Why are creationist so hung up about The Origin of Species?
Yes, I know for their believes the rule "The older - the better" applies. But even they should be aware that science did not stand still in the last 150 years and that there is more than one book on evolution.
.
Oh, and Hitler was also a strict vegetarian... what does that tell us about modern day meat rejectors?
One question, Aron Ra. Where does Hitler says BELIEF in evolution is a sin? The text says that he thinks reproduction between species is a sin to his "Eternal Creator" Loved the video, I hope those dishonest liars can someday be truly exposed to the public.
"It amazes me, how anyone can be so consistently proving to be absolutly wrong, about absolutly everything, 100 percent of the time, for such a long time and still belief theirs is the absolut truth." HAHAHA, i love that!
Is there an epidemic of horse and man sex going on that I'm unaware of? Who's doing whom? Oh god, I just had an image in my head of the 69 position. It wasn't pretty. I hope it doesn't play over and over in my head all day like a bad tune. You Christians creep me out. Stop it.
at 6:55 woman on woman aids....how did they work that out? seriously, how the bloody hell.
and how the hell can a human get aids from an horse? sure there are lentiviruses in other mammals than primates, but the chance of crossing over is slim to non.
i know that the kind probably has no knowledge about HIV, but who the hell approved it?
I would paraphrase a quote from Matt Dillahunty: Who cares what any of those men thought?! If it is true, it is true regardless of the person who says it
Yes, what has taken me away from “Faith” is not science, but rather the constant hypocritical lying evangelical Christians. I catch them in so many lies and then they expect me to believe them when they talk about God. No, I can’t do it. If anyone believes in God, consider the commandment about lying: Lying is against God because it drives people away from God. That is why I no longer have faith, the lying.
It baffles me that, in this day and age, people still believe that you can actually discredit a scientific theory by bad-mouthing it's author.
Even if Darwin was a misogynistic racist Nazi (which he wasn't), that wouldn't change anything about the validity of his theory.
Interesting that these 'Christians' would use the same tactics that were used against Martin Luther King, Gandhi and all other great leaders of social movements. Shame on them!
@ASKaPHYSICIST Sample quote from Ghandi "“We were then marched off to a prison intended for Kaffirs (offensive term for black person),” Gandhi complained during one of his campaigns for the rights of Indians settled there. “We could understand not being classed with whites, but to be placed on the same level as the Natives seemed too much to put up with. Kaffirs are as a rule uncivilized—the convicts even more so. They are troublesome, very dirty and live like animals.”
@lewisner so in your opinion someone has to be perfect in every possible way all the time to be a 'great figure'.
That's what you're implying anyway and you're an idiot to do so and it also has nothing to do with my comment.
Gandhi achieved recognition because of the principles he promoted and the social movement that resulted from it, i.e. he changed his country through peaceful protest.
My point was that the opponents he had to overcome used similar strategies as these creationists
@ASKaPHYSICIST My point is that in using Ghandhi as an example you are using the "argument from authority" as xtians do regarding jebus. The fact that you call me an "idiot" shows immaturity and a lack of faith (sic) in your arguments.
@lewisner No it doesn't. I merely said Gandhi was attacked in the same way Darwin seems to be attacked now. I asserted that he was a great leader and that is hardly disputable (he lead a lot of people and reached his goals)
If I said I'm right because Gandhi agrees with what I'm saying, that would be an argument from authority. I called you an idiot because I got annoyed with you not explaining your points
To my fellow rational thinkers, I have a dilemma. I go to college with a baptist (I know, hell on earth right) and she believes that hitler wa an atheist, I've made numerous quotes from hitler supporting that he was a catholic and she still thinks that he was an atheist refusing to back up her point. Not only this, she believes that evolution is a satanic myth and that all non-baptists desreve hell, especially atheists. So I ask you, how do I stop myself from killing her?
@AntiMatterWave Stay far away from her. Baptists practice brainwashing. I think they call it baptism but either way they are overly proud of their crazy beliefs and to even question them will make god hate them forever. Of course i only know what small town southern baptists are like because i used to date one. I'm hardly an expert but that's what i would do. Not to mention it will make atheists look bad, assuming you are one.
@InKa4484 I am. My mum was telling me about her friend when she was in university. Her name was Sharon and she was a lesbian. A group of baptists decided to "cure" her lesbianism by driving the demon out of her. What they did was lock her in a room with no food, water or sleep (they made LOTS of noise) for a week and eventually she had a seizure and they said it was the demon leaving her body. The sickest part I think was that they actually thought they were helping
@AntiMatterWave just give her a good hard fuck. then she will worship you and believe anything you say. women like to follow leaders and will believe pretty much anything. well, the stupid ones will. and she looks like one.
Lying in the name of Jesus, I never understood why people like Cockoduck Boy and Banana Man do that, or why they consider it be be moral. What the hell kind of mental acrobatics does one need to do that?
What's the point with debating those dimwits? They don't want to learn anything they don't already know. They don't read anything, especially not the bible. They don't know what they're talking about and they don't care. They lie and deceive to cover up the fact that they have nothing on science. They're illiterate, naïve, intellectually challenged and brainwashed into thinking that they can't be wrong just because they have a bible.
Problem is they run society so please convert as many you can
@JungleJargon Nice job of not trying at all to disprove at all the other's person's comments and instead make a completely false statement that was disproven in the first minute of this video. You are a shining example of Christianity
Prof. Louis Bounoure, Director of Research, National Center of Scientific Research said
"Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless."
Do a YouTube search on “kansas evolution hearings” to hear real, credible scientists, present powerful arguments which debunk Darwinian/Macro evolution.
@theot58 Do they teach 'Quote Mining' in Sunday schools, that's all creatards know how to do.
There are over 250,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies on evolution, with full support from every related life science, including genetics. DNA Code itself proves how all life is related to all life.
There has not been a single falsification to refute evolution in 150 years of relentless scrutiny!
It is the backbone of Biology, accepted by all scientists.
@gregrutz Your comment "There has not been a single falsification to refute evolution in 150 years of relentless scrutiny!" is total rubish.
Dr John Sanford (Genetisist and inventor of the GeneGun) said .
” The bottom line is that the primary axiom [of Darwinian/Macro evolution] is categorically false, you can't create information with misspellings, not even if you use natural selection.”
Do a YouTube search on “kansas evolution hearings” and LISTEN TO THE EVIDENCE
Darwinian/Macro evolution is a total fairytale believed for religious/philosophical reasons and not because the science supports it. How stupid is it to BELIEVE that the prevailing world "made itself" from simple chemicals.
SCIENCE CONTRADICTS DARWINIAN/MACRO EVOLUTION - IT DOES NOT SUPPORT IT
Do a YouTube search on “kansas evolution hearings” to hear real, credible scientists, present powerful arguments which debunk Darwinian/Macro evolution.
@theot58 If evolution contradicts science, why haven't the science community found out about it? Sure, a few fringe lunatics believe that the Bible is the ultimate truth, but the VAAAST majority of scientists acknowledge that evolution is true.
"Darwinian/Macro evolution is a total fairytale believed for religious/philosophical reasons"
It's amazing how backward you have it. It blows my mind that people as stupid as you actually exist.
@theot58 Religious people use arguments form authority because they assume everyone is as credulous as they are. Religious people assume we all look at authority figures and say "Well, if that guy said it, it must be true!".
We all need to ignore Mr. JungleJargon. Just look at the enormous number of crazy "facts" this troll has posted. Maybe he'll just go away and rub two sticks together, or something.
@Impalamark64 He does that on a LOT of AronRa's videos too. *Sigh* We must deal with these sad folks without complaint while creationist videos' top comments complain that some Atheists apparently mad and full of hate putting in an opinion and questioning their beliefs.
Genetic information (DNA), like other forms of information, can't happen by chance, so it's more logical to believe that genetic similarities between all forms of life are due to a common Designer who designed similar functions for similar purposes. It doesn't mean all forms of life are biologically related! Read my Internet articles under my name: Babu G. Ranganathan
NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible in nature (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). Species couldn't have survived if their vital tissues, organs, biological systems were still evolving. Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! I discuss: Punctuated Equilibrium, "Junk DNA," genetics, mutations, natural selection, fossils, genetic/biological similarities between species.
These two guys are a debacle. They, indeed, are living proof of evolution. Funny, all we have to do to prove the missing link to these guys is to hold up a mirror!
@echalko No they are an example of artificial selection. Now that we have eliminated nature's methods of weeding out the least favorable traits in humans, they we're allowed to talk about what they want instead of say...getting eaten.
Were did you get that information? I wont to see some of that stuff that hitler said! I'm writing a persenal desertation on the emportance of evolution in science and intellectual thought!
@Bluesman63 just because you do not like their religious hypocracy please dont then disrespect homosexualily with a slur. it offends gay people. so what if they are homosexuals? you should instead encourage them to come out of the closet and spread peace and love in the world.
@aden302000 You know what? I apologize. Sincerely. Yes, there are many out there who hide their own homosexuality behind religious posturing, but I have no evidence that Mr. Cameron and Mr. Comfort are two of them. I think in an attempt to be funny or cute I gave the appearance of a homophobia which just isn't me. Thanks for keeping me honest.
Most everyone, from either side, uses Hitler in an argument because he is regarded as the symbol of evil, not just his opinions.
I personally don't perceive Hitler as a symbol of evil. Yes, I regard him as cruel and despicible for his actions while in power involving persecution and discrimination. But saying he's all evil also says reducing unemployment, restoring a fallen country back to full dignity and frankly brilliant rallying is also evil. Not his methods - just the concept.
@jaykulls Yeah, you are fundamentally right, just as John Lennon was in "Imagine". At the risk of sounding a bit like Barack Obama, people will cling to their religion, especially in hard and dangerous times, when probably the best solution is to let religions go, and take with their ancient dogma and institutionalized xenophobia with them. Is this possible in our lifetime? I really don't know.
@Bluesman63 I doubt it will be possible in our lifetime, but I think it's about time we started speaking out against it. Respecting ppls religion is an idea invented by religion, but if we say nothing it will go on forever. If I wanted help on any topic at all, I wouldn't go and find a 1600 year old book as a reference. Religion is just so ridiculous. If they all believe in a different god, then it's pretty obvious that they are all wrong.
The essential function of most of the most common elements working inside of us as the machine parts that they are does show the entire universe consisting of most of the most common elements does have a very great Maker.
@Bluesman63 You must not know about the 60 million cubic miles of sediments covering all life there was on earth which can only be the result of the the worldwide flood 4400 years ago. You must think that 60 million cubic miles of sediments appears like magic destroying all life on earth.
You must also think that objects get the credit for what they are and what they are ordered to do by a preexisting word written in and with the function that the elements were made to have.
@transtlantic 60 million cubic miles of sediments covering all life forms on earth prove that your tree ring "chronology" is a bunch of nonsense. Nothing is any older than 4400 years old because it is all under a mile or more of sediments with the exceptions of upheaval.
The reality is that all things that function have a maker. Since hydrogen functions inside of us, the entire universe consisting primarily of hydrogen has a Maker. Science cannot disprove what the Bible says, it supports it.
@JungleJargon over 1trillion cubic miles of sediments prove you wrong. moron...since when are all life forms covered by sediments? are you fucking covered by sediments? you stupid shit.
Dendrochronology is the science that proves there was no such thing as a biblical flood. you lose, you coward pussy. all ppl have to do is to GOOGLE the term and see you wrong.
The reality is that ALL functions do not require a maker. rain DOES not require a maker.
@JungleJargon You are operating under the mistaken asasumption that Darwinism doesn't allow for the occurence of massive flooding in various parts of the world. Did you know that there is volcanic island in the Canary Island chain that will split in two some day, and half will fall into the ocean, flooding much of the Eastern US and South America, as well as parts of Europe and Africa?. Look it up.
You Creationists need to let it go. You are truly tilting at windmills. It's pathetic.
@Bluesman63 Only a global flood would deposit 60 million cubic miles of sediments. No local flood is nearly that massive. The sediments account for all of the continents and mountain chains that exist.
@JungleJargon It seems ironic and hypocritical to me that someone so dismissive of the nearly universally accepted Darwinian model in the scientific field of biology wants to pass himself off as an expert in the scientific field of geology, while simultaneously misrepresenting nearly universally held beliefs in THAT field.
That assertions of any scientific merit whatsoever can be milked from the Bible is a hopeless proposition. Now grab your lance and climb on your pony, Don Quixote.
@Bluesman63 See if you can get any scientist to address the issues the same way you just failed to do.
No scientist has ever accounted for the origin of 60 million cubic miles of sediments or how they came to cover all life on earth. Don't you see that as hypocritical? If not, it is no wonder that you fit right in with them.
Address the issues, face the facts. I am not the only one who sees the faulty science.
We have to go by the evidence that we have. We cannot be fabricating evidence.
@JungleJargon Hey, ya know what? My girlfriend and I were in an antiques shp and I picked up one of them old phonographs with that big cone-like thing for a speaker. Then we went to a novelty place and cut a record featuring all your arguments for the creation myth.
But when we tried to play the record, it just kept on skipping, saying over and over "60 million cubic miles of sediments, 60 million cubic miles of sediments..."
@Bluesman63 60 million cubic miles of sediments forming all of the continents and mountain chains and covering all life on earth is not a myth. It is historical fact with that physical evidence to prove it.
You are living on a planet that was destroyed once already by a flood and the next time, it will be destroyed by fire.
You did not say anything about the evidence of a global flood because there is nothing you can say.
@BravoP085 You need a reference to know that the fossils are buried under 100 million cubic miles of sediments. I have to revise that back again to about 60 million cubic miles. The land areas of the continents are about 58 million square miles and the layers of sediments covering the fossils are on average a mile deep so that is about 60 million cubic miles of sediments that are covering the fossils.
Note that the sediment deposits are on land and not in the oceans so the earth is young.
@JungleJargon Again, references please to studies, observations and peer reviewed works on the nature of earth's sediments, I mean links and such, if you need to use PM or whatnot to link sources then by all means, also could you verify the thesis and such ( as in 'Because of A, B and C, We can conclude D').
@JungleJargon I'm giving you the opportunity to lay out your claim, provide the evidence that convinced you and which you feel supports it, and then present it. I don't have an answer because you've provided nothing I can look at, do my own research into, and otherwise check against other evidence I can find. You have the burden to prove your claim and an unproven claim that can't be disproved still hasn't been proven true. You're getting a pretty honest and fair chance here to prove your point.
@JungleJargon Here's some questions to help then: *Are these sediments of the same composition? *How do you know the various sediments are due to flood, and not volcanic activity, wind, etc? *If there was a single flood even that buried all life at a certain point, why are there so many other layers of fossilized organisms?
The fossils are a mile deep, the Grand canyon proves that fact and we can see all of the layers with many of the layers extending for hundreds and hundres of miles.
All of the fossils are buried. That is what we should expect. It does not matter what layer they are found in.
The sea floor is always on the bottom and everything else is on top. We should expect that.
We should not expect everything to be in the same layers.
@JungleJargon My answer was that I doubt all your facts, hence I was requesting you to provide the sources you get your facts from, rather than what you know or think off the top of your head. Scientists put hours and hours into accounting for meticulous details, abstracts and observations and then must contend with peer review, just to present even basic ideas and hypotheses; your challenge to their works is subject to the same scrutiny.
@BravoP085 You did not tell me which facts that you doubt. Is it the area of land that the continents have or is it the depth of the sediment layers that cover all life forms on earth?
You have put forward no facts or information. Let's check out your "facts".
@JungleJargon Still no answers I see, well there goes your chance to be heard out instead of being dismissed as a cook as usual. No evidence, no proof, no reason for me to bother any further with you.
@JungleJargon I made it clear: Provide a thesis and evidence if you want to be taken seriously. And google the terms "Thesis" and "Evidence" since you clearly don't know what they mean. And on your questions, I don't know off the top of my head, these are questions you ask teachers, scientists, and educators in the various fields, or pick up a book to check out (not the bible). I guess you're going to now conclude your ideas are right because someone on youtube can't answer otherwise? Lol
@JungleJargon Perhaps some points were misinterpreted, perhaps not, either way I would suggest you do some more research. If you care so much about this then it wouldn't hurt you to educate yourself, if you're right then researching the other side of things will only prove you right- if you're wrong, then it will show (Unless you refuse to accept that you might be wrong, in which case just don't bother), Otherwise you're just wasting time arguing about things you don't even seem to understand.
@JungleJargon He doesn't need to answer, since he asked a question first. So answer by giving the references (links, article titles/authors) and then he'll address your questions. If that's too complicated, then simply admit you have no evidence. Fair is fair.
@JungleJargon case one. starlight takes millions and millions( some billions if you see through a good enough telescope )of years to reach the earth. yet oddly we see stars!!!!!! now why isnt there a wall where we cant see any stars past 6000 light years?
@JungleJargon The Bible has even less to do with the known age of life on Earth. If you disprove the age of the Earth according to the Bible, that calls into question everything else it says. And life has been proven in mutliple fashions to have been on this planet for millions of years. You can deny it all you like, but the only person who's being deceived by your words is you.
@andromidius The fossils are 4400 years old because they all died in the flood and were buried under 60 million cubic miles of sediments covering every continent including Antarctica.
There is also no more than 6000 years of actual verifiable human history and we did not just climb down out of the trees and start talking.
@JungleJargon After reading hundreds of YouTube comments like yours, I have to openly wonder, just what are you trying to accomplish, anyway? Do you really want scientific advancement to cease, just so you'll feel warm and fuzzy with your superstitions? Just exactly why is it necessary to bend the laws of the universe to fit the crazy claims of the Bible? Would you really be happier living in the Bronze Age? Why drag the rest of humanity down for your own selfish validation? Sheesh, grow up!
@JungleJargon Aah, the ever present "Strawman" that gets referenced every time someone doesn't like the way a discussion (argument) is proceeding.
You are truly a knucklehead of the highest order. In order to address every stupid statement you've made, I'd have to sit at my computer all day and waste my time typing hundreds of comments, and you're simply not worth the effort. Some people just need to be written off as a total loss.
@JungleJargon Oh, by the way, I guess you missed the National Geographic article on the 10,000 year old body of a man found in the Italian Alps a few years ago. Also, who ever said that sediment was only on land, not at the bottom of the ocean? Fine sediment, dirt, and sand are all examples of materials formed by the erosion of rocks by water and wind over thousands of years. It is found over the entire surface of the Earth in varying depths, dependent upon the local topography.
@Impalamark64 Talk about a facepalm, nothing you said proves anything.
There are considerably much more sediments on land than what is covering the ocean floors and it should be the the exact opposite if the earth really was billions of years old.
They don't know that the man is 10,000 years old and that is still not millions of years old.
You still think that elements get the credit for designing their own function, making their own function and ordering their own function in life forms.
@JungleJargon Yeah, whatever. It never ceases to amaze me of the pride someone takes in being willfully ignorant. How did you ever pass a science class?
The really irritating thing about you, and people like you, is that you take the advantage of modern technology, while simultaneously biting the hand that feeds you. If you want to live like a 1st century sheepherder, get out of this discussion, hop on your donkey, and take a one-way trip to the desert, where you belong. Don't forget your cross.
@transtlantic The word in the genome is what makes brothers look different from each other.
In meiosis the genome determines everything about what the child will be like except for the spiritual nature which is determined by the belief, expectation and hope that the child has.
That is the reason teaching the truth is so important. Every child has the face of an angel looking at their Maker.
there are no words in the genome. what makes me different from my brother (if not pure twins) is the difference in Gene combination, non-homologus gene inheritance, different polimorphisms, etc.
no words at all.
Actually meiosis only decides each half of the genome. And meiosis only happens in sexual reproduction. over 99% of life forms in this planet don't reproduce sexually.
the genome doesn't order anything. the genome is a molecule.
"are still unchanged"? lolol no they aren't. Hundreds of species don't reproduce sexually and have changed plenty of times. Look at Plant speciation or even Lizard speciation.
"destiny"? bullshit.
spirituality isn't defined as you wrote. you are just making stuff up now.
"Maker"? made up bullshit. no evidence for that crap.
@JungleJargon Oh, bullshit. Your views would have been accepted two or three hundred years ago, but in modern times, science has taken leaps and bounds, leaving religion, which uses only superstition as it's weapon, out of the picture. Again with the "strawman." No strawman here, you personally, are a blithering idiot.
All of your statements come straight from the religion how-to book of fearmongering to intimidate the masses. Instead of appearing knowledgeable, you just look pathetic.
@JungleJargon Lol, you believe in Noah's flood? You believe a 600-year-old man put millions upon millions of animals onto an ENORMOUS boat? Where did Noah get the Marsupials from? Did he discover Australia and America and pick up the Marsupials, then put them back after the flood subsided? What were the animals on the ark eating? How did they defecate? How is any of that insane fairy-tale possible? It's just so absurd.
@JungleJargon The whole earth was alter by a global flood AND LEFT NO EVIDENCE !?! I don't think so tim. There was no global flood, geolgist proved that over 200 years ago at the same time they found out the earth was million of years old.
@JungleJargon WHAT?!? Not all sedimentary rock is from water. Some layers are wind blown sand with desert fossils in them. Some layers are limestone or chald which too many years to lay down. Floods dont' make what we find in nature: distinct layers of different kinds of rock in random order.
There is no evidence for a flood.
Floods don't sort fossils either.
Read a Geology book and get back with us when you get an education.
@JungleJargon You're calling people brainwashed but you yourself believe that a 600-yr-old man made an über-massive boat that contained millions of animals (instructed by God)!?!?
@JungleJargon "It was not millions of species, only each of the kinds of species"
Well, there r about 10 million species on the planet, so Noah would be bringing millions of animals onto the ark. If you believe that the 10 million currently existing species came from the animals put on the ark, then u believe in speciation (macroevolution).
"The geography of the earth was completely altered by the global flood"
Well, where's the evidence that America and Australia were made by this flood?
@JohnnyKubark In "The Descent of Man", Darwin predicted that eventually evolution would increase the gap between humans and the lower apes through the extinction of such "evolutionary intermediates" as gorillas and Negroes! Darwin declared that "the break will then be rendered wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilized state, as we may hope, than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as at present between the Negro or Australian and the Gorilla"
@JungleJargon Actually, who cares if Darwin was racist or a pedophile or serial killer, or whatever? The fact remains that evolution is true, it happens. Darwin's personal opinions about race don't actually change the fact that evolution is demonstrably true.
You have to understand, Darwin isn't a God. We're allowed to question Darwin, he's not the ultimate authority figure. That's the difference between science and religion; we don't have any sacred cows, but you do.
@JungleJargon Darwin's ideas are 150 years out of date, try and keep up with science. Darwin thought evolution proved all men are equal, we are all 'humans'.
All Humans are Apes / Monkeys / Primates / Mammals/ Tetrapods / Cordates / Animals
@somethingdiffereable In spite of his Catholic pandering and Got mit uns slogans, Hitler despised Christianity.
Unfortunately most in the general public are ignorant of what historians have known for decades. His private letters are well documented. What he said in public was 180 degrees polar oposite to what he said in private.
He believed that Christianity was an invention of the Jews, & had more admiration for the practice of eugenics than Catholicism. He never attempted to convert the Jews.
Fantastic video! I learned a few new things about Darwin, myself!

@ASKaPHYSICIST Ghandi appears to be a great figure but when you dig a little deeper he is flawed.
lewisner 3 weeks ago
@lewisner so in your opinion someone has to be perfect in every possible way all the time to be a 'great figure'.
That's what you're implying anyway and you're an idiot to do so and it also has nothing to do with my comment.
Gandhi achieved recognition because of the principles he promoted and the social movement that resulted from it, i.e. he changed his country through peaceful protest.
My point was that the opponents he had to overcome used similar strategies as these creationists
ASKaPHYSICIST 3 weeks ago
@ASKaPHYSICIST My point is that in using Ghandhi as an example you are using the "argument from authority" as xtians do regarding jebus. The fact that you call me an "idiot" shows immaturity and a lack of faith (sic) in your arguments.
lewisner 3 weeks ago

AntiMatterWave 4 months ago
@AntiMatterWave Stay far away from her. Baptists practice brainwashing. I think they call it baptism but either way they are overly proud of their crazy beliefs and to even question them will make god hate them forever. Of course i only know what small town southern baptists are like because i used to date one. I'm hardly an expert but that's what i would do. Not to mention it will make atheists look bad, assuming you are one.
InKa4484 4 months ago
@InKa4484 I am. My mum was telling me about her friend when she was in university. Her name was Sharon and she was a lesbian. A group of baptists decided to "cure" her lesbianism by driving the demon out of her. What they did was lock her in a room with no food, water or sleep (they made LOTS of noise) for a week and eventually she had a seizure and they said it was the demon leaving her body. The sickest part I think was that they actually thought they were helping

You Don't ''believe'' in evolution because of YOUR ''religious/philosophical reasons''. Am I right? Are you a fuddymentalist Christian?

Evolution was accepted 150 years ago. DNA shows how everything is related to everything.

Bluesman63 6 months ago
@Bluesman63 I doubt it will be possible in our lifetime, but I think it's about time we started speaking out against it.
JungleJargon 6 months ago
@JungleJargon
Dendrochronology is the science that proves there was no such thing as a biblical flood. you lose, you coward pussy.

why do you keep presenting circular reasoning? your assumptions don't change reality: no evidence for a maker = no design.

transtlantic 6 months ago
@transtlantic 60 million cubic miles of sediments covering all life forms on earth prove that your tree ring "chronology" is a bunch of nonsense. Nothing is any older than 4400 years old because it is all under a mile or more of sediments with the exceptions of upheaval.
The reality is that all things that function have a maker. Since hydrogen functions inside of us, the entire universe consisting primarily of hydrogen has a Maker. Science cannot disprove what the Bible says, it supports it.

ALL hydrogen = no maker.

transtlantic 6 months ago
@JungleJargon You are operating under the mistaken asasumption that Darwinism doesn't allow for the occurence of massive flooding in various parts of the world. Did you know that there is volcanic island in the Canary Island chain that will split in two some day, and half will fall into the ocean, flooding much of the Eastern US and South America, as well as parts of Europe and Africa?. Look it up.
You Creationists need to let it go. You are truly tilting at windmills. It's pathetic.
Bluesman63 6 months ago
@Bluesman63 Only a global flood would deposit 60 million cubic miles of sediments. No local flood is nearly that massive. The sediments account for all of the continents and mountain chains that exist.
JungleJargon 6 months ago
@JungleJargon It seems ironic and hypocritical to me that someone so dismissive of the nearly universally accepted Darwinian model in the scientific field of biology wants to pass himself off as an expert in the scientific field of geology, while simultaneously misrepresenting nearly universally held beliefs in THAT field.
That assertions of any scientific merit whatsoever can be milked from the Bible is a hopeless proposition. Now grab your lance and climb on your pony, Don Quixote.
Bluesman63 6 months ago
@Bluesman63 See if you can get any scientist to address the issues the same way you just failed to do.
No scientist has ever accounted for the origin of 60 million cubic miles of sediments or how they came to cover all life on earth. Don't you see that as hypocritical? If not, it is no wonder that you fit right in with them.
Address the issues, face the facts. I am not the only one who sees the faulty science.
We have to go by the evidence that we have. We cannot be fabricating evidence.
JungleJargon 6 months ago
@JungleJargon Hey, ya know what? My girlfriend and I were in an antiques shp and I picked up one of them old phonographs with that big cone-like thing for a speaker. Then we went to a novelty place and cut a record featuring all your arguments for the creation myth.
But when we tried to play the record, it just kept on skipping, saying over and over "60 million cubic miles of sediments, 60 million cubic miles of sediments..."
So you see, I don't need you anymore. Adios, Don!
Bluesman63 6 months ago
@Bluesman63 60 million cubic miles of sediments forming all of the continents and mountain chains and covering all life on earth is not a myth. It is historical fact with that physical evidence to prove it.
You are living on a planet that was destroyed once already by a flood and the next time, it will be destroyed by fire.
You did not say anything about the evidence of a global flood because there is nothing you can say.
JungleJargon 6 months ago
@JungleJargon What evidence?
BravoP085 5 months ago
@BravoP085 The evidence of the flood is that all life forms are buried under 100 million cubic miles of sediments.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon
You are a life form who is not buried under any sort of sediment.
you clearly are delusional....
"all life forms are buried"? yeah... you clearly buried your brain a loooong time ago. you moron.
transtlantic 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Reference? Your word by itself isn't evidence.
BravoP085 5 months ago
@BravoP085 You need a reference to know that the fossils are buried under 100 million cubic miles of sediments. I have to revise that back again to about 60 million cubic miles. The land areas of the continents are about 58 million square miles and the layers of sediments covering the fossils are on average a mile deep so that is about 60 million cubic miles of sediments that are covering the fossils.
Note that the sediment deposits are on land and not in the oceans so the earth is young.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Again, references please to studies, observations and peer reviewed works on the nature of earth's sediments, I mean links and such, if you need to use PM or whatnot to link sources then by all means, also could you verify the thesis and such ( as in 'Because of A, B and C, We can conclude D').
BravoP085 5 months ago
@BravoP085 Which fact do you doubt?
Is it the land area of the continents or is it the depth of the sediments deposited by the flood?
If the earth was millions of years old, all of the sediment layers would be in the oceans instead of being on land like they are.
You have no answer for how the sediments got on land to bury all life on earth and you have no answer for why the sediments are not all in the oceans.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon I'm giving you the opportunity to lay out your claim, provide the evidence that convinced you and which you feel supports it, and then present it. I don't have an answer because you've provided nothing I can look at, do my own research into, and otherwise check against other evidence I can find. You have the burden to prove your claim and an unproven claim that can't be disproved still hasn't been proven true. You're getting a pretty honest and fair chance here to prove your point.
BravoP085 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Here's some questions to help then: *Are these sediments of the same composition? *How do you know the various sediments are due to flood, and not volcanic activity, wind, etc? *If there was a single flood even that buried all life at a certain point, why are there so many other layers of fossilized organisms?
BravoP085 5 months ago
@BravoP085 You did not answer.
All life forms are different.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon My answer was that I doubt all your facts, hence I was requesting you to provide the sources you get your facts from, rather than what you know or think off the top of your head. Scientists put hours and hours into accounting for meticulous details, abstracts and observations and then must contend with peer review, just to present even basic ideas and hypotheses; your challenge to their works is subject to the same scrutiny.

JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon I made it clear: Provide a thesis and evidence if you want to be taken seriously. And google the terms "Thesis" and "Evidence" since you clearly don't know what they mean. And on your questions, I don't know off the top of my head, these are questions you ask teachers, scientists, and educators in the various fields, or pick up a book to check out (not the bible). I guess you're going to now conclude your ideas are right because someone on youtube can't answer otherwise? Lol
BravoP085 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Perhaps some points were misinterpreted, perhaps not, either way I would suggest you do some more research. If you care so much about this then it wouldn't hurt you to educate yourself, if you're right then researching the other side of things will only prove you right- if you're wrong, then it will show (Unless you refuse to accept that you might be wrong, in which case just don't bother), Otherwise you're just wasting time arguing about things you don't even seem to understand.

If you say the earth is millions of years old, you have to explain why the 60 million cubic miles of sediments are on land and not in the oceans.

Impalamark64 5 months ago
@Impalamark64 I like very much the way the discussion is going becaus if you had anything to say, you would have said it already.
What about the 60 million cubic miles of sediments now covering all life forms that were living on earth?
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Oh, by the way, I guess you missed the National Geographic article on the 10,000 year old body of a man found in the Italian Alps a few years ago. Also, who ever said that sediment was only on land, not at the bottom of the ocean? Fine sediment, dirt, and sand are all examples of materials formed by the erosion of rocks by water and wind over thousands of years. It is found over the entire surface of the Earth in varying depths, dependent upon the local topography.
Impalamark64 5 months ago
@Impalamark64 Talk about a facepalm, nothing you said proves anything.
There are considerably much more sediments on land than what is covering the ocean floors and it should be the the exact opposite if the earth really was billions of years old.
They don't know that the man is 10,000 years old and that is still not millions of years old.
You still think that elements get the credit for designing their own function, making their own function and ordering their own function in life forms.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Yeah, whatever. It never ceases to amaze me of the pride someone takes in being willfully ignorant. How did you ever pass a science class?
The really irritating thing about you, and people like you, is that you take the advantage of modern technology, while simultaneously biting the hand that feeds you. If you want to live like a 1st century sheepherder, get out of this discussion, hop on your donkey, and take a one-way trip to the desert, where you belong. Don't forget your cross.
Impalamark64 5 months ago
@Impalamark64 You really do love building a strawman so you can knock it down.
Nothing you said has anything to do with the issues.
If you had anything to say, you would have said it by now.
You don't even care about what the real evidence is.
You don't care what the facts are.
Nothing supports evolutions.
Evolution is conrary to science.
Evolution is a fraud.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon
You are just a bat crap crazy creationist/YEC.
you don't have anything to support your claims.
Why can't you explain Plant speciation without using evolution theory?
transtlantic 5 months ago
@transtlantic All the variations of all life forms are the direct cause of the preexisting word in the genome that orders the variations.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon
there are no "preexisting words" in the genome.
YOU ARE JUST full of shit.
transtlantic 5 months ago
@transtlantic The word in the genome is what makes brothers look different from each other.
In meiosis the genome determines everything about what the child will be like except for the spiritual nature which is determined by the belief, expectation and hope that the child has.
That is the reason teaching the truth is so important. Every child has the face of an angel looking at their Maker.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon
there are no words in the genome. what makes me different from my brother (if not pure twins) is the difference in Gene combination, non-homologus gene inheritance, different polimorphisms, etc.
no words at all.
Actually meiosis only decides each half of the genome. And meiosis only happens in sexual reproduction. over 99% of life forms in this planet don't reproduce sexually.
"spiritual" - you are just making stuff up now.
"teaching the truth" -. reification fallacy
transtlantic 5 months ago
@transtlantic There are no English words in the genome. That does not mean the genome does not order life forms into being.
The life forms that don't reprodice sexually are still unchanged since the fossil record. Thanks for that reminder.
Our destiny is not hard wired. It depends on whether or not we believe what is true. That is spirituality.
The truth is that only our Maker is able to be our Savior because there is no one else who can be.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon
the genome doesn't order anything. the genome is a molecule.
The truth: God doesn't exist.
transtlantic 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Oh, bullshit. Your views would have been accepted two or three hundred years ago, but in modern times, science has taken leaps and bounds, leaving religion, which uses only superstition as it's weapon, out of the picture. Again with the "strawman." No strawman here, you personally, are a blithering idiot.
All of your statements come straight from the religion how-to book of fearmongering to intimidate the masses. Instead of appearing knowledgeable, you just look pathetic.
Impalamark64 5 months ago
@Impalamark64 You are still not saying or proving anything. You are not addressing any of the issues.
In the real world, sediments would erode after millions of years, not deposit 60 million cubic miles of sediments covering all life on earth.
You and all your teachers and all their teachers are all wrong about the evidence showing there was a flood that covered all life on earth.
You are wrong and blithering in everything you have said.
It's up to you if you want to continue to blither.
JungleJargon 5 months ago
@JungleJargon Lol, you believe in Noah's flood? You believe a 600-year-old man put millions upon millions of animals onto an ENORMOUS boat? Where did Noah get the Marsupials from? Did he discover Australia and America and pick up the Marsupials, then put them back after the flood subsided? What were the animals on the ark eating? How did they defecate? How is any of that insane fairy-tale possible? It's just so absurd.
JohnnyKubark 4 months ago
@JohnnyKubark The geography of the earth was completely altered by the global flood, as would be expected.
The animals returnd to some of the areas before they were cut off by continuing changes in the earth's topography.
Entire civilizations were lost in this process.
It was not millions of species, only each of the kinds of species.
JungleJargon 4 months ago
@JungleJargon The whole earth was alter by a global flood AND LEFT NO EVIDENCE !?! I don't think so tim. There was no global flood, geolgist proved that over 200 years ago at the same time they found out the earth was million of years old.
gregrutz 4 months ago
@gregrutz The global flood left over 100 milllion cubic miles of layered sediements covering everything that lived on earth.
How can you say there is no evidence?
You must have been brainwashed.
JungleJargon 4 months ago
@JungleJargon WHAT?!? Not all sedimentary rock is from water. Some layers are wind blown sand with desert fossils in them. Some layers are limestone or chald which too many years to lay down. Floods dont' make what we find in nature: distinct layers of different kinds of rock in random order.
There is no evidence for a flood.
Floods don't sort fossils either.
Read a Geology book and get back with us when you get an education.
gregrutz 4 months ago
@JungleJargon You're calling people brainwashed but you yourself believe that a 600-yr-old man made an über-massive boat that contained millions of animals (instructed by God)!?!?
JohnnyKubark 4 months ago
@JungleJargon "It was not millions of species, only each of the kinds of species"
Well, there r about 10 million species on the planet, so Noah would be bringing millions of animals onto the ark. If you believe that the 10 million currently existing species came from the animals put on the ark, then u believe in speciation (macroevolution).
"The geography of the earth was completely altered by the global flood"
Well, where's the evidence that America and Australia were made by this flood?

@JohnnyKubark Darwin thought "negros" are apes. He thought they would be eliminated and replaced by "more civilized people".

@JungleJargon Evidence please.

@JohnnyKubark It is recorded history. You don't believe me?
JungleJargon 4 months ago
@JungleJargon Give me evidence that Darwin was racist. Don't dance around it, just give me the evidence. I want to see this. Prove me wrong.
JohnnyKubark 4 months ago
@JohnnyKubark In "The Descent of Man", Darwin predicted that eventually evolution would increase the gap between humans and the lower apes through the extinction of such "evolutionary intermediates" as gorillas and Negroes! Darwin declared that "the break will then be rendered wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilized state, as we may hope, than the Caucasian, and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as at present between the Negro or Australian and the Gorilla"
JungleJargon 4 months ago
@JungleJargon Actually, who cares if Darwin was racist or a pedophile or serial killer, or whatever? The fact remains that evolution is true, it happens. Darwin's personal opinions about race don't actually change the fact that evolution is demonstrably true.
You have to understand, Darwin isn't a God. We're allowed to question Darwin, he's not the ultimate authority figure. That's the difference between science and religion; we don't have any sacred cows, but you do.
JohnnyKubark 4 months ago
@JungleJargon Darwin's ideas are 150 years out of date, try and keep up with science. Darwin thought evolution proved all men are equal, we are all 'humans'.

Adolph Hitler-Histoy's most famous Christian and Creationist.
somethingdiffereable 7 months ago
The term "intelligent design" is an oxymoron. It should be called moronic pseudo-science.
somethingdiffereable 7 months ago
@somethingdiffereable In spite of his Catholic pandering and Got mit uns slogans, Hitler despised Christianity.
Unfortunately most in the general public are ignorant of what historians have known for decades. His private letters are well documented. What he said in public was 180 degrees polar oposite to what he said in private.
He believed that Christianity was an invention of the Jews, & had more admiration for the practice of eugenics than Catholicism. He never attempted to convert the Jews.

Then accept his challenge and send him a video with evidence of this? Might be an idea.

Hahaha, this is great, I already knew Hitler was religious, but I didn't know he was a creationist!
No surprise there, but it's still delicious.
