  • They like black buzzbaits with a clacker. They will hit any color, but they REALLY go nuts for black. Try it, you will never go back. Use a LARGE BUZZBAIT! It's not the squeal of the spinner it's the splash and popping...it simulates top-minnows feeding. Swap up your retrieval speed (fast - slow- fast - slow) to get the attention of the bass. Happy fishing.

  • clubber

  • every buzzbait is good best are strike king, booyah, and luck e strike

  • I prefer Booyah but i got 4 hits last night on the walmart 1$

  • ya me to. i got one but i didnt use it yet . its a neon yellow

  • Does anyone else have a hard time getting a buzzbait to run straight? Mine always track off to my left. Doesn't matter what size buzzbait, what kind of knot, what rod I'm using.

  • @jobu88 your line is probably in the water to the left

  • trailer hooks are hooks that hooked onto your main hook...it just gives a bigger chance of hooking your fish for you because sometimes ppl hook too fast and their hook dont set and the trailer hook kicks in....it really gives you a better chance!

  • theres a pack or trailer hooks that strike king makes its red so it looks like its bleeding

  • caught an 18 inch northern with one today

  • caught a baby bass with that black one

  • the only thing i dont like about buzzin is that there is a very limited timeslot that you can use them her in southwest virginia and northeast tennessee. In terms of time of day and year.

  • Buzz bait worked for me once but the bass hit it hard..i loved it

  • The buzzbait works during every season. It was snowing in chicago and I got like 3 strikes. Thye work as long as you know how to use them and where to use them at certain times. afterall, the brand does not matter, only the action and how you use it.

  • do buzz baits work in the winter or are the bass too deep?

  • theyre usually very unsuccessful in the late fall early winter because the bass usually bed down for the cold and stop being aggressive. However, early fall, the bass eat alot before winter to stock up on food so they can work. i find them to work the best in the summer, near mid day on calm water. the warmth makes the bass aggressive, making the buzzbait a killer lure! give it a shot!!

  • there at hthe bottom there not topwater

  • no its spostsa go o the top and make a ton of noise it can be fished on the bottom no point tho

  • ive had good success in the winter using a buzz bait in ky

  • All of there buzzbaits r 1.00 and from wal-mart.

But i get my buzz baits the same way!!

  • Dillard, thanks for your Service; congratulations on winning a tournament (on any kind of lure). I also love to throw buzzbaits and topwaters of all kinds; great fun when they are on that sort of a pattern. It doesn't seem to take long to see if they'll chase buzzers. WinkieDoodles

  • i bet a culprit buzzbait is better than walmarts.

  • u can't beat a clacker buzzbait made by booyah... or a chatter buzz made by R&S. Those walmart spinners don't have that extra clackin noise and the hooks are not quality... well the entire bait isn't quality!!! they suck... i'd outfish u... no pro uses that crap. I don't care what u do to it... u can't make a cheap whore into a classy woman.

  • yeah but the clacky loud ones are usually way to much commotion. Double bladed ones are good because you can fish them real slow. i prefer the strike king pro buzz i think its the best on the market

  • well it must depend on where your at cuz the bass down here love the clackers...they ain't skeered... last weekend I was fishin a clacker buzz and my buddy was fishin a regular terminator buzzbait and I was up 6 fish on him... I was nice and gave him one of mine to try and he said he wouldn't go back after using it.

  • Here in GA, I've been switching between a modified Wal-Mart buzzbait and a Booyah buzzbait in the early a.m. since May and have had equal success with both. I can pull the Booyah slower (when need be) so that's a plus but this month I've pulled four 5 pounders (2 on each) and a regular amount of 2-3 pounders and the bass here can't seem to tell the difference between the two.

  • i used the cheap wal mart spinners a buzzers

and the heads always fell off thats why i use booyah and strike king the best 2 skirted baits on the market

  • great vid

  • The best part of fishing a buzzbait is the strike. You did not show a strike. What a crappy video.
