What shades of green did you use?

What color of blue, red, orange and purple did you use?

What color is their belt buckle?

@AwesomeAJ18 they can't because the first turtles from the comic book all had red bandanas and were better than the cartoon in my opinion. and the comics were out long before the cartoon.

hey bro did you have a problem painting the shells of the turtles? i know its a soft like plastic .... im asking because im getting the Black & White ones to customize and i wanna make sure i dont mess them up.. i use testers paint when i customize my figs but ive had problems with soft rubber like plastic with that paint any tips ?

I use Game color acrylic paints, so far they have not gotten sticky and tacky yet !

@speedlee did you have a hard time taking them apart from the hip / thigh and shoulder joints with the heat and pop method?

I do it just fine, u have to becareful while removing them though, since the joints look somewhat fragile and sorts :)

Very impressed with your work! I need to fix a couple of my turtles due to broken joints and plan to repaint as well...but I can't manage to get the pins removed. How did you go about doing that without damaging the skin or breaking the pins?

You have to heat up the figures to remove the pins or to pop the joints out... Just becareful of the pegs located at the hip joints, they are pretty fragile... :)

so i bought a black and white set of these and im going to paint them. do the hands just pop out? im scared of breaking them and i cant find any info on disassembling these figures safely.

You have to heat up the figures to pop out the joints :)

GOD i love the paint jobs.. im going to do my Black and White ones like this.. i cant stand the old comic (only red) paint jobs.. i know that was the original style but it lacks fucking personality! the cartoon/videogame/archie comic turtles are the best. fuck the red headband ones.. i mean everyone grew up with the color turtles not the fucking solid red ones lol.. (well i know me and all my friends sure did) the comic is good but even MARIO has evolved from the shitty looking mario from DK

these are fantastic, the individual colourings are great, especially donatello, i've always been a big fan of that browny green colour on him and it really sets him apart here. excellent job
