I really like the artistic and landscapes.. however why is the video soooo janky when panning around? It looks like it's skipping a frame every second.. it's really annoying.. is that because of encoding/youtube or the application you used to convert it? Otherwise it' really great, good work!

@vdawggie Im really not sure why it is doing that. It plays just fine on my laptop. Something about the upload messed it up... then again, I made this video and edited it, not really knowing what i was doing in the first place. But for an amateur video, I think I did okay. I'll have more videos soon so keep a look out!

@NightOwlFilms123 Yes, don't get me wrong, it's really great landscapes etc... maybe it' your shutter speed while using 24p? I just got this same model and am really trying different modes, exposures etc. One thing that is NOT good, I'm finding some places where it has this white flash. it's really hard to describe but I'm wondering if this camcorder is bad.. it's really noticeable on 24 modes.. I think 24p is probably best for still landscapes and if you do pans. use 30p shutter to 1/60 - 1/00

The introduction was amazing, but I couldn't detect what the main point of "the journey" was other than just panning on the lake/wildlife/dog. I think if you had made the focal point on the dog it would have been stronger. Nice clip and i enjoyed the music too

@johnarum - Immaculate canon's cost $1,000 or above. Any models underneath it are not bad, but u will miss out on visual perfections & pure image stabilization factors. I have the canon vixia HF-S11 ($1,250) AMAZING !! Click on my channel 3 of my short film uploads are there. Click the titles under the actual player 1 by 1 as this will bring u back 2 a normal page like this 1. Now click expand, pause & 1080P & let it load !! You'll see what im talking about after u see my short films man lol.

@blackdecaymusic - In my opinion for the last ten years 0 - 1,000 means less to more options !! thats the best way to judge it man, its been that way for years. To answer ur question is the camera good? It depends what you are using it for & which mode you shoot in. 30P being the best mode. So If your using it in 30P mode for pro short films, its not great, its OK. If your using it in 30P mode for skateboarding (definitely not). However if your using it in 60i HD mode, for fast filming, ur fine.
