@sounds001 Actually, the first to "find her" was the person who posted this video, known as FalseVoice. He posted a video of Charice which Ellen Degeneres found and she had Charice on her show. David Foster and Oprah came next. Foster and Oprah claim that they found Charice on the Internet. I think they discovered her on "Ellen" and wouldn't say so for legal or ego reasons. Ellen doesn't get the credit she deserves for helping to discover Charice.

I can't believe people are making a fuss about Charice's being a Filipino. What she has is talent. I have nothing against Charice's being a Filipino because I am one too. I just find it disappointing that when she once decided to sing here in the Philippines through joining a competition we chose someone else and now that she's making a huge sensation we go and smother praises and claims. She earned her fame and glory, I think every Filipino should too.
