this is such a real portrait of American corporate top management.. I wouldn't doubt if this is taken from a true story with a sci-fi twist

it won't be long before this is the US it's almost there already
this episode was just pure brilliance comedic drama blended with social satire. doctor who is just the greatest sci fi show ever made.

I'd hardly say the Doctor has a history of 'economic subversion'; he never got involved with ANY problem for economic reasons.
(You have to wonder if that guy insists on getting addressed with titles such as 'Hugeness' to compensate for his own short size)

Perhaps he interprets 'economic subversion' as anything that doesn't support profit-making.
The Doctor is a bit of a rogue, a wanderer who does as he pleases and helps people without looking for financial reward. He's certainly no capitalist.
