and Augustine Ngu. What you are saying is inaccurate and very immature to post here. They are both very good martial artists and sometimes maybe people have issues amongst themselves and that is between them.

I am not here to defend Lorne I am not even his student. Actually I was/am a student of Augustine Ngu who would not agree with your comment.

  • No more comments from me on this topic. Too sit and watch such a spectacular display of Fa Jing at 2:20 and read all the crap underneath just shows that there are far too many people who don't understand what martial arts is about.

  • My typo! I was talking about UFC when I was referring to MMA as a sport my mistake! Sorry for the confusion.

  • understand the meaning of the word " martial". Base on your statement ,people who take up boxing and MMA arts are training only for sport, thus in the real world of self defense, these skills are not applicable.Yet a martial art developed 1000 years ago, never needs anything change to adapt it to self defense to today. Martial arts are training for combat,to overcome a adversary: That is the single objective.Once you start making excuses, ignoring that single objective, you are lost

  • thats my sifu hahaha !

  • THAT'S MY SHIFU A 2:20!!!!!!

  • lol say what you want people but the guy at 2:20 Could kill most MMA legends in the blink of an eye. If you know real kungfu you will see this. A true master.

  • Stop drinking your own urine and stop using to crane beak on yourself. As a martial artist( Kung fu, BJJ, Kyokushin background),I refuse unlike you, to make such baseless claims. If there were white crane martial artists successfully cage fighting , that is one thing. To claim the above Sifu could "kill" MMA legends like Liddle, Fedor, Randy C,etc....is bullshit. To play into martial arts nowdays, you have to be well-rounded, it aint no tea ceremony anymore.

  • Previous post was to Secretsword

  • absolutely fantastic - i love white crane kung fu ---i started it and then stopped ...after watching this must start ....great for mind, body and discipline

    keep it up boys

  • okay... i honestly have not done martial arts in such a long time..but its not just for self defense.only fools would be that narrowminded.and to be good at any martial arts you gotta respect and acknowlge other styles as well.and by the way.great video.

  • besides... Kung fu-styles are not just for defending. If you enter the academy with just that in your head you have nothing to get there

  • Wow, this is ignorance at its best. You should learn to open your eyes and show some respect. I've studied white crane a bit, and I can assure you this style, and the way it is taught at the Academy, is most serious and effective. You can't actually understand the applications of the forms if you haven't learned them, and to do so you need respect and commitment. I'm a Zhaquan practioner and have most respect for Shifu Bernard, thanks for sharing such true knowledge with us. Greetings.

  • Do only honest thing i would say to you is train in there school and then comment. Bernard Sifu IS a great teacher with lots of knowledge!!!

  • Too cool! You guys are wicked. Thanks for sharing your art with us.

  • The crane evades as much conflict as possible, but counters with just as much skill and power.

I wish to be a practitioner of the crane style ^^.

  • Once again, awesome!!!

  • Thank You for your kind words of encouragement!

  • HI, I assume you mean jing Li (martial power). Perhaps you cant see it as you are not familiar with Flying crane's Jing. We have 3 types of Jing Li:1_ Chong Li (long piercing power; 2- Duan Li (short power as in the salute)3- Tang li (springing power). They can also be referred to as tang jing etc... for more, see my book :Shaolin white crane kung fu : A rare art revealed.

    Hope this helps.

    L.Bernard

  • It is absolutely not sped up!

  • bighairymanluv has not seen Lorne move in real life.....hahaha

  • is white crane kung fu the same as black crane kung fu cause i hope to start training for black crane kung fu soon

  • Sorry Im not familiar with black Crane kung fu. This is fujian white crane kung fu...

  • Go Shifu Lorne! Your the best kung-fu teacher!

  • Respect...

    I give you my Bighairymanluv....

    RESPECT...

  • Fantastic. Loved the lion dance music in the background, alltogether really well orchestrated!

  • Thank you for your kind words of support!

  • Gladi44 you're the total crap

  • This video is showing quality in the traditionnal martial arts!

  • excellent performance...

  • Great performance. It's a shame the view was just above the waist. The low stances and footwork are impressive as well.

  • Thank you for your kind words! The taping was done by a volunteer student. Quite frankly, we don't really mind if everything is not perfectly visible as we are still not very confortable showing our stuff. We are still a little old school although we are obviously modernizing and making available our performances in an effort to disseminate authentic white crane kung fu.Thanks again...

  • Great video! Very nicely done by everyone. Were they free fighting with spears at the end or was it a two man set?

  • This is a two man set. But with master Lee Joo-Chian doing it , you are almost free-fighting! (ie It is hard to keep up!) Then there were 3 aplications of the ovements demonstrated...

    Thanks

  • Amazing! The spear is particularly impressive.

  • very, very nice. that's one of the best two man set performances i've seen. looking forward to more clips.

  • Thank you so much. It feels great to get encouraging comments. In the Flying crane style, the two man sets are quite short( the video is actually of two or 3 short sets put together for demo purposes) and very aplication oriented. In fact, as students progress there is much room for inovation and the application of different techniques within any given form.. Anyhow Thanks again for your comments and best of luck!

    Lorne Bernard

  • whit crane for life !

  • nice
