You people make me sick "this sucks" u are fucking crazy sabbath has never even done a song that wasn't above average im a true fan and i guess the only one
i always have this argument were people say Ozzy >> over Martin!! like how can u even compare O_O!!! tony martin is a god, and sadly he didnt get his chance to be known (which i dont understand it)
Sabbath has never displeased me with any of their material, no matter the era, the singer, or whatever. Sabbath brought me back to life when I was dying and gave me a reason to live (METAL).
Same here....every era offers me substantial enjoyment...let's face facts, this band has employed some of the most talented people in the industry, and it's reflected tremendously on every album.
to me, sabbath wasnt really worth much in the 90's. One of the few really good songs from that era was Anno Mundi. Dehumanizer and Forbidden are mostly terrible albums, but at least the few new songs made for the Dio Years album and the Reunion thing were really good.
I love Dehumanizer, I think its totally underrated. Forbidden is patchy but there are a handful of great songs, same with Cross Purposes. But it is their weakest period for sure. The tracks on the Dio Years album are cracking alright. I've heard people complain that there are too many slow songs on The Devil You Know, but I think its monumental, and it grows with each listen. But to be honest, if Iommi recorded 20 minutes of geese farting I'd think it was great, hes the king!
i'm not sure why i dislike Dehumanizer so much. Just seems more repetitive and less melodic than classic sabbath, I guess. I liked the song TV Crimes the best
Its not in the same league as Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules I'll grant you but its got some great tracks on it. Yeah, TV Crimes is a killer, I love the song 'I' though, that riff!
Well thats cool, I mean I cant get into the more recent Ozzy solo stuff, the last two albums at least, and I would consider myself a big fan, I dont even think its bad as such, but its just lacking something for me, so I get where you are coming from.
The coolest song ever from dehumaniser is the sond "I" theres some bad ass riffs in that song. The forbidden album is pretty cool but in its own league
yeah i realize a lot of people actually liked that album. I dont know why, but i just think most of the songs are really boring. Of course i wish i liked it, but i just cant. Except TV Crimes. Pretty cool song
that surprises me, i love that album because it reminds me of some stuff from the ozzy era. i was pleased to see it wasn't just a rehash of the first time they got together with Dio. The only album i really cant get into is Seventh Star, which is debatably an Iommi solo album anyway.
I love every sabbath except this one and seventh star. But this one just sounds really wierd. forbidden is an awesome song, but the rest of the album is bizzar. Its Tony's singing that is creeping me out.
why does so much Sabbath stuff gets such a bad wrap? probably because nothing compares to the first 5 albums. oh well, I gues theres just somethings that only a true fan can appreciate.
if you consider Tony Iommi Black Sabbath then this is Sabbath but he is the only original member left on this album. to me without at least Geezer and Tony there it isnt really Sabbath, even if it IS agood song.
So...... Iron Maiden isn't Iron Maiden now because they don't have all the original members? So.....Cross Purposes was Black Sabbath because Geezer and Tony were on it, but Headless Cross isn't?
Who gives a fucking shit who plays on it, its just a song and Black Sabbath is just a name. Ozzy has a succesful career, Tony shouldnt drop the name just for Ozzy's sake.

@EnergizerBunny804 Bah! Don't think of them as Sabbath. Compared to most stuff in the 90's, this was a pretty good metal album.

Though really I would consider Unforgiven as the last Sabbath album.
