If this was his final audition he would have won hands down but he blew all his chips on the first audition...also he seems to only be able to sing one type of song well.

IMO, the problem with Danyl was that he was too good, too soon.

He is good. I think he and the Afro guy stand out. Mainly because of their ease on stage (more than their actual vocal skills which are also pretty good). Plus, they come across as nice guys too.

That was an amazing 1st audition. I've never seen anything like it. However, the one neg comment I will make, is that it was obvious he had choreographed the mic toss and the sitting spell. Much like Susan Boyle before him, I have to wonder whether the magic is in our first viewing or whether he can take it all the way.
You would think he could show more emotion and more excitement in singing! Too stiff and sterile for me...I wish he moved around the stage and interacted with the audience more! Ha!!!

IMO, the problem with Danyl was that he was too good, too soon.

That was an amazing 1st audition. I've never seen anything like it. However, the one neg comment I will make, is that it was obvious he had choreographed the mic toss and the sitting spell. Much like Susan Boyle before him, I have to wonder whether the magic is in our first viewing or whether he can take it all the way.

The guy has an awesome voice but he needs to work more on his moves. Sometimes the moves are good and other times it's like a rapper's moves. Too jungle bunnieish. If he really wanted to make an impression he should have acted like he had ceberal palsey.
