make the path down a four way ;) and use the middle two, go 1 more deaper then the rest, and make the very bottom slightly deeper, kinda like a dip. and then just create a waterfall down the center. and use that as a super fast way of going down, then all u need to do is put the stairs on the sides, which the waterfall/escalater should help u save some steps

underneath the spawner dig a big hole and fill it with water so they spawn,drop into the water and drown. Then make the water so it flows so you get the 'loot' delivered to a little place
