  • Watson, what have they done to you? XD When I read the books, I picture this tired, lazy, man meeting this most interesting person in the world and having his eyes opened to the London Underground in the late Victorian era.... THIS Watson is something else... ahaha.

  • Has anyone noticed that no smoke ever comes out of Holmes pipe in these?

  • corpse's leads shoud cross each other

  • on which channel is this cartoon telecasted

  • What does it means the capitals VR at the wall?3:10

  • @dragvag1 It stands for Victoria Regnia, as in Queen Victoria, the monarch of England at the time this took place.

  • Sherlock's voice-which I believe is Peter O'Toole's sounds remarkably similar to Benedict Cumberbatch's voice at times; I found it strangely ironic.

  • This always was my favorite Sherlock Holmes story!

  • The circumstances of the murder are fatally modified. Other less important facts are inaccurate as well... eg. both holmes and watson are FAR to old in this movie. In addition to that they are supposed to meet the first time in "Study in Scarlet" actually... and holmes does not shoot the letters VR into the wall in this book but in "Musgrave Ritual"!

  • brings back memories...first watched this 12 yrs ago, with Cantonese dubbing :)

  • I imagined Watson as a thinner person... o.o

  • @Tawnyshine He was. In the book, he was described as "thin as a lathe and brown as a nut."

  • In the canon, Holmes is 27 years old when he and Watson meet, and Watson is a few years older (all of this is deductions made by afficionados of Holmes and can be "verified" in any reference book pertaining to the canon).

  • These animated versions of sherlock holmes are excellent, i wish they could have made versions of these for the short stories too, but they only did the 4 novels

  • this is inacurtrae compared to the book,

    1. It was Ranning while the constable was on his way to that place.

2.there was a look of fear and anger upon the poor dead man face in the book.

    3. there was blood all over the floor bbut no reported ingury on the man.

( i am leaving out stuff so i don't blow it for you.)

  • @naruotno1fangal Sorry, i must correct my self... the blood showed up later.

  • @naruotno1fangal actually the man the blood was seen as soon as he was discovered

  • @naruotno1fangal is the book better? i mean, the book is alwayss better than a movie, but would u suggest i read these books? :)

  • @sashamarie711 The Sherlock Holmes books r classic. EVERYONE should read them. They're much better than some of the mystery crap on tv these days. The book's awesome (tho u may want to get a very large dictionary if ur not familiar with the language)

  • @JakobDailes I've never even picked up one of the books....what language are you talking about? I will DEF have one handy though, when I do get one of the books :)

  • @sashamarie711 They use a lot of words in it that they used in those times but don't use these days, so unless u have the dictionary memorized, some words will be unfamiliar. I like using the Puffin Classics books because not only do they include the actual stories (not summarized, watered-down crap that they give out these days) but they have a dictionary of possible unfamiliar words in the back.

  • @JakobDailes awesome. thanks

  • @naruotno1fangal Jefferson is supposed to be bigger isn't he?
